1. Your brain is your best defense. Understand your personal security and the motives and emotions of an attacker.
2. Carry a personal security product like pepper spray, or even a ballpoint pen, which can do damage to the eyes and the groin.
3. Go to the bar and get any drink a man buys you directly from the bartender. And always be aware of what he could be putting in your drink.
4. Use the buddy system. There’s strength in numbers.
5. If you go home with a guy, take a picture of him, send it to a girlfriend with his information and tell him that someone knows who you are with and where you will be.
