beautifulolderwoman.jpg No matter how well you hide it, there's just no way to avoid it. You’re going to get old. Here are some tips on how to do it well.

1. Make great friends. It’s important to make time for the people you love no matter how busy you are.
2. Exercise. You may hate breaking that sweat, but the more you get moving now the better you’ll move later.
3. Keep learning. You may be finished with school, but that doesn’t mean you can’t pick up something new. Read a book or take a class.
4. Forget dieting. Don’t jump into every fad diet. Practice a healthy lifestyle and stick to it.
5. Make goals. Never stop setting new goals. You’re never finished.
6. Let yourself go. You don’t have to hide every sign of aging. Enjoy your age and the benefits that come with it.

Recipe: Holiday Spiced Chocolate Fondue

Throw your own holiday fondue party with Jill Davie’s Holiday Spiced Fondue recipe.

(Serves 4)
8 oz fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (no more than 64% cacao if marked)
1 cup heavy cream, room temperature
4 tablespoon unsalted butter
4 tablespoon Cognac, brandy or whiskey
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon star anise
¼ teaspoon allspice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Struggling with Diabetes

randyweb2 Everyone knows Randy Jackson as the judge on American Idol with a Grammy-winning past. But his new role may be his most important yet. Randy is a spokesperson for the American Heart Association’s The Heart of Diabetes campaign and is helping people understand the dangers of the disease. Five years ago Randy was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, becoming one of 21 million Americans suffering from the disease. His diagnosis kick-started his decision to get healthy and lose weight. He had gastric bypass surgery and lost more than 100 pounds and his diabetes is now manageable.

The beauty queen claims someone tried to keep her from the crown by dousing her gown and makeup brushes with pepper spray. Police say traces of the chemical were not detected on her items, but does that mean Miss Puerto Rico is lying?

Police are vowing to investigate further. Some say a security guard may have been involved. Pageant officials say they're sure the new queen is telling the truth. Who do you believe? Should Ingrid Rivera keep her sash?
