I am 17 and resently lost my virginity to someone that i really care for and he is also 17. I am graduating form highschool in June 2008. We have being together for 4 months and it feels like forever. He said he wants to marry me and he even told his mom so i know he's serious. But my problem is he's not in school anymore but he is getting his GED so i sometimes go by his job to see him and thats where it happened and i really didn't want my first time to be like that but we didn't have anywhere else to go. It still felt special because i did it with him but i told him thats it never going to happen there again after i watched your show because i felt that wasn't the appropiate place to do it. So thank you very much for doin that show, and i would really love it if you would write back because i need some advice.

I can't say teenagers shouldn't have sex. I was having sex when I was 14. I just think its important that teens are mature about it, and responsible about it. Teens need to know that you do not need parental permission to get on birth control. I don't think teens should be ashamed of intercourse. But we need to start teaching teens and pre teens about mature sexual behavior. We need to stop saying "Wait to have sex," "Stay Abstinent," because its not going to happen. Teach them how to protect themselves in relationships whether they are sexual or not. Teach them about contraceptives and pap smears and signs of abuse and/or exploitation. Teens are going to keep having sex. They were doing it 40 years ago, it just wasn't talked about like it is now.

at my school we can hang out side before or after school.like manyy other schools.On the way to school One morning my boyfriend was hornyy and so i wasnt gunna waste his boner. and so ya i did it but i feeel extremly bad about it cause you know how on your pants you have a zipper? well i just unzipped my zipper and then he entered mee. and it felt so good but when we pulled away from each other i felt guilty. im scared to tell my parentsss =/ i didnt get prego cause he wore the glove but uughh. thanks to your show im never gunna again till im married.

Just wanted to say i can definetly realate to this episode. I am in grade 8 and only 13 years old and already have had guys come up to me and whisper in my ear like you were saying, and try and touch me. I have to much respect for myself to do that, you are my role model and i will always look up to you! Tyra, I really think that the problem isn't really "teen" sex, it's sex outside of marriage. I would like you to do a show on how adults do things that they know are wrong, but look down on teens when they do the same things. I would like you to do a show on how adults do wrong, and instead of admitting that they are wrong, they make it about age instead of morals. I agree with the guy there are too many adults setting standards, but there aren't enough of them setting examples.

How are you doing? I saw the show yesterday on "Sex in Schools." I have heard news stories about this. It is shocking to me how these teenagers can have sex in school and not get caught. I am 37 years old and when I was in school I remember a few of my peers getting in trouble just for kissing in the hallways between classes. My how times have changed. How did we get to this point? Where did we drop the ball? It seems like either the parents are not talking to their kids about sex or they just don't know how to talk to their kids at all.

I am a little afraid for this generation of kids because they have so much to deal with on so many levels. Will these kids have the tools to deal with the challenges of the real world? Some of these kids have no fear. They don't realize the consequences of their actions. How did some of the girls become so bold and aggressive with the boys all of a sudden? It was not like that before.

Tyra I think you need to consider doing a show on why it seems like so many teachers are having sex with their students.

I think you need to stop doing so many shows about teenagers because I think you honestly just want to be one again because you're old.
Youre just jealous that teenagers have perky breasts and high self esteem.
You were apparently quiete the good two shoes in high school if you never expirimented with anything or anyone.
Maybe you should try it sometime.

Just because we drink and do drugs doesnt mean we are destined to be people with no careers who fend off their parents.

I just want to say that I'm a huge fan (u probably hear that all the time!. As for teens having sex in school, that is ridiculous. We all know, yes teens have raging hormones and all of that, but I really don't think that is an excuse for giving in and doing it. I'm 22 yrs old so it's not like I don't remember being 15,16 yrs old but come on...it's not that hard to control yourself and say no. I think its stupid that children are giving in to their "raging hormones" and doing things that could have serious consequences. 13/14 yr olds are no longer acting their age and that is disappointing. Even though 16 yr olds may say things like "but I love him and we've been together for 1yr so we should have sex" that is still not a valid reason for having sex. Yes it's a personal descision but I just want to yel lout "who do you little girls think you are running around and having sex with some boy who will not be around forever!" Once you hit 18yrs old then it's more reasonable to be thinking about having sex because you are leaving your childhood and entering adulthood and are more likely to be with someone who you may end up spending the rest of your life with. And if the person you are with forces you and you feel pressured to do it is not worth it, someone better will come along, you just have to be patient and keep your legs closed. It's not that hard no matter what anyone says...THANKS!

I just want to let you know that I am truly a fan of yours, and have been for some time. I think that you give hope to the hopeless. I must say though on this show I had to disagree with you when you were saying that as parents we have to be realistic. I don't think that sex is just a reality of todays teens. I think that if you teach your teen to have self-esteem and to understand how precious their body is then they can sustain. I am only 25 so it was not that long ago that I was a teen. I thought that my goodies were the sh**. Not just anyone could have them. If you weren't up to par then you had to keep it moving. So I say this to may be enlighten you that teens and sex just don't go hand in hand. I think that teens have to built up mentally. They have to b involved in other things so that they don't even think about it.

Freedom is OK, but letting it run out of hand: Not OK.

Children need to know their limits and if "not having sex" is one of them the I support that.
