Alice I'm sure there must be some Main town opportunities for you there in Australia. Have you tried targetting local Fashion Stores and places like that? They may have up and coming projects that could need a Model!
Have like a leaflet size Comp Card with you at all times, one that shows at least three clear views of you including a Head Shot and your contact details on it and drop one to the Managers of places like that.
I understand that the Japanese Modelling Industry is quite good now and they often look for taller overseas models, may be worth looking into Alice?
My granddaugther is 23 yrs old and have all the making of the next top model can you tell me how she can be a part of next top modeling, show.

OMG...Tyra I love you so much. You are my role model and my inspiration to become a talk show host. I am 16 years old and with so much of my teenage life going on, I make an effort to watch you daily. I love how you are not in the entertainment world for fame, but to help young girls like myself. I am forever quoting you all the time. Like about fashion tips, or just plain life in general tips. I always say, well Tyra says this or that, and everybody always be like you are forever quoting her.I love you so very much, and I hope your show doesn't just stop at the 500th, but keeps going on for LIFE. Without you, I wouldn't know what to do!!!

Hey Tyra. Love your show so much. I would like to know why is it that on ANTM the girl Danielle had to get rid of her accent, but Jaslene and Natasha..no one said anyhting about theirs, atleast not that I can remember. Why is okay for models to have a foreign accent but not an American Southern accent?
I would also like to see you talk about how people, strangely so many black people, just seem to be .. so in love with the thought of light skin, long hair, and light eyes. && Mixed people. By mixed I mean with black and another race. I have light skin and long hair and I have had people make so many comments about my appearance since I was a baby. I've had guys that only wanted to talk to me just because they thought I was mixed. People can say the rudest things to you when they think that you are mixed. "Oh she think she's cute because she is light skinned" or "She only got long hair because she is mixed". Black people, not all but many, seem to think of the whole race as ugly, bald headed and dark and that if you look any different that you are mixed. I hate that. And thats is not right! I know people who think that any black person who looks good is mixed. Any black person with long hair..is mixed. I'm tired of that. I'm tired of people TELLING me that I am mixed, or making stupid comments because they THINK I am mixed and I look a certain way. Black people come in so many different shades, different hair textures and so on. What is the deal here? I wish black people did not think that way about themselves. Here a few of the many comments I've heard.
-Girl, you are so pretty, are you mixed?
-Why is your hair so long? You must be mixed!
-Aye girl, can I get your number...BTW what are you mixed with?
Now that is just sad.

Tyra,
You are a role model to teenage girls like me everywhere. So many girls in hollywood today are always out partying and doing drinking but not you. Instead, you are devoting your time to make a difference in this world by showing people that EVERYONE is equal, taking your time to go undercover and experience what non-famous people like us have to go through, and showing girls that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing to be kool. I love you so much. Its sad to think that I might not ever get to meet you. But I love you very much. Your definately my hero, girl! so rock on and keep doin what you doin!

Hi Tyra. I remember watching you model when I was a young girl. I never thought that I could be a model because I am short and grew up over weight. But I lived vicariously through you. You were tall, slinder, had "pretty eyes", and most of all you were a BLACK WOMAN! I absolutely LOVE ANTM! When I was working on my Master's Degree, it was the ONLY show that I made time to watch because of my grueling schedule. My roommate and I would watch together and I even remember crying on the cycle that Daniel was on because we were both so happy for her.
Now, I that I'm working on my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, I have to tivo both the Tyra Show and ANTM. I watch them at night when I get home before I go to bed (whether it’s 2am or 11pm). It's one of the highlights of my life after a grueling day at school and externship. I even got my boyfriend to watch ANTM and he textes me who gets “kicked off” if I’m not home to see it, lol.
I just admire all that you do and all that you mean. I LOVED the show that you did about light-skinned versus dark-skinned blacks. I could totally relate because my mother is light-skinned and I'm brown-skinned. Growing up I was so self-conscious of myself because not only was I overweight, but I was also darker than my light-skinned, thin mother. One thing that I also think is important to add to that topic is "good" versus "nappy" hair. The only thing that I could hold on to as a child was my "good" hair. But I recently cut it ALL off and went natural. Girlfriend let me tell you, it was SUCH a release! You never realize how much hair is a comfort zone. But I can say that I am finally being true to myself and love me for me (overweight, short hair, brown-skinned, and all).
I know that I am talking a lot, but I just had to let you know what an inspiration you are. By not being afraid to be you, oh, and having the black female psychologist on your show (that REALLY impressed me and made me feel like, dang they're doing it, so can I). I remember you said that Beyonce (love her too) was like your "Tina Turner". Well, you are like my "Oprah"! Not only to me, but my whole generation. You tackle the topics and put it out there for real!
I would love to possibly meet you one day, or just be an audience member! My line sisters and I (I'm a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.) will be celebrating our 5-year anniversary as Deltas in NY this summer in June. I'm not certain if you are taping then, but we would all love to come to a taping of your show (they love you too)!
Even if we never meet, this email is to serve as an indication to you that you are doing it FIERCLY and I love you for it! P.S. I just saw you on the VIEW and you were Fab-u-lous as always (and I love what you said about Whoopi)! Oh, and I heard rumors that you weren't going to host ANTM anymore, don't give it up...I look forward to seeing you each week!
HAPPY 50TH SHOW!!! I love you Girlfriend!!!

Yesterday, I watched with high emotions when that racist American and their children telling you to go back to Africa. I learned two things; that you will remain an African and two u need to help Africa build its image. Lastly, can u assit Kenya and Africa promote ethical practices to alleviate poverty(we can discuss more). U can do it.
