i love ur show I watch it every day as soon as I get home from school while doing ma homework

I wished that I had a normal experience with sex, unfortunately, I had been raped at the age of seven, and thirteen. But I had been sexual because of peer pressure and no adult supervision. It had taken me years to emotional develop and feel good about myself. It was not my fault! I could never change the damage, however, I made it through the storm. Now, I don't have sex.

Hi, Trya...
I'm elisha from the philippines...I just watched your show yesterday as I do every night...I think that it's nice of you to be having a forum about teenage sex...I have no problems with that...because my mom tells me all about it...I didn't realize how much the youth of america are being mislead...sex in schools??!! that's so wrong! the only right time for you to have sex is when you're married and when you're doing it with the one you're united with in marraige...I'm a christian so my parents like for me to learn right between wrong but don't we all?? Keep up the good work! I love your show...I get a lot of good advice from your show..

Hello, Ms. Banks
How are you doing? I hope fine. I believe that peer pressure is an obvious problem, especially, in todays world. But we can over come this problem through prayer, discipline, and counseling. I was sexually abuse at age seven, so I wavered emotionally, until I became an adult.

I love you Tyra

hey tyra love ur show i thank it's great that u talk about sex young kids grown up is raise by young parents they not teachin them about sex even the adult need some schooling on sex bye love you

hey tyra, well i love your show and just totally love you too BUT..... it's good that you're featuring all these issues on teenage sex and trying as much as possible to get that word out there, there's just one thing, i think that you should go more in depth to show and educate every one what is the purpose of sex, it's effects if not done in the correct way- interms of, not just finding some one you "click" with and just doing it! but more or less that it's an emotional, physical process on proper maturity. also that sex is a spiritual thing and the reason that some marriages don't work or when some one is molested it destroy's them, it's because it's a spiritual thing. this is one thing that i've found that although you bring all of these issues to the fore-front -and that's a really good thing- there's no real depth to some of the situations that are brought forward and you don't touch on any thing spiritual which would sort of give others more insight on what we are faced with, BUT then again religion is a very sensitive issue and could raise alot of controversy on your part but any ways i think you're doing a really good job, keep doing what you're doin' and keep making that money. hope that i could do the same and better one day. bye

hello, tyra. love the show. personally, i think that high schools everywhere should seriously have sexual education as a requirement. i never took sex ed. so i don't really know much of the consequences of having sex. i really learned alot from the previous show. thank you.

Your April 8th show is common now on t.v. Talk-show hosts comment on issues that should be left up to individual families and their standards for raising their children. Then you bring on these so-called "experts" who have bias against anything Christian and fundamental. I am proud that Christian teens realize they have a choice; they can bow to the world's sexual promiscuity or protect and pride themselves on waiting until that special one comes along and COMMITS. How else can you steer clear of STD's and AIDS? Realizing that there are no guarantees, at least they know the choices. Condoms are not the only answer. Condoms break and when young people are in the heat of sexual activity, condoms are not thought about. Animals are also "sexual", but we are made of a higher order and should act accordingly. Stop bashing Christian ethics and have some teens on your show who have successfully stayed virgins -- to balance the issue. Also-
Talk to North Jersey Community Research Initiative; 12-13 year olds coming in with syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia and AIDS. GET THE FACTS Y'ALL!!!

hi,
I was surprised at the way people with o.c.d suffer in silence.it was good that you told them to be ready for a battle with a psychiatrist who was also in your show.i also have a nose picking problem which i think is associated with o.c.d. Can you keep me posted with more stories concerning o.c.d. maurice

Hey Tyra, I love you but, I disagree with you on the sex issue with teens. I do agree that it's not okay in school because hello, you're supposed to be learning! However, I believe people should raise their kids the way they want as long as they're up right citizens. Just as it's okay for you to feel that kids could have sex "when they're ready" It's okay for parents to tell their kids to wait until marriage no matter how "sexual" they are. I'm a Christian and my mom taught me to wait for marriage and that's cool. I'm 21 and have not rebelled. It's okay to teach me morals because as long as I was under her roof she was responsible for me, just as your mom was for you. When you get grown you can do what you want. I don't think any teen is ready for sex but as far as I'm concerned, there are different ways of parenting and I'm a well rounded woman just like you. So I don't think my mom was wrong for telling me to wait, in fact I appreciate her all the more for it!!!! You're still my girl though Tyra because we can agree to disagree, that's what makes this a free country!love ya xoxoxoxox

I thought that this show was pretty good, but there were some things i didn't agree with. First of all, yes teens will have sex, get used to it. But it's bad in school! Not only is it disrespectful to everyone else, no one ever mentioned how its disrespectful to YOURSELF! I don't understand why sex has to be considered a taboo! If you set a rule for your children not to have sex, they will break them! How come in other countries sex is viewed as normal! And they don't have as much as a problem as we do! Hello! Doesn't that say something? You people need to open up your eyes and see that sex is a natural thing! We need to stop with all these abstenece only programs, and show them what to do if they do decide to have sex. I'm not saying to have sex with everyone you see, that's wrong! But if you are in a monogamous relationship I don't see a problem with it! Also, I didn't understand why most of the guests said that if you have sex, you either get pregnant or get an STD, that doesn't always happen! Stop putting that in people's minds! Sex doesn't always mess up your life, it only does if YOU let it!

I think the show was horrible. We are supposed to teach kids to wait to have sex. Not tell them well you are going to do it just dont do it at school. I think Tyra needed to be more stricked instead of just saying "Oh you do it in the class room with your teacher". I understand that we all got here from our parents having sex but young teenagers doing it is just crazy and somebody needs to reach out to the kids and teach them that they need to wait. Not just wait until schools over.
