My name is Quanisha & im 15. I watch your show everyday and I really enjoyed your 500th episode yesterday, you really inspire me. I was just hoping if you would help me give my mother a wonderful Mother's Day she deserve.

My mother name is Tonya and she has 4 kids and im the second to oldest. My mother is a hard working person. She takes care of all of us mostly by herself. Then she has my oldest brother who she also got to take care of but he goes to school away so that makes it even harder on her. We don’t live n the best environment so she’s working harder for us to get a new place. She work 9pm to 6am in we don’t really have that much time with her until the weekend because she work at night so she's getting her sleep for the next night when we home. My mother is the best and the most beautiful person n my world. I’m the only girl n have 3 brothers so I get the most n she think I don’t appreciate what she do for me she just did my room over for me and I don’t know what to get her because what I want to get her I cant afford.

My mother is the type of person that’s gives more then gets n I love the fact that she gives but what I don’t like is the fact that she gives but barely gets my mother can have 20 dollars and its her last and somebody can come ask her for 10 and she would give it to them and wont ask for it back. I just want to be the one she thanks the most on Mother's Day I know what she likes but I also know what she really likes n that’s Lisa Raye but I cant get her for her so I was just hoping if you could just help me make this the Mother's Day she wouldn’t ever forget. I know this is not the worst story you heard but I just want my mother to know I do really Love & Appreciate her very much & even though we live n a not so good environment good things could happen. first of all i want to tell you that i am a HUGE fan of your show and i think you are doing an amazing job educating us on self respect and many other things lol but i really am writting you to tell you about my sister catie she has been through a very hard mariage with a man that ended up havin two other kids with two other women she contined to live her with her daughter as best she could she has also been like a mother to me since our mother died when i was only 8 and she was 14 she has been very fortunate to find a lovin trustin husband and is now 6 months pergnant with another baby grl her husband and i want to give her the best mothers day ever because she deserves to be regonized as a stong mother that she is and i know that you can make this come true for her but if not i just ask tha you give her a special shout out on your mothers day show her anme is catie pinedo since will most likely be watching it thank you and i love you... ann

congrats on your 500 episode. i alwasy want to see your show (but it usually airs while im at school.) anyway i would love it if you gave my mom something special.
I KNOW there are many great moms but my mom has suffered ALOT. my mom got pregnet when she was 21. and from there she was beeaten up by my dad (paul) no one form her family would help her. she was working double shifts! my mom would leave me with my dad (trustin him he could take care of me) but he left me all alone. so she had to hire a babysitter while he was out going to clubs! i remember her crying and praying to god things would get better.
one day my mom realized she wouldnt want me growing up with a cruel dad, so she tried to esape him, but as she was going he beat her up. my mom sent me to mexico with my grandparents, and divorced my dad. my mom finally got enough money to take careof us both, so i was sent to california and back to my mommy. my mom met a man she worked with named gabriel, they got married, and sooner or later my mom discovered he was doing drugs and was cheating on her. she didnt have to work, but she was always lonly, so she met a guy, she like him as a friend (but no more) then my dad foud out about him and he beat up my mom HE BIT HER FACE! i tried to contol him, but he just pushed me away. my mom divorced, at that age i was seven. well at that age my dad paul contacted me and asked me to come to England, for a vistit, i said "yes" we had a nice time, but then he hit me. so my mom went though the toruble of getting a restrianing order against him! he wouldnt sign the paper work for the restraing order, so the money for the layer went to waist. well my mom had started dating a new man (shane.) shane at her dated until 5 years. then they got married. THIS WAS MY MOMS 3rd MARRAGE, so she thought it was going to work. shane got a job in las vegas. so for his sake me and my mom moved there. my mom sacrafised EVERYTHING her job, her car, he friends, her family, it was horibble. well my mom finally settled in las vegas, and she couldnt find a job for 9 months, so she really struggled with the bills. well after a while, my mom was bored, her and shane never had pasion, or anything! she would only see him a couple times a day, so she packed her stuff, and when he was at work we went back to california. my mom had me a man named bruno, he had always helped us with the bills and he seemed very nice. but he decided he would keep paying the bills for sex. bruno was very cruel, he wasnt attractive, he had gotton in a motorcyl accident so he was disfigured. but my mom slept with him so she wouldnt have to stress out as much, and she wanted the best for me, so she made the sacrafice of giving up her body for me. it was a bad thing, but she did it for the skae of her child. by that time my mom was working 4 jobs! she had to pay for day care, and food, and gass, plus the bills, and she never got any child support. she wanted her child to have a good life, filled with clothes with the latest style, so she continued being with bruno

sooner or later my mom found out that bruno was in bank rupt for more than 15k! she was astonished. she checked brunos phone and saw that he had gotton so many lowns!! she didnt want her child growing up with bankrup!
she was giving up her body for nothing. for the past month my mom cried and cried. SHE GAVE UP HER BODY, the most sacret thing....she gave that thing up for HER child. she kicked bruno out of the house. the house me and my mom were living in was really expensive. she couldnt aford the rent even with a roomate how was she suppose to do it by herself? well my mom started lapdancing. she made lots of money, bu she had to pay for the gass, bills, car (porche), school, and everything else! my om still hasnt found a way to pay the bills, she has suffored to much, and so have I. i would like you to give her something, anything. so instead of me getting a gift from her. i want her to get a gift from you.

I've never been one to ask for sympathy, if anything I never liked people feeling sorry for me.

Recently, about 2 weeks ago, my father passed away due to a heart attack. None of us were expecting it.

My mom and dad were so in love and were married for 20 years.

My mother was devastated when my daddy left us. I tried to be strong for her, so rather than cry in front of her, I made sure I was by myself and everyone was long asleep.

My dad was my everything as well as my mother and younger brother.

So obviously with Mother's Day coming up, how am I supposed to celerate her when I know in her heart all she wants is her best friend and husband back?

She is the most amazing woman I know and I can't bring my daddy back, I wish it was that easy.

What can I do? She means everything to me...

My name is Amanda and i am writing to you all the way from Odessa,TX. First of all i love your show and what your doing to help the community as well as people around the world is very inspiring. The reason for me writing is because mother's day is around the corner. I just became a new mom in january and with the help of my mom i have learned how to be such a caring loving mother towards my daughter. My mother has two biological children myself and my older brother as well as a neice (who she considers her daughter) that she took in at the age of twelve. She did not only take in my older cousin but took in a younger cousin of mine(her great neice) in the time of need. She also took in her oldest grandaughter in until the parents were stable. Through all this Tyra, she made sure we had everything we needed in life. She has helped all of us out financially when she was having trouble financially. She gave us shelter when we needed shelter. She gave us food when we needed food all when she was having trouble affording these things.She is the supervisor at where she works and it seems that it has really put a toll on her. She has been so stressed out and tired lately but she still has time to volunteer to be head of the nursery minestry at our church. she always has a smile on her face. As a new wife and mom i can not afford to give back what she has given to me and my siblings. I love her very much and to this day she still helps me and my family. She is my best friend. I don't go one day without talking to her.I really want to do something special for her this year. I know she deserves to be pampered and i couldn't think of a better person to do it than you Tyra. You are an inspiration to us all take care and god bless.

Dear Tyra,
I recently gave birth to my daughter this past March and honestly I don't know what I would have done without my Mom. Our relationship hasn't been the greatest in the last couple of years but with the birth of my daughter we are getting an opportunity to make amends and have a relationship. I would love to do something special for her this Mother's Day to show her just how much I appreciate her. I would love to send her on a shopping spree so she can by something special for herself, she deserves it and so much more. Unfortunately, I can't afford to give her a shopping spree and thats were The Tyra Banks Show comes in. Tyra if you could help in anyway to make this Mother's Day extra special for my mom I would really appreciate it. I know that either way she will be happy cause this will be her first Mother's Day with her granddaughter but if I could give her something more that would just be icing on the cake.

dear tyra i love love your show... My mother has 3 kids including me and i love her to death... she never realy has a great mothers day... last year anound mothers day my mother found out she had tounge cancer. she had to have a long and painful sugury to remove half over her tounge and she had to be hooked up to alot of matchiens and had alot of medications she could not talk for about 3 mounths she had to write on a white bord.. she never realy got out of bed.. it was so bad my grandmother had to come down from florida and take care of my mother it got so bad that my grand mother went realy crazy and left my mom, while she still had a tube in her stomic and throat i fell so bad for her i realy want her to have a good mothers day ...

Hello I was wondering if you can help me out by giving me some advice on a Mothers Day gift for my mom. My mother has been through so much in life that I wanted to do something special for her and with your help maybe my dream will come true. You see my mother has 95% body burn from which she covered my brother and sister up in a house fire so that they wouldn't get burned. She protected them and took the heat for them. Now thats what you can say a mother will do anything for their children. Well she's proven just that. She lives by herself and cant work due to work injury. She helps me and my family out when were in need shell even take the food out her mouth to give to my daughter if she needed to. I love my mother very much and I want to give her something back that she will remember for the rest of her life. And Mother's Day is coming around and I want to do something different for her. i would really appreciate it if you could help me do somthing nice for my mother.
she has 6 kids including me living here in her house & including my little nephew.
she stresses about every thing & my sister helps her pay the bills in the house & somtimes she crys because she cant get us things for our birthday or for christmas & through iut the school year. I really miss my mom because she works at a gas station & is the manager & shes gone form atleast 3:00 in the afternoon tyll 12:30am. i get to see her for maybe if im lucky a half an hr.
