my name is jennifer.
i'm entering this for my mother, who is absoloutly the most amazing person.
i became pregnant at the age of 15, and despite the fact that I had barely started highschool, and the guy I was dating wasn't exactly prince charming she supported me more than i ever could have imagined.
i was so lucky to be graced with such an understanding loving mother.
the day after my son was born she quit her job to help me take care of him.
she'll run herself ragged for my son and I.
my son is now 9 months old.
i live with both my parents, and my mother is still staying home to help me take care of him.
she watches him, sometimes over night, so I can get a break from teen motherhood.
And she's planning on watching him when I attend college in the fall.
she has shown so much selflessness in the past year, it amazes me.
i hope to be as great of a mother as she is.

Dear Tyra,
This year I would love to give my mother a wonderful mother's day gift, but unfortunately I have been out of work for almost 5 months. I am a graduating senior and a single mother. Because I am in school and unemployed my mother has been helping me pay my bills and continually keeps me encouraged. I feel bad because I have no way to repay her for what she has done for me. Not only has she sacrificed her money, but also her health. In December of last year my brother was in a terrible car accident that put him in a coma, thankfully he came out of the coma and is doing better. But my mother sacrificed having a major surgery just to be there for my brother. Since then she has had here surgery, but had not had the chance to relax. She has had to travel back and forth to make sure that my brother is getting the therapy he needs. My mother is a selfless citizen and deserves a long over due vacation. Please help me make this true for my mother.

hi, tyra my name is veronica i just want to say that my mother is the most unbeliavable mother and father even do i still have my dad but it's like my dad is another son to her he had radiation and some other health problems and my mother thanks to her job my dad had an insurance but didn't cover all so she's paying for all the bills and she's always stressing out and i wish she had like a 1 day spa and relax. i'm scared to think that she can get sick on day she really needs to have a day for herself and not to think about others. sometimes me and her dont' agree in things and we argue alot i love her she's all to me.

hi tyra my name is jennifer im writing to ask you for help to fix my mothers teeth her name is terri she's 41yrs old and she is disabled she broke her back and she uses a walker to help her walk her bones are so bad there taking the calusim from her teeth and now she needs falsh teeth my mom is such a giving person she helps others before her self she lives with me im a single mom and she watches my daughter so that i can work she also helps my grandmother to my grandmother has lung cancer even though its hard for my mom because of the pain she has all the time she still helps us when she can my moms teeth are so bad she dont like to go out in public and she never smiles i just wont her to feel better about herself because she is a good person and she loves her family so im asking you to help fix my moms teeth so that she will take a picture with her grandkids with a big smile on her face so please find it in your heart to help my mom yours truly .jennifer

She works very hard to get the things she needs for her and her families life. She has struggled all through out in her life. She watches your show every night, and has always wanted to be a guest on your show, but is afraid of her self being seen by millions of people at one time.
