tyra, i just saw your show on labeling on clothes. it was very interesting and amazing. but what i wanted to tell you was, (idont mean to be mean, but your stomach looked big, i know you are not pregnant, but if you go back and look at that show you will see it for yourself. like i said i am a forever fan of yours. i know tv makes you look bigger.

Hi: Saw your show today about designer labels, etc., and just had to comment. I have always said that the "fashion industry" is a phony industry and that they have so brainwashed women that the designer stuff is so much better than others. But, there would no doubt not be some of the nice clothes, etc at Target, and other stores if the designers had not put the originals out there in the first place. Guess it is the chicken or egg thing. But, I still think that those women just need to remember that they make the clothes, not the other way around. Thanks.

Tyra i just wanted to let you know how much i admire you and how you are such an amazing role model to me and millions of other girls and women out there. My name is Alex, i am 19 years old, and I watched your show about designer brands today. i have been to several different countries, Guatemala in particular, 3 times. when you go there, you can't even brush your teeth with the water because it's so poisonous. and people are on your show saying even though they could not tell the difference, they want to pay the extra money for that water. i know you most likely won't even be reading this, but i am outraged that people in america are so spoiled that they won't drink water out of the tap. it won't hurt you!! and if you do think it tastes different, buy a purifyer! it doesn't cost alot of money and it saves plastic from water bottles and you'll use it forever. when you cook, you use water from the tap, so why not when you drink it? there were people i met in Guatemala, children, that didn't have ANY water to drink at the school they went to, so my family gives them $50 a month so they can have clean water. so maybe instead of people throwing away their money on designer bags and expensive water, maybe they should put that money to use where people actually need it and it could save a life. when you die, god won't care if you had a louis vuitton bag or if you drank italian water, he'll care that you made a difference in the life of a child and that you weren't selfish in your ways. i think that is something for everyone to think about and really take into consideration. i love you tyra, you're an amazing woman, i hope you read this, but if not, i hope it reaches other people too! This past week i went to atlanta ga. and i went to sighn up and be a model/actor!!! i went back to times and then made it!!! they wanted me as a runway/print model/model/actor/doing commercials!!! i was so exsided and my mom was too! till they asked for 1,788 dollars right when i made it! but we were confused because the secratary told us no money will be asked for cause they make 20% off of me for what i do!!! so we sighned up!! the place was named john casablancas!?! they were really in a nice office area right in the middle of alanta and the office looked okay? but it wasn't BAMB!!! but it was a good experience!! do you think it is a scam??

Hey Tyra you inspire millions of people all over the county by being a great role model and i cant say enoungh how much i enjoy the show im your biggest fan .

I saw the interview with Ms. Thomas on your show about label obsession - it was fascinating. The experiments that were performed with the different products really got to me. I am a professional beer and liquor expert and regularly do tastings with different people of different products. Often these tastings are "blind" and my clients are often shocked by the results! Even my boyfriend - who swears by this one, very expensive, type of vodka - was taken aback when he not only couldn't correctly identify which of my tasters was his vodka, but also found out he prefers my, less expensive, brand.

Good article - would like to have more detail but will read the book. Coming from Detroit we know 1st hand what impact there is at luxury brand manufacturing in less than optimal operations: Textiles and key desingers who charge top dollar at the expense of inhumaine working conditions should not be supported. I love high quality designer looks, but not at the expense of another's pain. I highly respect those designers who care about this as well. THIS should be the growing trend!!

P.S. My 12-year-old WORSHIPS you! By her own ambition, I am convinced she will be the next Top model when her time arrives!

I just wanted u to know, tyra, that i am a huge fan and that, I became an even bigger fan of yours when you wrote that book years ago and u showed yourself without makeup. I commend u for that because i think it took a lot of courage. It made me realize at a critical point in my life ( my teenage years ) that no one is perfect. I really did need that at that point in my life.
