Tyra, im 25 and i live in durham,NC. Opportunities to work in any venue of fashion other than basic retail is just not an option here. My dream is to become a shoe designer and i'm working on a portfolio as we speak. I've never been to school for fashion or anything its just a hobby that i now see can become so much more. I have some friends who have been to school for fashion design and they've gotten with seamstress' to have their designs brought to life. Well turns out its not so easy to find someone to make shoes for me. I've been on the internet and i've found manufaturers but i cant afford nor do i need mass quantities right now. I would love to have some prototypes made and eventually shop myself around as an independent designer. I don't know whats next for me or where this love of shoes is going to take me but i know that you can help me! Tyra please! Any suggestions?

It's a great idea, and people have come up with some wonderful ideas. I'm a huge fan of yours, and just happen to watch your show every day, and am an avid watcher of America's Next Top Model.
