I realize that you are a naturally blessed and gifted woman As a a 40 year woman that can pass for a much younger woman i think i can identify, but i think that girls looking at the end result forget or dont know that we had transition period that was not so pretty. my 12 year old thinks shes fat and has pimples and shes ugly. she looks at me and at my pictures when i was younger and pretty and she compares herself to me please do a show to remind girls that sometimes we all go through a period of adjustment and we are not beautiful or perfect all the time especially at 12.

Hey Tyra, i'm a 25 year old women and i am already getting a receding hair line. If i wear my hair down i can conceal it, but when it's up, in anyway i can't conceal it. I don't like hair in my face, so i don't want full bangs. I do have side bangs and they can sometimes conceal it, but i am a waitress and get too hot when i have hair near or on my face. Is there a way to cut your hair to make the receding hair line, look like it has baby hair; so that it looks fuller? Also, my hair is starting to thin and i like my hair full, i have cut it, teased it, curled it and put extensions in it, but when it really comes down to it, who has the time to do that everyday???....Please help me with any ideas Tyra!

Hello, First of all I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your show. Your such a wonderful genuine person, it truly shows, you express passion when you speak, and genuine empathy. That's why I enjoy your show, your "real" and you really do care! You made a comment today on your show about the world being a "shallow" place. It made me reaaly think. You're right. I wanted some advice from you if you wouldn't mind.
I am a 35 year old wife and mother of two boys. My boys are 4 & 6, they're my entire world. I work full time and we are probably considered a low to middle class family. I give up alot so my children can have what they need. By this I mean I've really let myself go. I've gained weight,( 5'4 and about 198lbs )(not sure I won't get on a scale) Imy children worry about me. Not to mention my 6 yr old has asked me to lose weight so I feel good he says. My clothes are outdated,I have NO STYLE!! my hair. Etc... I gained weight and lost my self esteem somewhere along the line,I don't know what happened to me and I don't know how to get it back or where to start. I feel so BLAH! I want to feel good about myself again, and more impotantly I want to be healthy. Everything is so expensive and costs money I don't have. How do you lose weight without joining an expensive gym, or how do you dress nice without spending a fortune. I dress comfortably and just try to make sure I match LOL, but I don't have a "style" or anything.It seems like at my size clothes cost more and aren't as attractive as smaller sized clothes.
Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
And by the way tell your mother she did a wonderful job raising you!! Too bad there aren't more like her in this day and age, raising children is a job in itself and it looks as if your mother mastered it.
The way you carry yourself, and the way you treat others, you are truly a remarkable person Tyra, even withthe "Fame" you haven't forgotten yourself, who you are. hey tyra, your makeup artist did a great job. i wounder if you can do that for my mom. she never does things for herself. she thinks about us before anyone......i just want her to know that i love her. but she thinks all we say is "want want want" i just want her to look gorgouse. because she is a great mom and i can see that she tries so hard to do everything. since she is the only one working and my dad cant work because he got into a motorcycle accident in 2005 its just be so hard to deal with everything ...i want her to feel specail..i love her so much.
