i know u wrote for answer from Tyra, but i been to where u at and believe me.. sor modeling you don't need any kind of schooling. either you have it or not. the best thing you can do is to practice your walk, when u walk home fro school on sidewalks.. hallways whenever you have the chance. you have to plan a diet that works for you.. eat alot of fruit and veggie. and lots and lots of nut. helps your skin give you that flowless air brush look. strawberry helps shine your hair..

and that's all i learned, and i figured if i share that with you maybe i can help you save sum buck. you see a young lady with a lot to offer and i just don't want you go trough that. it's not worth it. think about it... maybe if you wanted to be an actess maybe yes, schooling is needed. but for modeling all you need is to study your body... in front of mirror practice poses.. get some tear sheet and copy the pose, the facial expression.. looking trough trya's portfolio helps.. www.tryashow.com

ive been hopeing to become a model for many years. i did it when i was younger but then as i got older my family couldnt afford the costs and they couldnt take me anywhere beacuse of their jobs. I watch antm everytime its on and im hopeing to be on the show when i get older because i am only 13. My dad says 13 year old girls cant be modles they dont take them! Well whatever anyone says i still wanna become one!

Hey Carla, I too found these comments on the internet. People warned me about Tyra. But I was way to naive to believe it. These celebs are fake.
This really grosses me out.

So, I went to her show yesterday and I must say she IS beautiful and skinnier than she looks on TV. She didn't even say HI to the audience and had NO contact with us. When the cameras were on, she was so sweet and charming but once the cameras were off she had this stern face on and wouldn't talk to anyone. The same was with her guests...the camera was on..she was all sweet to them once the camera went off she IGNORED them once they tried to talk to her!!!

She is a fake! I went to her show yesterday and I was just crushed to see how different she is once the cameras are off. I felt so deceited and wanted to get up in the middle of the show and leave.

I too was on the Tyra show..the one that just aired about plastic surgery nightmares!! I agree...the WHOLE thing was scripted! My story was NOT told!!! I was BARELY shown on the show as well because of the "nice" factor!! People BELIEVE Tyra is all sweet and bubbley..friendly..caring..she is NONE OF THE ABOVE!!! SHe acted liked she HATED being there!! What a mistake it was to go on that show and look like a fool!!! I feel your pain!!

She never said ONE thing to the audience. When you watch the show, she looks like so much fun and as if she cares about her fans.I woke up at 4am to go to NY to see her, waited in the FREEZING studio basement 2hours. When the cameras were on she was the sweetest person ever..funny, interactive but when they were off she ignored everyone..even one of her guests. While the cams were on, she was hugging him, laughing, talking once the cams turned off she turned around and ignored him.
