Hello Ms.Banks I just want you to know that I'm proud of you and everything you've done for yourself. I wish I had that type of confidents. Well I just had a man baby 9 months ago and he is handsome enough to be a model. My only problem is everywhere I seem to go, to get him started they want me to pay them. Nicode'mus loves to take pictures and people asks me all the time to try. I live in chicago where do I go to give him a chance I was refused. This is not for me I just want to make sure that he has money for college and a life outside of childhood.

Hey Tyra!
I would like to start by telling you that my 2 daughters, Christian 15 and Alexis 11, and I adore you. We watch The Tyra Show and ANTM, and at times you (or the content of your show) is a topic of conversation. It is only because of this, and the fact that we all look up to you, that I bring this to your attention. Last Wednesday (April 2, 2008) we were watching ANTM. I was disgusted at the remarks made to Whitney by the fashion designer with the last name Rolland and the tone of voice the remarks were made with. It made me realize that your two shows seem to contradict themselves. On The Tyra Show your message is loud and clear on the subject of the importance of the self esteem of young girls. I admire and respect that immensely. Yet on ANTM, you used a designer that told Whitney she was too big for her designs and she would never use a girl her size. Whitney is a size 10! Not only do I believe that a size 10 is normal, but also attractive and healthy. Yet from this designer young girls watching heard how this size is unacceptable. I remember hearing years ago how the industry was going to change the 'norm' for the average model. It has yet to happen. Maybe if influential people such as yourself made a stand against these people who continually repress woman larger than their standard size 2, the 'norm' would change. I realize it would be a slow process and anyone involved would be taking a risk in doing so, but if you don't take risks and/or stand up for what's right, then what's the point? You already are a risk taker, Tyra, and I write this with no disrespect to you whatsoever. If I had the clout and financial status to start a movement against all designers who only cater to a size 2, I would be there in a heartbeat. My 15 year old is a size 0-4 (depending on the label) and still thinks she is fat. It is very unsettling to me. Although I tell her she is on the verge of being too small, she continues to believe otherwise. Help me help her and all the other young girls in the world who are plagued by this stereotype, Tyra. If anyone can do it, it is certainly you!
From a size 10 (and okay with that) mom

Hey Tyra! I am a 13 yr old girl whose dream is to model. I know you have heard many girls telling you that they want to model and its been their dream since they were little. Im different, I knew i wanted to model since i was 2 yrs old. Thats when I first saw your sports illustrated magazine with valeria mazza. I was still living in Argentina when this happened but I knew I wanted to be just like you. I saw the most common thing between us, the dark skin!!Yes, not all argenteanens are pale, and Im proud Im darker than the usual. Well, after I learned how to talk mature sentences my mom explained to me that you were a model. My mom never belived I really wanted to be a model, and still doesn't believe in me. Anyway, I followed you ever since I was five yrs. old and Im probably your biggest fan other than your mom. I moved to the US when I was seven and followed everything you did. I would watch your victoria secret fashion shows and would try to walk as fierce as you. In the third grade I started to observe my face, and my body and move it like a model would. Like you looked like when you were on tv. In school when no one was in the hallways I would turn my normal walk into this diva runway walk until I got in my classroom. I loved experementing with make up and drawing clothes and all the girly stuff. Although my childhood was devoted to modeling I had a very normal life. I loved sports, volleyball because I was tall. Hanging out with my friends etc. This countinued all through third and fourth grade. In fifth grade every Wednesday I would lock myself up in a room that had a tv in it and watch top model episodes. Top model was all I could think about in my life, I learned soo much since cycle one until this cycle 10 which Im very excited about watching every week. Although I could never stop thinking about top model and still can't stop I love getting perfect grades in school. I could die if I got a 90 % on a test!!Im in the 8th grade and Im about to graduate in June. The most Im going to miss from my middle school is my ELA teacher because she's in love with you just like me and where always practicing our runway walks with her and my group of friends. Her name is Emily, and my friends are, Amanda, Ashley, Erin, Amanda(2), and Ashley(2),and Nina my name is Jackie and I have the fiercest walk!haha. My friends and I just had a fashion show project for spanish class and I was fierce! We practiced 1 million times and I would make them watch your fashion show videos on youtube!! haha We had so much fun. And you'll see me in five years cuz as soon as I turn 18 Im runnning to top model auditions! Enough about me congrats on your BET honor, your talk show, and cycles of top model!I cried on that day that on your talk show you started crying because you still weren't married and stuff, cuz that might be me and Im scared that I love modeling so much that I'll forget about having a family=(Anyway i love modeling and you'll see me on cycle like 24! Don't you dare scare me like you scared Forunda on cycle 6 when you fainted(I was crying for like an hour and my mom had to yell at me to calm down), you also scared me this cycle when you faked your broken ankle. OMG! This is too long, I hope to see you sooner then when Im 18 and I will probably cry on the show cuz I know my family won't support me in this. Especially my mom, and grandma they want me to be a long lasting thing like a teacher but that's kinda boring! No fun photoshoots or fierce runway lessons from miss j!!! I love you sooooo much Tyra your the inspiration of my life, and without you there would be no Jackie!!!!

hey tyra,
I am fourteen and have been watching antm since cycle one. I would love to be on
your show as soon as i turn eighteen. Only their is one problem. I am only 5'5. I am not done growing yet but i do not think i will grow much taller. I read the application and saw that the requirement was 5'7. Is there anyway that if i was good enough(which i am) that i would be allowed on your show "Americas Next Top Model" it is my dream to model.

I'M a fan of your show and me and my mom watch America's Next Top Model every Wednesday. I wish that i was old enough to go on the show. I think that you should make an America's Next Teen Top Model if you do i would love to try out

AND IM YOUR BIGGEST FAN. YOU ARE TRULEY MY ROLE MODEL....!!!!!
All my life i wanted to become a model. Im 5'12 and im 18 years old. Im trying to get the basics of being a model.I watch your show and I can Just see myself up there doing that. Eventhough I've had chances to model with different agencies it didnt work out because they wanted tons of money. And i feel that I shouldnt have to pay to model to show my face or body everywhere. I wish I had the opportunity to model... that would change my life forever....Im going off to college soon in July. Im majoring in Fashion Designing. I was wondering if you had any advice for a young adult like myself going off to college on her own for the first time. I understand you left home at an early age,,how did you go day by day doing that. Missing your family not being able to see your friends anymore. What can i do to keep me motivated?? And follow my dreams???

Hi Tyra, My name is CHYNA im from huntsville,Al.
