P.S. To the comment by Anna Seifert, the healthy body weights have recently been revised, and the healthy range for your height is 160-180, so you are not overweight, darlin', and don't let anyone tell you that you are.

I just caught the episode on "fat-sploitation." I have to say I have always appreciated your being an advocate for bigger women, but I also must say there is a difference in being a big girl and being morbidly obese. I think people should be pointing out that these women, even though they may be happy with themselves, are not going to be around long enough to enjoy their lives. Most of them are going to die before they are senior citizens, or even before their mid-lives. As for the women with children, it is irresponsible to be that large if you can help it. Who is going to raise their kids when they have a heart attack or stroke before their kids are even out of highschool?

Tyra,
I want to comment on the "Fat-Sploitation" show. Although I do not agree with the pornography aspect of this show, I did enjoy the fact that all of the woman loved their bodies. I am five foot five inches and I weigh about 185. I have a really hard time with my body image and I admire these woman for their high self-esteem.

Hello,
I LOVE the Bustier style dress that Lisa wore on "The Good The Bad and The Ugly" segment. Does anyone know who the designer is?
Thanks

I can totally relate to the show on the good , the bad and the ugly. I have been on both sides of the fence being totally hot and then having children and gaining a bit of weight and feeling not so hot and feeling invisable. It is amasing the diverence in how people treat you. Even going to the mall without any make-up on I can see a difference in how I get treated. Why can't people stop judging.

Hey let me just start off by telling you all that I am a huge fan of the Tyra Show and America's Next Top Model. Recently I became a Vegetarian and I support the fashion industries use of fur. But found on a Animal Rights list that Covergirl tests there products on Animal's and its hard for me to understand why having the influence Tyra has she has not stopped the use of Animal Testing and went with a different product testing option? Love you Tyra.

Hello. I can somewhat relate with being jealous of someone because of how they look compared to yourself. I have twin sister who looks nothing like me but most seem to get along with her better. She seems like the favorite. 5'5", size 4, curly hair, and no fat on her whatsoever even though she eats cupcakes, ice cream, and other craziness, while I am size 8 at my smallest, 5'7" and have to work for the body I have. She would always go on about how I never got pimple outbreaks, but that seemed to not matter compared to all the attention she got compared to myself. I am pretty much over it but it still hurts to a degree for the reason that she still seems to be above me on the chain even if I am 5 mintues older (yeah, like that really matters).

I am responding to the good, bad, ugly show comments you made. When someone mentioned about girls going wild. You stated that the person who was responsible for the pictures stated "black girls won't do them." Then you Tyra commented "maybe they do it at home home." Why was that comment neccesary. Maybe black girls have a little more pride and dignity than to expose themselves. Why couldn't you have said something like that instead. We have enough black marks against us already. I believe there may be a few who will participate, but on a whole we don't. Just like you may not catch many black girls who would bare their lower extremeties like Brittany Spears for the most part black girls would rather not be without their underwear. I suppose you are shocked by that comment also...Lea
