I have polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance and I wish you could do a show on this condition. It is so difficult to lose weight with this condition and I'd like to learn what other women do to help with this battle.

While the weight is slowly coming off, I find that another frustration is that there are really no work-out clothes in regular stores that actually fit people who need to lose weight. ANYONE ELSE SEE THE IRONY IN THAT? All the work-out clothes are in tiny sizes...lovely for those folks who are already skinny, but doesn't anyone think that they need to make something besides large sweats and oversized T-shirts for those of us who really are working hard at fitness but who aren't (and never will be) a size 2?! It may seem a 'small' thing, but I'd like to look as good as is possible while I'm trying so hard to get fit/healthier. Morale booster, ya know?

Hello there Tyra,
I think you are so gorgeous! Whenever i have the time i always watch your shows, and i happen to catch you show about screw the scale. I liked it, but for some reason no matter how many times i hear that phrase " screw the scale" or all these diffrent things about weight and not to worry. I still have a problem with my weight.I can't seem to get it through my thick head that weight doesn't matter. Also, i love my mom and i know she loves me too, but sometimes i hate it when i need a ride home or to school, she tells me she's busy and for me to walk home and excercise cause i need to loose weight anyways. I know that she's just messing around but when i look at my reflection, i see nothing but THE WORD FAT WRITTEN ALL OVER ME...do you think you have a clue on how to help me to get over my weight problem?

Hey Tyra!
Oh my goodness, I love you! I watched your "screw the scale show", and I guess it helped. I'm not really concerned about my weight, I'm more concerned about my health. I am the right weight, and I guess the right size, I just don't eat or exercise right. I know this sounds silly, but I think I'm addicted to food. I am a bored, stress, lonely, and just all around eater.I have always dreamed of being a chef, which is why I love food so much, i am always cooking something, and then eating whatever I cook, which is of coarse never low in fat. Im still small now, but I am definetely getting bigger by the day. I never exercise, except for in the summer when I have swim team. I am scared that the habbits I am developing now is going to catch up to me when i get older and my matabolism slows down. I am 14 by the way, so its not like I can drive myself to the gym. Please email me if you have the time, I LOVE YOU!

Hi Tyra,
Your "screw the scale" show really did help me. I am 20 and weigh 240. I have very little self esteem, mainly because I was called fat my whole life. On top of that, I have a two year old daughter, who is perfect in every way, but I haven't lost any of the weight from her and my stomach sags...a lot. I always hate looking in the mirror at myself, it always makes me cry. Because of your show, I stopped looking at the scale. Instead, I measured myself around the waist arms, thighs and chest, and I lost 7 inches in two weeks. That show really helped me in a lot of ways. I still have a hard time looking in mirrors, but I do look, and I have noticed a big difference in how my stomach looks. I can now look at pictures of myself and see how pretty I am. I could never do that before. Ever since I started watching your shows, I do have higher self-esteem. Thank you so much. You really helped me see my life in a better way.

Hey Tyra,
I am 17 yrs old and i way 230 lbs. I have very low self esteem because of my weight and every time i am in public i almost like freak out because i am so self conscious about my weight. When i look in the mirror, i dont even see a person, all i see is a fat tub of lard and hurts me so bad to not be able to look at myself and be as confident as the other guys at my school. When i watch tv and see those celebrities that are all fit and have athletic bodies, it almost makes me depressed because i wish so bad that i could look like that. I've been trying to loose wait and so far i've lost 15 lbs. But it is so hard for me to stick to a diet without going off and eating something unhealthy for me. And its even harder for me to be physically active and start doing excercises. I have no modivation at my home from my mother and i am to embarassed to ask my friends for help. Please Tyra, if you have any suggestions for me to help me tackle this weight problem that i know many others are going through, please help in any way you can. Thank you so much.

Hi Tyra,
I loved your "screw the scale" show. I dvr'd it, I can't say how many times I have watched it. Sadly I am having my own battles with the scale. I am 5'5 and 165 lbs and unhappy about it. Luckily I have huge T's and a lot of A so many people can't tell. But I see myself without clothes and spend many nights in tears. I wear a size 12 which isn't bad but I prefer to have less inches to pinch. I am a 29 yr old, single parent in the military you would think I would be fit and trim. Not so much. Are there any dieting/health tips you would recommend?

Hi Tyra!
I'm a 35 year old girl from the Netherlands, Europe. We can see your show here too you know! I love it, just like I love ANTM. We're only a little later to see the shows, but that doesn't matter to me. I loved this episode: SCREW THE SCALE! But do YOU really think so, having been a topmodel and all? I think the message is very good, but for some people, not only girls, it would be better to watch the scale, or... even better I think, watch the way your jeans fit! If they're too tight, it's about time to excercise a little more and eat a little less.
I've got to say, I like you more now, than I did when you were modelling! Keep up the good work! Big hug, Nathalie
