hey. this story is awful. I hope i never come across such an abusive and immature human such as megan's bully. I am only 15 and I know not to do something like that. but i have seen things like this happen time and time again. Last year there was a guy who made a whole myspace account about a girl in our grade. he made fun of her and bullied her with his friends for weeks. She almost had to switch schools. things like this shouldn't happen. we are fighting in iraq to stop terrorism, yet we have it in the most potant form on the internet. Come on America, we can do better.

Its ridiculous how people will drive others to think they're worthless, how they're some scum of the earth that deserves this mental torture someone puts them through for whatever pathetic little reasons they may have. Maybe Megan actually thought the world would be better off without her because of some sick traitor, but her passing has just left a mother mourning pain greater than any sadistic joy someone could get from taking a life. I can't understand the victims that go on to bully when they know how bad it feels to be a victim. Its just utter selfishness on their part.

Dear Tyra: This segment was wonderful and a subject that should have been discussed a long time ago. My Granddaughter was bullied on the internet by a so-called friend at school and it was very stressful. Unfortunately the school took no action but thankfully she had her parents support and with that she pulled through. The situation is behind her and I am forwarding the Megan Pledge for her to take and to pass on to her friends.

Hi Tyra, thanks for your support in this effort. My daughter was bullied on line and thankfully we monitor well what our children do. It was a boy at her school so I printed it and brought it to our principles attention. After talking with my daughter, and having her permission, the boy was confronted as well as his parents. There were repercussions if anything was said to my daughter after the fact such as suspension. From that day on there has not been a problem. First, it is up to the parent to be involved and monitor their childs actions on the internet, then, do not be afraid to speak up and confront as your video states. I pray all kids are in a school that has a "No Bullying" policy and backs it up with action as ours does. God Bless You for your efforts and Megan and her family.

Hey Tyra my name is sharon and i can relate to this because im 11 and i have a youtube account me and my friends have pictures on there of us and people leave rude comments saying we are fat and ugly and we need to get a face replacement and im so tired of this happen to me and my friend.Tyra i look up to you and i want to be a model but all these "mean" people callin me ugly and fat make my dreams of becoming a model disapere and it makes me feel like im worthless and i should go no where in life...cyberbulling is horrible and it dose not only hurt the victum it hurts the person who is writing it.

Hi Tyra! Thanks for doing the show on cyber bullying. I can really relate to the show. I was a victim of bullying too. When I was schooling, I was bullied by classmates because of my weight and they will say very nasty things in my face. I was very miserable and I had no one to talk to about what happened in school. It had been 7 years and I've gotten over the pain, however, I can't trust anyone so easily anymore. I would like to share with people out there, that if you see a friend who is a victim of bully, stand by that person. The victim needs someone who can offer a sincere and friendly hand.
By the way, I watched, and am still watching your show back here in my hometown, Singapore.

hey tyra my name is teresa im 16 years old and i have been bullied probably all my life because of my weight ive been bullied on the web in my face any kind of bullying ive had it. in grade 8 thats when it actually hit me thats when i couldnt take it anymore i resorted to cutting myself.that went on until grade 9 when my parents found out. in grade nine after i stopped that i started the drugs weed,extasy,coke,K, i also started smoking. when i cut myself it was a way for the pain to get out like you didnt have to deal with it because it was coming out of your wrists.and the drugs i did them to forget anything that was going on i would get high drink then do some other drugs and nothing would bother me i forgot about everything that happend. at the begining of grade 10 i got into a school fight because of bullying and thats when my school said i think you should go to a counsellor. going to that counsellor was the greatest thing that could of happend if i was on the path i was a year ago i would of been dead. when teens talk about suicide you cant take it as a joke to many teens die to suidcide and i hope we can take it more seriously. i would love to be on your show but i live in canada but im still goin to watch it i just hope you can get my message out to adults thank you so much tyra
