Do You Heart Huckabee?
Mike Huckabee is determined. No one thought he’d be one of the last two republicans standing, but he is. And he says he won’t quit until he beats John McCain. The former Baptist minister stresses family values. How do you feel about Mike Huckabee?

I love Huckabee too, I'm still pulling for him no matter what. I wish people would open up and see that he means well and would do us good running for President. I know that there are quiet a few peolpe out there that have a problem with his views on certain things (ie: his beliefs), but Mike Huckabee still has what it takes to be in the White House reguardless; and he still has my vote too.

Mike is a wonderful man of God. He deserved more then he got. Iam sad to hear that he dropped out. Our country needs God 24, 7 not just when its convienate for whom ever. Iam sad to hear that we do NOT have a good man of God running anymore.
What is this world coming to?
I dont know who to vote for now! UGH!!!!!!
Tyra the show was great and so is Mike.
God bless

I definately heart Huckabee! Thanks so much Tyra for having him on your show! I think he is the only hope for America. Any of the other candidates will just mess things up even more. Thanks again Tyra!

I heart Huckabee, and I think Megan actually does too.
"It isnt about religion. it is about politics. and huckabee lost my vote when he confused the two" - Megan
Dear Megan,
If this is the real reason Huckabee lost your vote, I invite you to give it back to him because your premise is incorrect. But such a misconception is likely due to the media. Here are some quotes from Mike that might correct this misconception, taken from one of the few articles you can find about Huckabee (available at: http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/12/huckabee.mormons/index.html):
Huckabee, who has surged into first place in Iowa, also reiterated that he doesn't think a candidate's religion should be an issue in the campaign.
"I don't think his particular religion is a factor in whether or not people should vote [for Romney] or against him," he said. "I'd like to think that my being a Baptist isn't a factor in people voting for or against me."
"Gov. Huckabee has said consistently that he believes this campaign should center on a discussion of the important issues confronting our nation, and not focus on questions of religious belief," Charmaine Yoest, a senior adviser to the campaign, said in a statement. "He wants to assure persons of all faith traditions of his firm commitment to religious tolerance and freedom of worship."
I urge people to take a look at what huckabee really stands for, and not to be mislead by what is and is not said in the media!
Thanks again, Tyra, for allowing Mike the opportunity to share his heart!

Tyra, thanks for a GREAT show with MIKE HUCKABEE and what you did to show the American people that this country needs a leader of this caliber.
America needs integrity, strong values, and firm commentments in a leader.
I voted for John McCain, another great American, but after your show I was sorry that I did not vote for Mike Huchabee.
America, please wake up and vote for a cadiate with strong moral principals to be the President of ALL THE PEOPLE.
Tyra, thanks for the questions you asked Mike, it was this type of questioning that the American people needed to hear. Thanks for having him on you show. You both were GREAT.

Tyra,
Never blogged before, but I am so proud of you for being so open to all of the candidates and letting your audience decide for themselves. I heart Huckabee and you too! Will you ever tell us who your candidate is?

I dont heart Huckabee. he obviously does not want whats best for the republican party or he would bow out gracefully. instead he is just wasted everyones time because there is no way in hell a man who claims to be a good person but bashes any other religion but his own should be allowed to even continue in this race. it isnt about religion. it is about politics. and huckabee lost my vote when he confused the two

Huckabee needs to stop saying gay marriage, we want civil union or something like that

ALLLLL RIGHT! Now that's what I am talking about. Thanks Tyra!!! I have always liked you for being who you are all the time no matter what. I like that your producers took the chance to invite Mike Huckabee on the show. He is the one of the nicest people I know. I believe that this race should not be about different parties or color or even gender. But were the person stands on the issues. Every one should also be given a fair chance. I meet Mike when he came to Houston, He is someone I look forward to having as our president. He will stay strong and finish with the victory. Remember that a true Leader stands;no matter what the trial maybe. That is just what Mike Huckabee has done! He has not given in to the pressure of the people! I want that kind of leader to lead this country.
GOD BLESS AMERICA! THE LAND OF THE BRAVE!!!

TYRA,
YOUR APPROACH TO LIFE AND PEOPLE IS SUCH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. =)
IN A WORLD OF UPTIGHTNESS AND TRYING TO BE LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, YOU ARE SO REAL AND HEALTHY! YOU DON'T GET HUNG UP WITH THE FLAB THAT HANGS OVER YOUR BELT OR HOW YOU LOOK IN A BATHING SUIT.AND YOU ASK QUESTIONS THAT PEOPLE ARE THINKING BUT WOULD NEVER HAVE THE NERVE TO ASK! =) IT'S SO REFRESHING TO FIND SOMEONE WHO IS SO COMFORTABLE IN HER OWN SKIN!
I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THAT TO US - WE NEED IT!!!
AND I WANT TO THANK YOU THAT YOU GAVE OUR MOST PROMISING CANDIDATE, MIKE HUCKABEE, A FULL HOUR ON YOUR SHOW TO LET THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SEE WHAT A GENUINE, REAL, BREATH OF FRESH AIR HE WILL BE FOR THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA!
THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO NEED TO HEAR ABOUT THIS MAN! AND THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA HAS DONE THEIR BEST TO KEEP HIM OUT OF THE NEWS, TELL HALF TRUTHS TO GET PEOPLE TO THINK HE DOESN'T HAVE A CHANCE - BUT, TRUTH BE TOLD, WHEN PEOPLE HEAR FROM MIKE HUCKABEE, MINDS ARE MADE UP QUICK! THIS IS THE BEST GUY TO COME ALONG IN SUCH A LONG TIME!!! HE TRULY STANDS APART FROM THE REST OF THE CANDIDATES.
SO, TYRA, A VERY SINCERE THANKS FROM THE HEART FROM SO MANY OF US TO YOU, FOR THE VOICE YOU'VE GIVEN US BY HAVING MIKE HUCKABEE ON YOUR SHOW.
WE LOVE YOU TYRA =)

Dear Tyra: You are a class-act! You have done what most media hosts would not do and that is you gave Mike Huckabee the time to show his wit/humor, personality, likeability, fair-mindedness and all the characteristics that rolled up together, make him the most viable candidate to be our president! He has his own principles/values, yet he values all people and accepts and respects them all! That is why he is such a beloved fellow amongst those who respect and support him and particularly those of us who work hard for him "behind the scenes"! We call ourselves the Huckabee "Rangers". We know Mike Huckabee well and understand his views and his stand on the issues. We realize that our country is in need of someone like him...someone who doesn't give empty promises but comes to the table with concrete plans that can be accomplished if we and the lawmakers all work together! Mike Huckabee stands for the middle-class but particularly those who are down and out; people of ALL colors and ALL races! His former record as the governor of Arkansas stands as a shining example of the hard work he and the mostly Democratic Congress of Arkansas accomplished TOGETHER for the good of Arkansas! Just THINK what he could accomplish as our president! I hope that the people of those states voting on March 4th, look deep into their hearts and vote their conscience-for Mike! If we can deny McCain the needed 1191 delgates, then this decision will be up to the delegates at the Republican Convention! A long shot....yes,...but who ever would have thought MIKE HUCKABEE would become a household name and have earned a place in our hearts (those who love, respect, and support him)?! Not surprising now that we know him so well! Thanks again, Tyra! You are truly a beautiful rose amongst thorns!

Oh yes, I heart Huckabee, all the to the brokered convention and then the Whitehouse.

YES, I HEART HUCKABEE! TYRA, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING MIKE HUCKABEE ON YOUR SHOW. THE MEDIA HAS TREATED HIM SO UNFAIRLY AND FOR YOU TO DEDICATE YOUR ENTIRE SHOW TO HIM WAS SUCH A BLESSING! I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FROM MY HEART AND NOW YOU KNOW WHY WE HEART HUCKABEE! HE'S A GREAT GUY AND WE HOPE TO PUT HIM IN THE WHITEHOUSE TO RUN OUR COUNTRY IN A MORAL WAY FOR A CHANGE!! LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!

Dear Tyra,
I had to miss your show with Mike Huckabee, and hope it will be available to view online soon. I am a huge fan of his, and of yours.
Governor Huckabee's campaign is American grassroots politics at its very finest. Those of us who support his candidacy have worked long and hard, and we have asked our candidate to remain in this race in order to make our voices heard.
We are tired of "politics as usual", and the dictates of the GOP brass.
Mike Huckabee is the ONLY candidate with a tough stand on illegal immigration (and a thorough plan to address it), the candidate who stands for Second Amendment rights, the candidate who believes in American sovereignty, who believes in the sanctity of life, who has an excellent plan to rejuvenate this country's economy...and who never flip-flops on his principles. He's also the only one with true executive experience, as opposed to years of legislative experience as a Washington insider.
GO MIKE!

Mike Huckabee is a once in a lifetime politician for ANYONE to vote for, Democrat OR Republican! He's a great communicator (you wouldn't have to worry about him mispronouncing "nuclear", for instance, lol!) and a common sense problem solver. He really improved Arkansas after the Clintons left, for instance cutting taxes 94 times and stimulating the economy and balancing a budget every year and improving education ratings from 48th in the nation to 8th in the nation.
What couldn't he do if he were President! Imagine the economic stimulas which would occur if we abolished the IRS!!!! Then April 15th would be just another spring day, not something to be afraid of.
Mr. Huckabee is working hard to earn your vote while McCain rests in Arizona before Super Tuesday, thinking he's got it all sewn up. He'll be in for a surprise on March 4th, that's for sure!

THANK YOU, Tyra Banks, for giving America the chance to see Gov. Huckabee as a real person..like us.Yes, he is funny...I love humor, too, BUT he has goverened a state for two terms and as governor balanced the books and turned the state of Arkansas completely around after Gov. Clinton left it a mess. Read Huckabee's book, "Character Makes A Difference." (1997..current 2007 edition)
THANK YOU, Tyra Banks, for being FAIR, GRACIOUS nad BALANCED! I thought you were very sweet and appreciated your 60-minute show so much! Gov. Huckabee has my vote! Pro-Life, No Amnesty...fix the borders.., FAIR TAX(no more IRS)...go to a "brokered convention" and win like Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy and Dwight D. Eisenhower!Gov. Huckabee wants to be the President to ALL the people.

Tyra,
Of course I heart Huckabee! I am so glad to finally see someone running for president that is a true conservative, He is such a great speaker as well. When I watched the debates I was in awe of how much better he spoke than his competition. I never cared about politics before he ran for President. I am very glad you had him on your show. I think the media has not been giving him a fair chance. They are trying to end his campaign and he isn't finished. If I have learned anything about Politics this time around, I have learned not to trust our media!

Thank you for the fairness and respect you showed him. He already had my vote, but now you do too. You just picked up another viewer in TX. Thanks! :)
