First of all i have to say that i did not see this particular show but i actually do have Lead Poisoning. I got it when i was about 5yrs old while i was on vacation in Puerto Rico. I found it very interesting that Swarovski crystals contain 33% lead. At my current job i actually sell designer sunglasses, and some of the ones made my Christian Dior have swarovski crystals on the temples of the sunglasses. I can actually find out from the company if there are any risks involved with these crystals. Thanks a lot for that...I had no idea!!!!!!

I am a jewelry maker that uses Swarovski Lead Crystal Beads in my jewelry. These beads contain 33% lead in them to make them sparkly. Am I putting myself and my customers at risk of lead poisoning by using them? Or are they ok since they aren't eating the beads hopefully?
