Hey, I love the look of the room, very classy! but im a really broke College student who is going to be living in a small room with concrete walls next year. I need some ideas on how I can make my room look stylish without having to take out another loan. lol Any ideas anyone? Tyra do you have any tips I could use or would you be interested in doing an annual student dorm makeover show? I would love to be a pilot.

Your show is great, the choice of topics and the way you handle them is just perfect. You are real and can relate to people that way. You give real meaning and worth to the modelling industry. I like the make over shows a lot, be it home or the individuals. i think makeovers give one a fresh perspective and just rejuvinates. I wish you could come a do a show in SAfrica some day, i'd really like to meet you.

I really loved this show, at the end of your program u said 2 email u if I wanted a makeover for my place. Presently, I have a basement apt., I guess u can tell where this is going already! I need ur help a.s.a.p. I am recovering from surgery on both feet, so I spent a lot of time resting and elevating my feet at home. This wuz the time that I have noticed how TERRIBLE my place is. The first room is the laundry room/gym/kitchen/boiler room. I never explained this 2 anyone before n it sounds worse than I thought! The 2nd room iz my bedroom/living room/ dining area/study. Last but not least, the third room contains my closet/ the refrigertor/ the clothes line and trap door. No stove, jus' a George Forman grill n a skillet n no bathroom. Tyra please decorate/help/transform my place, PLEEEEEEASE!

I just got a computor and wanted to write you. I love you show, but need to make a "correction". At one point on the site, you are stated as being an inspirition to young women. While that is true, may I suggest you are and inspiritation to ALL women, regardless of size, age, race, releigon, ect. You are a strong, beautiful, and prefectly sized woman. Your show has given me so much courage and a much needed self-esteem boost that I can't explain it. It's so great to have a ground-based person on TV who speaks from the heart, does't hold punches, and who is basically "real." May you contine your strong work in this world. What was the color and brand of paint that was used in your bathroom makeover? It looked like a coffee color. Is there somewere on your site where I can see the bathroom?

On the Ron decorator show where they redid your house what color and brand paint was used in the bathroom. It looked sort of a light coffee color. Can I see this bathroom somewere on your site?

I loved the show yesterday. I'm a big home decorating freak. I don't have a house but all my time, money and energy is tied up into "When I get my house". I loved the wall treatments, especially the silver ceiling. I would appreciate it if you could share how that was done, I also liked the upholstered look in your office, the stencil, (any chance of getting a copy of it) and of course the paneling. I thought it was wonderful what you did for the fifteen year old girl who lost her mom. It is nice to know there is a person out there like you.

I lost my mother when I was nineteen of cancer and it has been a long struggling road and I became an instant mom for younger brothers. I am one of eight kids.

My best in the world has had cancer,she is a single mother and trying to support her two children through college. She lost her job at the same time I did and is back to work at a temporary job with no insurance. Tyra my heart is breaking for her. I know she is hurting and wish I could help.I worry that her cancer will come back because of all the stress and want her to know how far she has come. I want her place to be the unique person she is.

If you could help her Tyra that would be wonderful.

I had watched your show and couldn't believe the one room.It was so touching how you stepped in and finished the room that the mother wanted to redo for her daughter but never got to. I know that life isn't always fair and some times things change and it's so redo anything because it was the last thing that they had wanted to do.
I'm a 22 year old mother of 2 and know that first hand! I just lost my common-law partnert of 6 1/2 years. And I think that I'm ready to redon our home. We live in a trailer and everything has been the same sence we moved in and he had planned on doing lots of work this fall on it, but now that he is gone, I think that we really need to do something! We miss him so much and his memories will always live on but he would have wanted me to fix up the place as planned. And after watching your show it has shown me that even if they aren't going to be there everyday you can still have them there with all the little treasures that they have collected in there life time. I hope I can find it in me to make it as beautiful as we had planned.

Me and my fiance moved to a nice apartment, we rent but, we got some furniture from craigslist, and I have tried my best to make it look good, but still have boxes everywhere and we dont have space to put anything, no storage and we came from a house with 2 bedrooms and bigger living room etc. Still I wish I could just get my own house and decorate it the way I want it is one of my dreams.
