Hi Tyra;
I was watching your singlesville episode and the fact that the "provider" implied that a size 12 is fat offended me a lot. I am a size 12 and I'm short, so I agree that I am fat. However, it bothered me that I am smaller than him and because of my size, I wouldn't be good enough for him. He came off as an arrogant jerk.I don't care how he meant it, bacause he still said it.

I just had to leave a comment after reading how many people wrote that they thought the show was funny. I think that what people really don't understand is that this is a very serious issue. Just like the people in the singlesville there are people out there that have to deal with steriotypes every single day. It hurts so much to see the negativity and ignorance going on in the world today. Why can't everyone just be grown up and mature about these situations? Sure we all have our own opinions and we all see things differently but when it boils down to it the thing we all have in common is that we are all HUMAN BEINGS and at the end of the day we should all treat each other with RESPECT!!!!!!

i think the (gay lady) was very funny. she has her head on straight and she knows what she wants. she has big dreams and in order for her to fulfill her dreams, she has to be strong. i think she is a strong black woman and she will be successful in life.

I really enjoyed the show also but I don't like the fact that the plus size girl was the stereotypical frumpy quiet and reserved. I myself am a beautiful plus size woman and I have never had a problem getting attention from guys if you are confident and carry yourself in a way that demands attention then trust me you will get it. Its all about accentuating the positive because I'm pretty damn fly if I must say so myself.

I think the "single mom" gives us other single moms look bad. I'm a single mom that is... well single. And sex is the last thing I want in a relationship. I want someone on the emotional level, and spiratual level, someone to talk to and hang out with, an adult. It's hard enough for single mom's to date... I think she should have chose her words better. I'm a sinlge mom with style, I love fashion and keep up with it, and sometimes might get hit on...but once I say I have a kid, their moods change, like it a disease. I don't need a dad for my son, I've been raising him for 10years on my own, I don't need help now.
On a different note.... I love ANTM. But I don't like that you have to be a certain height. You should see me do the cat walk.... I would blow you and your contestants away and I'm only 5'3". My family and friends have me do it all the time... and I'm always in heels, so could show them how to walk in heels. =)

Tyra's show opens many opportunities for people to say how they feel and share the challenges that they have come upon. She gives great advise and exploits the things that need to be opened up to our society. I love going home after a hard day of work knowing that I can sit and watch Tyra. I think this show just allows people to see the types of stereotypes are out there these days in regards to dating. I personally was attracted to "playboy" and "pervert" just on terms of attraction, but at the same time, I would most likely give them a chance and find out for myself if they are who they were labled as before judging. Judging people is a big thing out there these days...judging a book by its cover isn't just a cliche, I feel that it really is going on everyday and it gets worse as years keep going by and with every generation it gets more intense.
