Tyra, I am considering putting my children in modeling. I am constantly being told by family and friends how perfect they would be and how photogenic they both are. I am only apprehensive because of my lack of knowledge. I am looking for some kind of guidance. A place I can find out the do's and don'ts of child modeling. Many of the places I have spoken with had said yes we would love to see you kids, just send us a picture and money.(which I ,in response, say thanks I'll call you back) I just would like to know what is expected in cost and what is normal and what red flags should I be looking out for. This is a questio. I recently got envolved with lady who has a modeling ageny but she does not have a building I have given her about $1000.And she saids there is still more needed. Money for something call a comp card, $ for meeting a agent I paid $600 for photos $700 for a workshop. We meet at at Starbucks coffee shop to give $$. We also met a bank in the front inside to do photos on the outside. Like I said she says there's more things that I need. But she did tell me I can't be a runway model because I'm too short but i can do other things. My parents don't trust her but I feel kinda ok, I want this badly. I also want to be a fashion designer.

Hi Tyra. My name is Brittney, I am 14 years old. It has been my dream for so long to be a model. I would absolutly LOVE to be on your show( America's Next Top Model). I watch it all the time. I know all the girls from every season. After an episode of 'America's Next Top Model' I go into my bedroom and practice my walk, and differnt poses. I think I have what it takes to be a model, except I have horrible teeth and my mom can't afford to get me braces. Its deffinatly holding me back :(. Maybe some day though :). This is not just about modeling for me... this is A WAY OF LIFE! I am so serious about this. I know I can be America's Next Top Model, and it would allow me to become a role model to young girls with Sickle Cell Anemia (a disease that I have carried since birth). Children like us are often told what we can't do and I have over come that time and time again. When I was younger I was almost killed in a hospital because the nurse thought it would be better off since Sickle Cell patients just end up, "hooked on drugs." I'm over people trying to stop me from doing things and I'm tired of seeing young girls in the hospital giving up on life because they are told they "can't." Being a model is something that I have dreamed of my whole life. I tried out for ANTM cycle 11 in Tallahassee Florida. I am waiting for my call back... I know your just busy. LOL. But I'm waiting still!! I AM AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!! I promise I can work it for the camera and I am a very sweet girl. PLEASE PICK ME!!
