Ask A Top Model
Are you counting down the days until the 10th cycle of America’s Next Top Model debuts? Do you know the name of every girl and details of each challenge? What would you ask the former competitors if you had the chance to find out what really happened behind the scenes?

Hello Tyra,
I wanted to ask you a question I'm sure everyone asks you all the time, but I've been trying to look for modeling agencies but I'm not sure where to start looking. I live in a small town and well I kind of live far from the city. I love to be in pictures and I've always dreamed of becoming a model. In high school I took a Fashion Modeling class and took great pictures, I would like to follow my dreams of becoming a model. I've got great pictures on my myspace and I would love to share them with you. Hope your week goes great love watching the show keep doing a good job!

Hey Miss Tyra, I have been watching you since I don't know how long. I've seen your biography, and i totally respect the relationship you and your mom have because me and my mom have a love-hate relationship and its good to see a mother and daugther get along sooo good. People have always told me i look like you and i should be a model. And I always wanted to, but I never thought I would be good enough. So, I wanted you to see a picture of me and tell me if you think I could pursue that career or not because I know you have an eye for model talent and your feedback would be extremely important to me. You seem very honest and genuine, but yet straight uo and I appreciate that. So please advise me. Thank you and I love you

Hey Tyra,
I love watching your show ANTM and i don't even know how many times i have watched the re-runs of older cycle episodes! It has always been a dream of mine to become an Elite model and i told myself i would audition for the show as soon as i turned 18. I will be turning 17 next week and i know i have another year, but i have been searching for info on when and where new cycle auditions will be held and have been unsuccessful. Could you please help me on what site i can find this information? I would greatly appreciate it.
You are an inspiration for every aspiring model out there and i love your great attitude and determination!
thanks,
kasey

Hi tyra i have question for u. Who is your favorite winner of top model and do u have any regrets as far as any past winners of top model?

Dear Tyra
I love to watch America's Next Top Model and my dream is to be on that show when I'm 18. I love to model and that is all i think about!!You're my favorite model...I think you can pose so beautifully!!!I'm always practicing poses, looks, and faces that you tell them to do on the show. I will be the fiercest one out there and I am ready for anything when it comes to modeling. If I ever became a model I would help my mom and my little brother and sister with the money. You're my role model because you are smart and you make the right decisions in what to do and I watch your show everyday and I learn from them too. If I ever met you I would probably start crying because of how emotional it would be for me. I'm 15 and 5 ft. and 5in. and I have been wanting to model since I was 9. I am 145 lb. and I am determined to be a model.
your fan,
Brittni :o)

Hey Tyra I want to first start off by saying that I love u so and everyone else on the show. Including the people behind the carmera because u all really do a great good with antm. But I just wanted to ask you for one favor, and that is to have all the winners of top model on the show to see what they r doing and to have them face off in a photo and runway challenge.

Dear Tyra,(Please Read)
Iknow it's alot to ask that you read every comment on this page. I'm sure you recieve hundreds and hundred's everyday. And I thank you for taking the time to read mine. My name is Christina...but everyone calls me Nina:)I am eighteen years old, a senior in highschool, I work a part time job, and currently no longer live at home. I've gone through so much since I was a young child...But now I have dreams that even the stars can't reach. I lost my mother when I was seven to a horrible disease of epilepsy. Since that moment I was determined to fufill a promise I made to my mother only shortly after she died. I would grow up and learn how I could impact the deaf community all around me. My overall goal is to become a missionary in China or Italy teaching American Sign Language to deaf children. But this is only part of my dream. I also write and perform my own music...and dream of one day recording a CD. I have also wanted to model ever since I watched your show and saw that Models come in ALL shapes and Sizes and not just the typical blonde hair blue eyed Play Boy Bunny models. My family has never had money so these dreams have always been just that...drreams. I'm not asking to be on your show, although that would be a magical experience, I'm just asking for some advice...on where to go from here! I know you probably have so many more important things to worry about so I'll let you get back to them. I truly do thank God everyday for putting people like you into the lives of those you help. You may sometimes feel that your passions and dreams have only turned into a job, but to the ones who look up to you...your the inspiration that gives them the strength to live through one more day. Thank you for your continual blessings in the lives of those in need. I will continue to pray for you and your family:) I hope to hear from you!!!
P.S. If this is simply a secretary hired to go through these blogs, like alot of times is, please find it in your heart to make sure that Tyra get's this comment. Thank you so much for your time!!! God Bless
Forever Loved,

Dear Tyra,
I would like to get on America's Next Top Model because i have had this feeling for so long how do i get there? what does it take tyra for a youth of 26years to get a grip on her dream before the years slip away from her.? what does it take tyra for a gal who lives down in the jungles of Africa from a small town in a third world country in East Africa (Uganda) to whom life has been very unfair to get one dream come true. what must i do to get on America's Next Top Models. Because tyra i dont have any penny to my name, i only have an education no inheritance, am an only with 19 step brothers and sisters, grew up with a single mother and 6 half brothers and sisters, struggled throughout my school life looking for school fees and thou with an upper class degree haven't got something to gladly call employment. Generally life hasnt been fair. that to reach where i am today qualifies me as a survivor who deserves an award.Tyra please grant me the opportunity to smile genuinely, to laugh with my heart at peace.

Dear Tyra,
My names Christina and ive hated life since the beginning.I've worked through millions of heart problems and ive had surgeries and ER visits nonstop through my childhood. Not like my childhood is done, but I'm finally excepting some of my beauty.Probably cause of the confidence when dudes hit on me, but whatever.I hate it though, I'm the emo of my school and I'm not all that skinny to be a model.I love taking pictures though. And I work on my walk for fun ^_^. I don't really have any chance on doing anything like getting on "America's Next Top Model" or anything...i doubt I'll live to get to be able to go on the show. And even by my age I'd be a plus size model.I love to express my feelings through my pictures whatever they may be. Emo, hyper or just plain crazy. I love just being me in the pictures. But why should it matter when the only person who will ever see my pictures is me...
need help...if you could..thanks -_-

Dear Tyra,
My lips have turned a blackish color and I've never smoked. My gums have been slightly black since I was little. Have you ever seen this in the modeling industry? I am a black teen female and this is a big concern of mine. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ABOUT WHAT I SHOULD DO!

Tyra my daughter is an aspiring model that's her passion at age 11 I want her to understand that to be a model she has to work hard in every aspect of her life she loves top model and I do too! I don't want to crush her dream but I don't want her to lose focus on the big picture. She see's the young ladies on top model and she always compares herself to them and me being a mother I encourage her to be herself. Literally I think she wants to be bre. She models very well and has went to audition. Her thing is she gets angry if it's not perfect and thats how she loses out on contracts. She's her worst enemy. Is there an agency for young girls mainly and how could I get in contact with them living in a small town in North Carolina it's hard to have contacts. Also how can my daughter contact Bre maybe if she hears words of encouragement from her then she will know it's alright to be herself. Second question I have a 18 month old do you think that's to young for her to do print work or commercials everyone tells me she could be a model and they all want me to put her in pageants. I'm skeptical on that issue. I know it can be a harsh world out there and I don't want either one of my children hurt.

Hi Tyra,
Do you think a girl that is hearing impaired can have a successful career as a model? My friend is hearing impaired and she does awesome in her photo shoots but we wonder will her being not able to hear interfere with her future? Thanks, Love ya
