my name leah and i have been trying to get in the industries of modeling. I'm tired and worn down from rejection over again, and spending alot of money into it. Not to long ago i had an audition and it went good i went back for my 2nd interview and they loved me. Well what they don't tell you is that they want you to pay out of pocket to get notice. Tyra im a struggling young lady and could not afford it. My heart drop, that when the interview was over i ran to the bathroom and cry in the stall. I thought i had an oppertunity. But your voice pop up in my head that i should not have to pay to be a model. I remeber you saying that, it still sticks with me till this day. I want this soooo badly and i know i have the poetenial and the will power. It's just having the support and the push to get it. Now i know there is thousand of young ladies trying to get you to listen to there story as well. But i please just tell me what can i do to get my opertunitie of just having just one chance to shine!

I reside in the DC Metro area and I'm constanlty coming in contact with beautiful teens/kids/adults with "natural" beauty whom I feel would be ideal models. A good way to start out is to look for local opportunities to get your foot on the ladder, try local Fashion Stores that may have a project coming up! First I just wanted to say you most likely wont reply because you have so many comments, but I’ll still give it a try. You are my number one role model. I'm 16 and I will be 17 May 23 and I’ve always struggled with my weight issues. Everyone tells me that I'm beautiful and I try to believe them but it’s hard, when you don’t feel beautiful. I would love to have a makeover; my friends and family would be really surprised to find out about my deep depression about my weight. My friends sometimes envy me because of my curves and they say how pretty I am, but when I see you and other beautiful women I wish I could look like you. You are so amazing. My dream was to be a runway model, and try out for America's Next Top Model, but I'm scared of not feeling comfortable with my body, and Tyra I just want to thank you so much for having Whitney succeed in cycle 10 of America's Next Top Model because it proves that not all models have to be small or a size zero. I probably would never make it because of my height, but that is my dream, is to feel beautiful and have confidence. I also have really good grades and high expectations for college, but my inspiration and desire is in modeling, but my fear is not being good enough.
