I think that you are probably the most gorgeous person walking on the earth and it doesn't matter what your hair looks like you would be a 10. And anyway, I like it. My hair actually kind of looks like yours only a little bit shorter, and girl, we are bringing bangs back! You can keep that hair style as long as you want to because it looks fabulous.

I watched your show yesterday about gaydar. It was an interesting show I do have to say. I saw that on your webpage the backstage secret was about Dr. Lippa keeping his own sexual orientation personal. Is he afraid that his own studies contradict his sexual orientation? Anyways. I have a son myself, I wish to keep his age personal. I have to say that after watching your show I looked at his hair whorl. It does happen to be counter clockwise. Which makes me wonder how accurate the studies that Dr. Lippa have done hold true. I think though my biggest fear is that if it is true he will be gay. I have absolutely no problem if that his sexual orientation is of the same sex. My biggest fear is my husband. I dont think he would accept him for who he is (in the future). I have gay members in my family and I have no problem at all with them. My husband has no problem with them either, I think its if his own son is a homomsexual. No matter what his sexual orientation is, I will love him just the same. But I still wonder what his orientation will be. But I have years to wait to know. I guess I will be wondering for a while. Hey tyra....the episode that im about to pour my heart into is an old one but being a christian what humiliated when the lady and her daughters started bashing gay's and saying God was to show his anger upon them...i need to say this, God forgives everyone and anyone! it really got me mad when they only focused on their kind of life style! what about the drunkers! the killers! the "normal people"! in the bible it says God condemns drunkeness not only gays and lesbians....and i have to say this because that mom and her daughters will not inherite the Kingdom of Our God..if they keep on condemning people, no one has the right to condemn its against God and its not of God...Thank you Tyra for bringing them on ur show..it really made me realize that..some evil people use God's name just to speak their mind! Why this matters?

Some people keep asking why this matters. I don't normally watch the tyra show but I got up early just for this episode. Every guy I have a crush on turns out gay. So I was interested in things that might help me fine tune my gaydar. Of course gaydar isn't that important to a girl who has a straight guy but for me it helped out...kinda. yeah every guy who turned out to be gay on this show was one that I liked. darn.

Gaydar may also help weed out the gay guys who lead girls on by pretending to be straight.

I just finished watching this "Gaydar" episode, and I couldn't help but to wonder if the "Gaydar" tips only relate to men, or if there is some way to determine whether a woman is gay with certain traits or not.

Dr. Lippa's research truly ranks with the carnival side-show. In yuor performance you made two presentation mistakes. One was why didn't you present the historical background of this type of research? The other mistake is to discuss why this even matters.

Historically this type of research was used to point out criminals before they could inflict harm on society. At one time it was argued that men with square hands were mostly likely to murder some one. Once research was done this was proven to be not true. Also, it was generally argued that men you had a dangling Y chromosone were extremely likely to commit crimes. Unfortunately both of these conclusions were only drawm from prison samples. Once true research was done they were boht found incorrect.

To ask why some one is gay is a question we are no where near understanding. Dr. Lippa's research is probably the result of coincidences. If 20% of gay men have counter-clockwise hair whorl, that means between 16 to 20 men out of 1,000 men would have it and be gay. That number is not very large number. If 8% of straight men have this hair whorl of these 1,000, that's about 7 men. If we think of the millions of men in the United States, there isn't really much difference between the two percentages. In certain Balkan areas, this hair whorl is almost universal.

I would like to point out that much of this scientific research was started by the Germans in the late 1800s and it exploded during the Naizi period as German's were trying to prove their superiority.

As we are finding out more about the human genome and collecting genetic samples of people in the United States, we are finding that African Americans who have an ansectry here that dates back to before 1900 are frequently more closely linked to white European Americans than to many Africans. Therfor, I could ask you, "Why aren't you white?"

Science is often full of biggotry, historionics and false premises. Dr. Lippa's science is not unbiased. I would like to have seen his results without the audience's influence. It would have been very interesting if he had met with the gentlemen prior to the show. Made his finding. Then, woithout telling the audience gone through the exercise with them.

This show on Gaydar was truly bizarre. Frequently, I believe that wondering why some one is gay is the straight world's attempt to become voyeurs or to establish their own superiority. I've rarely seen it result in anything else.

Tyra, I am a 59 year old recently retired man. I found your show in my area of Columbus, Ohio is on at 2:00 PM. I must say I knew of you but not all that much. I loved your work in "Love Stinks" but really did not follow you too much. Since watching your show I have become a huge fan. You are just adorable!
