i kind of like the old look better but i do understand the more conservative look for her profession. they could have given her another color. something a little softer. i would not want someone caring for me with red nails,but thats only my opinion.

I honestly would like to say, that this lady was a too soilder, when it came to removing her NAILS! I'm only 20 and I had gel nails on for about 6 years and I absolutely love them, I recently took them off to relax my nails, as well as for an educational purpose! MY COMPUTER COURSE. Now I can type alot faster. I just wanted to say that I was never brave enough to do it until I new that in the fashion world fake is OUT! I think her nails look BRILLIANT and Chic, good job TYRA GERRUUU!

For a woman her age, she should know better, then again not everyone is born with class. Her nails look so much better short.

I am so happy that you cut those nails! Underneath looked dirty, and being a nurses aid, the germs that were caught under there... I can only imagine! I know Tyra is too nice to say it, but when the nail lady said everyone loves it, it isn't that people think it looks good, they think it is weird, and people like to look at weird things. That is why we have so many Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museums.

I occasionally wear acrylic, and active length nails look professional and sexy. A person can do everything with nails that length.

The after shot looks alot better. I use to wear acrylic nails and the damanged my nails so bad I have ridges on them now. I would never do that again, and tell the younger women about it every chance I get.

I think short manicured nails look nice and clean. Long fake nails with designs and horrible nail color is just a way women ask for attention.

Yes, the after picture looks much better and professional as well. I believe when you are working in a public place, you need to represent. It's ridiculous to have your nails done all the time. Once a month is okay but come on now everyday...i kno sumone who gets em done all the that is nasty..isnt that bad for your nails..

Oh, so much better! Although, I tend to wear my nails (natural) a bit longer because I feel they help to elongate my short fingers.
