EVERYONE OMG TYRA IS GETTING MARRIED!

I am soo happy for you Tyra!!This is what I found

Looks like a congratulations is in order. MediaTakeOut.com has exclusively learned that over the weekend talk show host Tyra Banks and her longtime boyfriend John Utendahl got engaged.

According to one of Tyra's family members, John popped the question during a private dinner at the 52 year old investment banker's NY apartment. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "John didn't make a big spectacle ... they were having dinner like they often do and he just got down on one knee and proposed."

Tyra immediately said yes and the two called friends and family to let them in on the good news. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "I haven't seen the ring but I've heard it's beautiful - the diamond is more than 10 carats."

No word yet on when the two plan on tying the knot. The marriage will be Tyra's first and John's second.

Tyra I want to wish you the best of luck! much love xoxoxo

Tyras getting married!! OMG :):)

Hi Tyra,
First off, I love your show and ANTM. I also think that you are a great person. I do have two questions for you. My first one is that I have notice that modeling does not include women of all beauty, why is that? I am a short woman that is only 5'0, and wear the unmetionable device called glasses. I feel that I am beautiful and would like to see more women that represent me on the runway. Are there designers out there that have women like myself in their shows. I love Alek Wek and I appreciate that you have introduce her in your show. She has left a great impression on me. My next question is why can't people of all races and status be represented in American and European fashion? I am half American Indian and yet no one is out there that I can relate to. Sorry one more question. How can we help change the fashion industry ideals to include all areas and forms of beauty so that our children can develop a positive self image of themselves.
Thank You,
Meggin

I love the show, its the only show i watch faithfully everyday! I love Tyra!! I have a question for anyone who can answer... where can you get Alek's handbags? Today's episode had the cutest bags I've ever seen, not to mention what an amazing woman she is. I wanna check them out, anyone know? email me please! Thanks!! :D

Tyra, you are so crazy! I love watching your show, especially today. That was my first time ever hearing Alek speak. I love her person, she is a beautiful black sister. It was nice to hear her speak and to hear how she has her own business. It is always good to hear our black people doing so well, light skin or dark skin. It helps me keep my head up and continue to do the best that I can. Thanks Tyra.
Love ya,
JoAnn

Hi Tyra,
I just want to thank you for such a wonderful show. I am in my mid 30s and I am dark skin. I use to hate my color and wish I was light like all my sibilings, but I am proud and love my dark skin now. I know this show will inspire young dark skin girls and help them realize that they are beautiful. Thanks again

Hey Tyra...Love the shows and you....may God bless you through out your life journey

I say there is no lack of black models. What about the asian models? Asian in general aren't mainstream. Runway shows usually only have one or two asian models. Why aren't there any asian models?

I am glad to see this show about the lack of Black Models. I watch America's Next Top Model and as soon as the Black Models are selected out, i'm gone. It seems that there is so much anti towards the Black contestants and especially from Jay. why is this? Do we still not find ourselves right for the part? Why do we ask so much more from our Black participants than of the other participants? Just the way I have noticed it.

Hi Tyra i'm from England and in my mid 30's. I have a skin condition called hyperpigmentation which leaves black marks all over my skin. I will not let anyone see me without my foundation. I also have very dry skin on the backs of my thighs which look like small black spots my Doctor says just to exfoliate but this does not work and to top it of I have eczema. All through my life this has been a big burden leaving me very depressed. I can not go swimming, holidays etc nothing that shows my legs because of the black marks. I have looked around for years but have not found anything that works. If you have any ideas or suggestions I would love to hear them.
Help Help Help.
Many thanks Sam.

Hey Tyra
I love your show and I have loved you since you first started modeling. I try not to miss your show, but when I go back to work I'll have to have someone tape it for me. I just had a baby, so I am very busy, but you are an outstanding person whom I relate with. I am not black, but I love all kinds of people from different cultures. One day we will educate the ignorant. You should have Michael Jordan on your show.

GOD IS GOOD HEY MS. TYRA I THINK YOUR SHOW WAS REALLY GREAT TODAY IT MADE ME SHED A FEW TEARS BUT I THINK WOMEN OF COLOR ARE GOD'S GIFT YOU CAN NOT EXPRESS THIS ENOUGH BELIVE IN YOURSELF AND ALWAYS KEEP GOD FIRST YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS GREATSHOW!!!!!!!

I love your show Tyra. Your an inspiration to us women. You have raised the awareness of people about certain issues that are most of the time taken for granted. I especially liked the episode with the Tyra's teensville.I think it is important that parents should be aware of how their children think and how they identify themselves in the society; because it will dictate what the world's future will be. Thanks a lot and more power to you tyra!

hi tyra, i was watching the show on thursday and was overwhelmed with emotions, because i am dark skin woman who experienced civil war as a young girl. when i moved to Canada, i had to leave my parents behind because we didnt have enough money for everyone to move to Canada. after about 10 yrs my brother sponsered my parents to come to Canada but my father passed away due to lack of health care. this story gives me hope that i can possible feel good one day and not have those nighmares i have about the war and my dad. one good thing happened is that my mother was able to reach Canada about two years ago, so thanks for talking for the people who are not recognized as human beings sometimes....you are a great host..keep it up

Tyra I hope I'm not bothering you or something. I just wanna make a comment of the scene from the "alleged" racist show "Desperate Housewives". I am deeply hurt about what the producers of the show and the network which is ABC has to do with the racist remarks on that scene. I am also horrified with the fact that Teri Hatcher which we all know, a good actress wouldn't have said it. Even though it's a fictional character and such a fictional story, I am not really happy with what it conveyed. It talked about the med schools here in the Philippines, which they put hidden but derogatory remarks in the part of Filipinos working in the medical industry both here in our country and in the UNITED STATES... I am disappointed with what this whole ordeal is about. I admit that we have issues but have you AMERICANS put in your mind to avoid racial discrimination at all cost. We Filipinos are kind-hearted. We don't discriminate nor devalue anyone in this world. We have gone through worst in our country and it's impossible for us to cope such remark from a mere TV show that is hungry for ratings that to some point use racial remarks to get the pot of gold.

Hey Tyra...
i watched your show this afternoon and i loved it!
Models are getting WAY to skinni and i agree that they are givving girls the wrong impression! i cryed when you said that people were calling you fat or when they said that u had gained weight! that was so sad!
i think that you look HOT!
i love you so much!
xx
love steph!

Hi Tyra,

I really love your show. It really help boost the self esteem of many beautiful black women. Your show give good tips to women on how to love themselves. Keep up the good work. I always wanted to be a model however, I was shot down by my height but it still hasn't stopped me from being a DIVA. I get all kinds of pointers from you and I have never even met you personally, you would be amazed at all of the things you have taught me. Thanks:)

There both very gorgeous. I like Aleks' skin tone, it's very pretty. We need more gorgeous black models on the runway instead of the same ol same ol. IT'S BOOOORIIING!!!! I don't understnad who wouldn't want to book beautiful black models like these two.

hey tyra i have a question for u i have a question for u well when i shave my armpitts its leaves it black how can i get it off i want my armpitts nice and smooth clear not beign shy raising my arms up can u help me please

I know this episode hasn’t air yet in New York but all I have to say is….. It’s the truth about BLACK MODELS are disappearing.

I’ve been networking to different modeling agencies in one week. I went to a total of fifth teen open calls. Ten of those in one week; this is very tiring. And when I go to these open calls, they look at me, then look at my pictures, go to their computer or a book then come back to me and say I’m beautiful but I’m not in their market at this time or I’m more of a commercial look. Then some of these agencies give me a list of other agencies to go to and I get the same damn respond.

Yes it’s very frustrating to pursue my modeling career. Sometimes I say to myself, what my noise is not pointy enough. I even went to this place (on October 1st) which is not a modeling agency but claim they have contacts with agent who’s looking for my model type. I went there and he wanted me to pay $100 for some professional photos. I smiled and told him no. I question him about the agent he’s working with, “why he can’t see me in person and if I get work you get a cut for referring me”.

Boy….. did he get made when I explain to him if I had the look you would invest in me. (Keep in mind I already knew this before Tyra came out with her show. Sorry Tyra no offense I did my research). The man couldn’t even look me in my eyes with his respond, “Tyra given people wrong information about the modeling industry you do need professional photos to get work these days”. Yes he did nock Ms. Tyra Banks about her saying that on her show several times. Yes he did bad mouth her. And I didn’t like that. You bad mouthing a sister that works hard for what she has...nah that don’t fly with me. So I politely ask for my snap shots back and left. While I was in the elevator I rip his card up.

So I’m glad you’re airing this show to let white America know we are going back to Beverly Johnson days. It’s not right. I would like to say to these agencies and these designers that are calling these agencies to hire a particular model….”WAKE THE F UP!!!! PEOPLE ON THE STREETS WANT TO SEE DIVERSITY IN THESE MAGAZINES AND ON THE RUNWAY.” Remember, we the working class buys these products with cash not credit.
