i recently found some cute chanel bags at a local flea market.. i was wondering how can you know they are fake??? my computer don't have speakers so i can't watch the show online.. please get back to me... THANX.. :)

I agree that these designers should get the full credit for their work, and therefore there shouldn't be fake ones floating around everywhere. I mean, if I were a designer I would be highly upset to see fake replicas of my design everywhere. But I also believe that, if these purses were made available to a greater majority of AVERAGE people, and not only the "rich and famous," there wouldn't be such a demand for fake ones. I don't agree with designers making their purses sell for "2000" dollars, which is a LOW estimate because I know some run into the tens-of-thousands. I just think that, if you don't want people to feel the urge to get fake ones, don't make the real ones the price of a new car.

In the segment of 'How to spot a fake purse' the last purse shown was introduced as a new designer. It sounded like she said it was an 'On & Off' purse. Does anyone know the name of this designer?

Can you please do a show on "OUTRAGEOUS" wigs and pull that one you seem to adore off your head. I mean really- you and Beyonce are the reason young women aren't happy with themselves- you're a true disgrace.
Oh and those knock-offs were a joke---- Head to ChinaTown in NYC and see a lady named ming- you won't be able to tell the difference---TRUST!!

I read through the comments and I am embarrassed by the ignorance of the women in our country. Someone "kinda likes the fake Chanel bag"? You mean you like misrepresenting yourself through a bag that is cheap and falling apart? a stolen copyright? The fact that you are supporting crime by buying them? That they came from a sweatshop by children who are beaten for not working fast enough? That 911 was funded through the sale of counterfeit bags? and often drugs come neatly packed in the bags? Know that the sale of replica bags, is illegal, the next time your ego says you need to "like the replica bag" to defend your inability to afford an authentic bag. "Stupid enough to spend $2,000 on a bag" has never seen or felt the quality and excellent craftsmanship of these incredible pieces of art. Not that I practice materialism, but I do stay within my price range, whatever that may be, while asking myself why do I feel this way about...? Know thyself!

I'm very disappointed with the fake bags that you used to make the comparison with. Those are poorly made fakes. Anyone can easily spot it without the experts have to show us. You should show us the best quality fakes that we realy have to watch out from. Then, we will gain knowledge how to spot the fake, because those good quality fakes is the one that rob us. I once saw a fake LV, even the LV Boutique said it's real. I didn't buy it but it realy impressed me.

It is so frustrating to see such ignorance from women who post comments saying there is nothing wrong with carrying a fake bag. Hello? I missed your show but I hope you covered the HARMFUL part of counterfeiting. Not only is carrying a fake TACKY & TASTELESS it is ILLEGAL. It affects the US economy, increases the price CONSIDERABLY on authentic goods (to combat the enormous monetary losses due to counterfeiting) and many times results in child abuse (children are used to make fakes and are sometimes beaten when they make a mistake or do not produce fast enough). Counterfeiting also funds terrorism. I get so tired of uninformed, ignorant people saying fakes are okay. Even if you do not have the facts, you should at least have the sense to know that DECEIT is never good. (Carrying a fake to fool someone is called deceit). Get educated and GET REAL (and buy ONLY authentic, LEGAL goods!) Or buy what fits your BUDGET! Carrying a Fossil is better than a FAKE!!)
