Tyra-
I just got put off work due to illness for a minute OK a couple of months, and I wanted to say"YOU MAKE MY DAY". I've watched your show through out the year even re-runs but being off work I'm always watching. You Interveiw with Obama, Melissa and god knows everyone else....you make women and young women feel good about themselves..SO WHAT .....Right! That is the best campaign, I even wear a shirt around town that says"so what" because I believe. It's not that cute red tube top but it makes the statement!! All women should believe that they are built beautiful and that we are strong at home and in the workforce.
Tyra Thank you for being the role model you are. You are fun, exciting, compassionate, and very enspiring. You will always be successfull if you follow this journey you are on!

Hi there. Well i just thought i might share my story. Im only 14 and i have a really strong mum. She was first diagnosed with Diabeties, because it was genetic and she only weight 56 kgs! it wasnt fair. And then she got all the high cholestoral, high blood pressure, low sugar levels, this all made her quit her career of becoming a police officer. Then she got cancer, it was so hard, i cried and cried, but i didnt let her know, i acted like and still do, like she doesent have it, i dont want to give her pity, because i think she doesent want it. I just hope my mum gets rid of it and can live until shes a 100! lol.

Hi Tyra,
I just came from one of your tapings, and I just wanted to say I think you are fabulous! You were so genuine and such a gracious host. I use to wonder if you were as cool as you appeared while interviewing and it turns out that you are 'cooler'. I am curious about what birth sign are you. i asked a few members of your staff...one thought you might be a scorpio, another said emphatically that you were a gemini and one of the workers there said that you just had a birthday in August...go figure. I don't think it would hurt if they knew some interesting "facts" about you that they could share if asked, what do you think? Anyway I came to sign-up to receive e-mail from you that you do write yourself...and ended up finding this first. I am now a committed fan. Please keep 'keeping it real' and being true to you...one day you can explain to us how you manage to do it.
Be at Peace!

Tyra,
This is the first time I watched your show, and the reason I tuned in was due to Melissa Etheridge being on the show. I was pleasently surprised that you are not just another beautiful person on the outside, but are a complete, candid lady who asks penetrating questions. And Melissa, wonderful interview and performance. I will run out and get your album, but would sure love to figure out how to get the autographed album!! Cannot figure out how to do that since there is no blog set up for that yet!!
Hope your other shows are as good as this one---Maybe I will be able to tune in again.

Hi Tyra,
I was just watching Melissa Etheridge on your show. We love Melissa in our house.
My partner and I have triplets. We work opposite shifts and barely see each other. If we get to sit and hold hands, it's a major coupe.
I can imagine their life right now. Twins. Hopefully, they can get sleep and keep their sanity.
Keep up the good work. We enjoy your show (on Tivo). You seem to be a very strong positive person.
Thanks,
Anna

hey Tyra!
My name is Monica and this is my first time posting a comment. I saw your show today and i must admit i thought it was wonderful. i think Mellisa is a very strong woman who has fought through so much. i admire her strength and herself as a person! I especially think that it is wonderful that she has such a loving wife at her side to guide her through life.. who will be there no matter what struggles life throws in the way! i was reading one of the previous comment that was left and it made me mad that a person could write that.I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but you cant say that God isnt in someones life just because they are gay!!!
On the contrary i think Mellisa has already found her God and i believe that they have a strong bond with one another. She found him as she was struggling with breast cancer; he saw one of his child struggling and opened his help to her. And it was also him who put her wife in her path! So i think its pointless to say she hasn't found god! He has blessed her with so much and by being gay doesnt make her less of a person... She lives her life with so much truth that i admire... if shes gay, straight, bi... it doesn't matter!!! She is a wonderful person and i wish people could just stop looking at her sexuality!! Her as well as Ellen have done so much good to many people! And i applaud them and the courage they had to come out and say they are gay!! Tyra i also think you are also a strong woman to sit here and read some of the things people write. God is with you just like he is with everyone.... im with a girl myself and God made me who i am if he didn't like the fact im in love with this wonderful girl, then why put her in my life!! Well i think thats all i had to say... take care!!

Hey Tyra!
I loved the show with Melissa. It really spoked to me. I also remembered how much a friend of mine suffered when he was just 11 years old. Just like the second guest in the show, his siter had one of the most severe casses of Breast cancer, unfortunately she passed away the same year she was diagnosed. My grandmother also contracted cancer, she fought hard and got healthy. I remember the day I found out, I was in the kitchen preparing my dinner when my mom came in talking on the phone, I heard her say "my mother has cancer?" at that moment I felt my heart drop to the floor. The day after I promised to my mother that when my hair was long enough I would cut my hair and donate it to locks for love. I actually did write an oath in my journal. I cut my hair last year and my sister and my cousin followed my lead and also cut their hair to donate. Were sending it soon. Also I think there is nothing wrong with being gay, one of my best buds,Tony, he is so much fun and so cool and he's happy with his sexuality. Thanks for making shows to help people learn and express their feelings. Laters Mony

Hey Tyra,
I havent posted in a while. Sorry any way... I think that your guest today is very confused. Specialy every thing she said about spirituality thought it may have sounded great and beautiful and it is PARTIAL true but from waht i understand she was practicaly saying We are "gods" we can control this planet. We are not creators we are the created! God is our creator. She is a very empowering person but i do not agree with her views and as for being gay not that im hating or anything but i pray that she and her wife see the truth about God and that he reveals himself to them. And you too Tyra. I pray you see the Lord you are so blessed and God was the one who blessed you with your talents and powers i pray that you will see the truth and draw close to your creator Love you so much tyra!

Hi Tyra.
My name is Tosha. I am 22 years old.
You seem to be such a wonderful person. You are so real. I watch you show all the time I try not to miss you show but there is a couple of occasions where I have to miss it. SORRY! Even my mom watches your show. My mom just had a hip replacement and she is only 40 years young, but she watches dancing with the stars and Mark Cuban had a hip replacement right before he went on the show. so that is a mega insperation for her. WOW! I got off subject. whoops! You show is great. I can not even tell which show was my favorite I like them all. I tell all my friends and family that when my foot heals (i broke it not to long ago) i am going to save my money, just so i can fly to New York and sit in the Audience of your shows.
much love,
Tosha

I just want to thank you for being so real and honest. I enjoy watching your show but more than that, I just really love you! I am a 39 year old mother of three and a first time grandma of a beautiful 7 week old boy. I have been through so much in my life and really relate to some of your shows. I have weight issues and your "So What" campaign has shown me there is more to me than my weight, although I am working hard at trying to get it back off. Funny how it is not as easy to get the weight off as it was to get it on. There is so much I could say, I would be typing all day. So I will just leave it at this, Thank You!

Tyra,
My girlfriend and I watch your show everyday. On Monday Oct 10th we were especially inspired when Melissa Etheridge was your guest. She is so open about all aspects of her life from her sexuality, breast cancer, relationships, and coming out. Every viewer should have found something about this particular show that inspired them. We have been together for 10yrs and and I came out to my family that many years ago and they shut the door. When Melissa said,"be true" those simple words were awsomely inspiring. Thanks for a great show!
P.S. would like to see the cast of the L word on your show.
Thanks again Delisa

Hi Tyra.
As always, you're show is so much fun and has a heart, too.
When I saw Melissa Etheridge, I was reminded of my friend who has breast cancer.
I was just wondering if you can help me with one thing. She just had a surgery for her breast cancer. She did it in Michigan 'coz she has family there but she's coming back here in Minnesota this month. I want to hold a welcome party for her with close friends but I don't know where to begin and how to do it. I'm not even sure if she'd like the idea 'coz she's not the "party girl" type and not a lot of people know about it too. Do you think I should do it and if yes, how? Thank you and more power to your show.

Tyra, I love your show. I just turned 32 in September but I saw your show with everyone wearing their ages on their shirts. I was afraid of getting older, now I realize it's just a number. I am now thankful for every year that I have and everyday that I wake up. I have two sons, one is ten yrs. and my other son just turned one yr. on Oct. 5th. I am overwhelmed with it all and not one of their dads to help me. But, you have empowered me to realize that a single mother can make it in this world and I am not alone. I also saw Melissa Ethridge on the show today. I love her new song and she inspires me with her courage, also. With your help I know feel like a Fierce woman who can take on the world and do anything that I want to do in my life. Thank you so much Tyra. Love ya, C I also have a'lot of so whats.

Tyra,
Enjoyed your show. Melissa Etheridge was an inspiration and a very beautiful light, her spirit shines. We all have a purpose for being here on this planet and trying to get the message of..."love one another" and respect each other's differences. Great Job!

Tyra,
The show on 10/10/07 was so inspiring. Melissa's "super fan" just melted my heart. She was so sweet and had an amazing personality and energy. She should definately be a motivational speaker, speaking to women who are fighting breast cancer.
In case she reads this : "Super Fan", you are amazing,no,wait,AMAZING!

Hi Tyra:
How are you doing? I just saw the show this morning with Melissa Etheridge. It was a great episode as usual. I admit I am not a big fan of Melissa Etheridge's music but I admire her strength and courage. I love her spirituality and deep outlook on life. The most powerful and heartwarming moment of the show was when that lady in the audience had the courage to come out on national TV. I think more artist and their work should inspire people in a positive way. We really need to get back to that. Great Job Tyra!!! Take care my Queen.
Love Jason

Today a fellow cancer survivor showed the world it can be beat. I too survived Breast Cancer. At the time I woudered was I going to die and when. Could I cram a lifetime in a short amount of time on this earth. I was told by nurses and doctors there was a light at the end of the tunnel. I laughed it off thinking yeah whatever your not going through this I am. But you kow there was. And after each chemo the light got closer until it was bright and warm to my face.I am a PROUD Breast Cancer survivor.I dont get sick with another year is on my age. I relish it because I shouldnt be here.My BC was not hormone related and was a very agressive and fast growing cancer. I found it on July 10, 2003. Was the size of a marble. By the 20th when I got a biopcy it was 3.5 cm. I was so scared but opted for the mastectomy. I dont regret it. I am alive. That mattered most to me. Lliving to see all 4 of my grandchildren grow up. Thank you for having Melissa on your show. God Bless you.

Dear Tyra:
I used to be a regular fan of your's watching your show everyday, but I can't do that anymore because I have to go to work. Anyway, I want to let you know that on the 10/8/07, was the best show I've seen with Martina Mcbride. Tyra that song, Anyway, has been my inspiration for so long; when I'm at work I try to play it for atleast 2 minutes eventhough I know it's not appropiate at work. I cried somuch while watching the show on Monday because I didn't know that one song can mean somuch to a person. Thank you Tyra for bringing her on the show when I had the day off from work. I am a single mother with a fourteen year old son and I hope that one day I get to meet you and Martina Mcbride. When I'm playing her music at work my coworker's tell me that I'm old and why do I like Country music. I'm not old, I am 31 yrs old, but I happen to know and have been through almost every word of what she is singing about so it's like I have a testimony to what she is singing about. I could say alot more but you don't have time to read too long comments. Thanks again for having her on your show and may God continue to bless you on the wonderful job you're doing. Take care.
