Dear Tyra I'm so happy you had a real artist with pure talent on your show. Please don't invite untalented singers that cause you problems anymore. Melissa is a true inspiration and I thank you for raising awareness on cancer. I like your shows that are helpful like this one. I don't like the shows that have any link to negativity at all. You are a positive woman with people who look up to you and love you. Tyra don't ever in your life lower youreslf & your inspiring positive image because of other people. You reach so many people. Focus your show on all those people that u help not any personal nonesense with these young girls. Don't ever let other people's actions affect you because you are better then that and stuff like that will turn away your millions of fans. Keep your show light funny and warm because you cheer up a lot of people's days. You don't know what issues we all go through & then feel better by tuning into you. You can never compete with negative people because they will always win because they live in negativity and live to get a reaction out of others. The best way to deal with negative people is to ignore them. When you pay them any attention they have power over you and you'll find yourself consumed in their negativity. Girl g'on with your fierce self and that beautiful body of yours. You keep those funny shows coming. Whoever doesn't have a sense of humor can tune out! Keep having good guest like Melissa Etheridge and don't you pay no one else no mind. Don't give them the victory of even trying to have anything to say about them on your show baby girl. You making money, you're changing lives thats the key! Above all you let God walk u through any problem. I'm 62 years old, I'm fierce and boy do i love me some Tyra Banks baby.

Melissa Etheridge is a truely inspiration woman. I felt such happiness while watching this episode. I have realized so much about peace of mind. I do have a boyfriend who i love but i have always thought something was weird about me because i have a somewhat attraction to girls. You and Melissa have shown me that it's ok to feel this way and have made me so much more comfortable with realizing who I am

Hey! I watched the show with Melissa Etheridge and it made me that much MORE EXCITED to keep doing what I'm doing, the kid's are doing, and our community!!! I am a director of a gym childcare and we have started a competition for Breast Cancer Awareness! If we collect 500 yoplait yogurt lids, the owner of the club will dye his hair PINK for a day!!! SO!!! This show just made me realize even more, why we do these fun things for organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation!!!

To the beautiful Tyra Banks,
I happened to catch part of your show Wednesday, October 10, 2007, during your interview with Melissa Etheridge. I apologize for not being able to watch it in its entirety since the information she shared with your viewers was topic of great importance to me. You see, over the years, and as a result of numerous mammograms, I have been diagnosed with cysts in both breasts and have been very disappointed with the advice and lack of treatment I have received from doctors in the DC and MD area. The cysts (more than one) in my left breast have grown from what was once described as a size of "peas" to the size of a lemon and a walnut. My left breast leaks like running water whenever I eat a chocolate candy bar, such as a Hershey with Almonds or consume too much caffeine. Mind you, biopsies were performed on both breasts in which my doctor "butchered" my right breast. So as you can see, I am very upset and dissatisfied with the doctors in my area. Could you please provide me with the medical facility or doctor that Ms. Etheridge sought for treatment. My mom is a breast cancer survivor, however, I am trying to keep my concerns a secret because I do not want to alarm her. My mother is very strong, but when it comes to her children, she worries too much. I am in desperate need of some advice and referral to the best physicians out there for women. I have another very serious health issue, but will only share that personally with you and/or the doctor or OB/GYN that you recommend. This is a serious cry for help. I am not worried so much about the cysts because my belief and faith in the Lord is strong. He will bring me through this! Take care.

Tyra,
I watched your show with Melissa Ethridge yesterday. What a blessing she was. What a blessing you are for having her on your show. She is such an inspiration. As a gay father, I teach my daughter to love people and accept them for who they are. I also feel that it is important for the general public to see us as normal every day people trying to get through this life just like anyone else (we all live, laugh, love, hurt and cry the same). That is a positive step toward acceptance. Thank you for being a great example for my daughter and for the world. You Rock!

I must get out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Yet again they have chosen to re-air a safer episode of your show than the one for today with Melissa Etheridge, whom I admire. For now, I will have to wait until next Wednesday to watch it on Oxygen...UGH!!!
