Tyra, not only are you a successful business woman, you're beautiful, smart, and oh my goodness down to earth...you remind me of ME! You're silly...just like me! I have an amazing story...let me sum it up...my older sister passed away from a disease I live with. (Lupus) In June of this year, I almost died from complications...By the grace of God and many prayers, I survived, however, I'm 29, on dialysis, taking chemo and are struggling each day for a normal day. Hi Tyra...

I wanted to share with you a couple of things. First, you told your viewers that if we wanted to share any memories we had of impolite things that happened, to share them. I have a great one that not only shows that some people don't think before they do things, but also shows the difference between my mom and dad.

Let me explain. I went to Junior High at a school called "Mountain View Junior High," and when I'd come in late or sick, my mother would always use the greeting, "Dear Mt. View Jr. High School Staff". One day, my mother wasn't available to write my note, so my dad had to do it for me. He asked me how my mom normally started the notes, and I told him what she normally wrote down. He gave me an exasperated look (as if to say, "No way am I going to spend all that time writing that out!") and then quickly scribbled out the note and handed it back to me. When I arrived at school, I looked down at the note, curious as to how my dad had shortened the greeting. His greeting read, "DEAR SCHOOL PEOPLE". Needless to say, the office ladies gave me quite a few odd looks when they realized that my very polite, formal letter-writing mom had married my somewhat rude, to-the-point dad. :)

Also, I wanted to ask you about ANTM. I know that you now have people that are considered "Plus size" (plus sized models are normal sized people, as I've found) but I was wondering if you ever plan on doing anything for your vertically challenged sisters. There are plenty of beautiful, quirky, interesting women out there that are very photogenic but not tall enough to be on your show. Do you plan on revolutionizing modeling in a way that allows people of all heights (not just body types) to have their chance to be fierce?

I loved the show... but what do you do when your guy/lady is a perfect gentleman/lady out in public and a pig at home? And my favorite, Don't ask the question is you cant handle the answer... yes it is black and white there is no gray. "gray" is either half truth or a white lie/half false if you really LOVE someone and them you tell them the truth and they accept it/ color it with rose colored glasses or not.

Hey Tyra. Instead of bringing some teenybopper musician on the show (since kids should be in school not at home watching), how about you get Scott Grimes to perform. Hes an amazing singer (pretty much the only musician i know that sounds better live then on the record). He plays the guitar and the piano and is a fantastic actor. Hes a real man whos funny, smart, talented and oh so cute. He lets his fans into his personal life (by making home videos with his production partner Dave Harris, and posts them on Myspace). I would love to see him on the show.

I have been an Construction Office Manager for more than 25 years, I would like to start a new career in the medical field that’s where the jobs are plentiful here in Virginia . Hello Tyra,

All of the fashion tips which were presented on today's show were most enjoyable and should be very easy to incorporate (at least some of them) into my wardrobe. I just recently turned 30 and I'll be graduating this weekend with my BSBM degree (Woo-Hoo!!!!), and I need to elevate my style. Despite now being in my 30's, I don't look a day over 18 and while a have a few select pieces in my wardrobe which at touch of maturity and sophistication, I can definitely kick it up a notch. Not only will winning some of these great pieces add the necessary panache to my wardrobe, but they will do so without stressing my finances. :-) I also want to thank you for being such an inspiration, it's been a long time coming, but I can now proudly say that I accept and love myself for the woman I was, the woman I am and the woman continue to evolve into as I experience more that life has to offer. I know I already wrote something earlier but I did notice a lot of Canadians writing you and I think that it is really great. I am 23 years old and a Canadian Immigrant and my family and I have had some interesting experiences as immigrants in a new country with a new language. I think if you maybe took into consideration about doing a show on families that have immigrated to North America and how some people take advantage of the fact that they don't speak English. I have had to translate a lot for my parents during my teen years and saw how people treated my parents because they thought they didn't understand. I understood and I wish I spoke up more than I did because it's demeaning. Thanx!

well im 17 and i have always been really skinny and find my self really unatractive people tell me that im pretty all the time...i just dont see it! nothing looks right on me cause im so skinny. I wanted to let you know that I was talking to my 14 year old daughter the other day. She's a great kid, but she's been having lots of insecurity issues lately. I've found out several things like anorexia, bulemia, cutting among few that's she had done in the past year. She says it’s over, but obviously didn’t feel she could talk to me when it was happening. I asked her who she respects or considers a role model/mentor or who she felt she could talk to about things. She responded without a blink “Tyra” and “Niki” (her cousin).
Now if she could only learn from your shows and stop some of the teenage madness, I'd be a happy camper. She’s not fat, she’s actually quite skinny. I'd like to ask for your prayers to help her work through these issues and learn to build up her confidence.

First, I'm so glad to see someone bringing attention to good manners. This keeping it real thing somehow has been equated to bad manners being okay, however if it's just the way you conduct yourself all the time, then "you are" keeping it real. Second the woman who, thinks that it's okay to make a public display of herself because things are not going the way she wants, is clearly self-absorbed. If she is getting poor service or poor food she can quietly ask for the manager, but she may not realize she's making people around her uncomfortable too, and she doesn't have that right.

I was just watching your show on table manners and just manners in general and you mentioned to write you with any embarrassing stories. Well mine happened when my boyfriend and I took his parents to Romania to meet my grandparents that raised me until I moved to Canada. It was very important that they meet because we'll be spending the rest of lives together. My grandparents are very formal and extremely well mannered and I was raised the same way. My grandmother prepared an excuisite 5 course meal for everyone. The table was set beautifully and we got off to a good start. Romanians make this really sweet alcoholic drink at home that gets you drunk so fast if you don't pace yourself and drink a little too much. Well that is what happened to me. I was so happy that everyone was getting along and my grandparents liked my bf's parents that I didn't pay attention at how much of that stuff I was drinking. Tyra, I got so drunk without realizing how bad I was until I excused myself from the table once and I heard something loud come from behind me. I was soo embarrassed I cannot begin to describe it. I thought my grandparents would for sure kick me out of the house. But they just laughed because I guess everyone else got drunk! I will not forget that dinner for a very long time!

I want to let you know that I think you are hotter now at 160 then you were when you were little in Cayote ugly. I think (and want) your curves are much sexier now then before and would kill for your body. You got it all brains, beauty, and personality! Just keep being you! P.S. You should do a show about cats and dogs and the impotance of getting them spade or neutered because they are over populated. Also about dog food and which brands are good and which are junk. After watching many different talk shows and many different hosts, I have decided that you are the one that I want to ask my question. First, a little history. I am only 51. I already have had osteoporosis for 10 years. I lost a lot of strength because of the pain through the years. In the last 5 years I have had some improvement but I am so out of shape that I am really having a hard time trying to get back in shape. A lot of what I try to do still causes a lot of pain. I have tried a lot of different things and I am beginning to loose my enthusiasm. Please help me. I am afraid that I will become helpless before long if I do not lose the weight that I have gained. Increase my strength and get my life back.

I just watched your insight video on how to figure out which bread and drink is actually yours. Well, one way I usually know is by scanning the end table place setting setup. So, if that place setting has the drink on the right I know my drink should be on the right also. I think both ways are affective. Now on the funny story topic. I work in customer service and on this particular day I was filling in as receptionist.
Well most people knows I am scared of certain animals which includes snakes. While I was on the phone answering an inquiry, one of my coworkers happened to be handling a boa and had it wrapped around her waist. Well she immediatley noticed I was on the phone and started walking towards me. I started panicking and stuttering on the phone. Tyra, I couldn't get the response out to the question I was being answered. Plus to make it more funny my coworker made the snake peek its head up over the desk. We laugh about that incident all the time. It's funny now but not when it was happening because I don't do snakes.
