I think it is important to have a great self esteem especially for my daughter who is 9 1/2. Lauren tells me that she loves me for who I am and that I am beautiful. It really means a lot to me.

Hey tyra, i was wondering if you can share my tip about saving money on jeans. You know how "skinny" is IN & "flares" are not and people usually have to buy a new set of jeans? Well what you can do is to just cut up the bottom of the jeans and adjust it to the size you want and sew it back together.

On a recent show (may have been a repeat) Tyra had on a pair of hi-heel shoes that you could wear dressy, that you could make into a lo-heel walking shoe. Could you please tell me where that shoe could be found? Great idea!!

TYRA!! hey I'm Kariisa a student from Caldwell College and I know this is a long shot but my club and I are in desperate need of your help. I am the president of BSCU(Black Student CoOperative Union)and for the longest we have been trying to get our fashion show (Flashing Lights) up and running we are so close to touching this dream and making this event big but we are being faced with some obstacles that will possibly stand in our way of making the show happen. Our club has a bad name for things at events and functions that have gone wrong in the past. This is my first year as president and I am trying to establish a show that will make Caldwell Students excited and more invovled around campus(being that our mission is for our club is to create unity on campus) and give BSCU back the good name that we deserve. I have a strong all female African American executive board. We want to prove that we are strong, determined, and true leaders. Especially being females, we want to prove that we can organize an event and deliver one hundred and ten percent, while showing that women can work together and get along at the same time. We have a runway, students willing to model,flyers,and a dj but have yet to get any help from sponsors to help with clothing. Our budget is real tight and buying clothes would be close to impossible. But we are still having faith that we can do it. We need your help tyra I dont know what you can do for us but I do know it was worth a try and it would help a great deal not just for us but for the kids of St. Judes since we have decided to have some of our proceeds go to them. I just want a successful show,BSCU to have a good reputation to be a good leader,and still give back to those in need. I'm Praying for a miracle here! Thanks Tyra

HEYY tyraaa.. i watch ur show every day afterrr skewwlll its amazing.. i just can miss anyy ^^ im only 14 but i am really into hair make up and fashion!! your tips are amazing tooo!! they work and your talk show is very interesting. i am a really petite person.. and its really hard to find clothes that fit.. so if i see something tha i like i cant always buy it. soo.. even if i do buy it i have to tailor it but that is really expensivee so i started learning how to design and tailor my own clothes.. IT SAVED SOO MUCH MONEYY and its reall fun!! ur soo beautifull Your my idoll

hey tyra and her glam squad my name is angela and i am 14 years old first i will like to say tyra i oe your style and personality but i love your hair style. i wanted to ask you a question i have this nervus problem since last year and like my hair was falling out but then all my hair just fell out in like a week or so so i went to the doctor and stuff like that, but its not doing anything ever since last year i have to wear wigs and the school i got to i am the only girl that wears a wig and i get made fun of, and i really want a wig that look like is mine so i wont have to get picked on or be scared that they might play a prank at me to pull it of. i really need to know were to buy a wig that is really not expensive and that i looks like mines since i got no hair i amcompletely bald. i am 14 years old and i live in the bronx this is really sad for me becuase am the only one that wears a wig in my school so people pick on me and people stare at me.

Hi Tyra, I love your show and you as a person cause you are so cool and down to earth. I can relate to alot that you talk about on your show on a woman level. It seem like I've been knowing you forever. But one you and I have in common is that we're both tall,actually the same height, pants size, and shoe size. It is so hard for me to find nice jeans and slacks to wear that are long enough so they won't look high waters. Could you suggest anywhere that I can go to find some nice jeans @ a reasonable price.
