Hello Mr. Obama,
It is good to see the increasing chance of you being a president.
I know that being president is not easy, in fact it requires ones to be truly madly deeply responsible.
I am an international student and I am working in my college in California as a tutor. You don't know how much I have been disappointed with US citizens who don't really take the chance US government has given them.
$20/unit is the price US citizens have to pay. While $173/unit is what I, as an outsiders have to pay.
I am not saying that it is unfair, since it was my decision to come here and study.
What makes me really disappointed and sometimes mad is that US students are very spoilt with the cheap educational price.
A lot of my friends who are US citizens get financial aid and then they only pay $20/unit and they often just drop the classes and tell me "I am too lazy" or maybe "I have to work"....
It sounds like education is not an important for them. Those young people are the future of this country.
I do think that US citizens have been blessed with all kinds of chances. Comparing me to those people, I do feel jealous and feel bad for this country. The government is trying to give its people an easier way to live, but these people are not appreciating it.
I really hope that the funds used for educational is not wasted.
I do really beg Mr. Obama to rethink about the educational system in college level over again.
I am really hoping that Mr. Obama would like to re-consider the tuition fee for "TALENTED" international student. They may be useful for US.
Thank you very much for this opportunity.

I am an out of state father who gets 0 vistation with my 2 boys. Their mother has kept them from me. How? Because I have no money to pay a lawyer to fight for my rights! Therefore she continually gets away with it. I pay child support and I owe back pay that never reduces because they charge me 10% interest on arrears. I can't claim dependents on taxes and I never get any taxes back. The court ordered visitation in California says I have to go there every 3 weeks for a few hrs of vistation on a Sat. and Sunday. I cannot afford that! That means I would be missing 2 days of work every 3 weeks to travel with everything at my expense! This is an injustice and I am very resentful towards the Cal. Court and the mother! I am poor and I can't get any help since I am a non-residential father. A court ordered therapist even wrote the judge telling them the mother is not cooperative and is guilty of parental alienation syndrome. The court did nothing about that. At this time I am sorry I even had children! If your going to start a new program for fathers. The whole child support and vistitation needs an overhaul since they are separate issues. I would love nothing more than to be the father I have always wanted to be. Lack of money prevents that from happening! No one has any rights unless they have the money to pay a lawyer to fight for their rights! It's all about money! Very sad!

You keep talking about what you are going to do when you are President about high gas and fuel prices, and doing something to get away from foreign oil! But, the cause of high gas and fuel prices is not due to foreign oil, it is, sadly, due to our own country's fuel industry that continues every year, unregulated, to make many billions of dollars profits, and we the comsumer continue to pay high gas and fuel prices. It is primarily the responsibility of Congress (with the President's leadership and support), not just the President's responsibility, to regulate a problem like this and do something about it - regulate our own U.S. fuel industry because they are overcharging the public.
You also talk about improving our economy and improving healthcare which are also primarily the responsibility of Congress (with the President's leadership and support), not just the President's responsibility, to build solutions to take action to improve the the economy, and healthcare.
You have been in Congress all this time, and you have not done anything about these issues up to now, so why would you do anything as President?

Mr. Obama, I'm an average American with a hectic lifestyle and some health isssues that I believe mariquana would remedy. You know about mariquana as a medication and for recreational use. How are you going to address this issue. Countless Americans getting criminal charges for something 1 out of every 10 Americans have either tried or is using on a regular basis right now! In my case mariquana has helped me not only deal with my personal problems and relaxes me in time of stress. But I will not continue to feel like a common criminal for something that is so commonly used and accepted with all Americans. My girlfriend will not use mariquana, not because it's harmful but it's against the law, So is speeding and driving under the influence. Under Bill Clinton's administration, I remember the Surgeon General at the time, who was a Black Woman, did research on legalizing mariquana and after that she was quickly fired. In 2000, I got charged with possession of so small amount of mariquana, I wouldn't have given me and Tyra a buzz. But the hell I had to go through, with my job and career where life altering. It makes no sense. Barrack and Tyra help me and countless other Americans or I'll move to Canada or Jamaica.

Is the information concerning your family background correct when I hear that your father was black and your mother was white? If so, why do you insist on only marketing your self as the first African-American candidate, denying the "white" side of your family?

I have three children with my former husband. When we went to divorce court the judge gave the tax deductions to the former husband. How can a local judge over turn a federal law that says the child needs to live in your home for more than 6 months out of the year? How can a tax deduction be awarded to the non-custodial parent, when the parent does not even utilize visitation of the child?
To my understanding child support is half of the child’s care, roughly. So the custodial parent who is taking care of the child more than half the year, to the entire year, is punished by a local judge taking away the right to the tax deduction.
Child support collected is NEVER close to the cost of raising a child. Yet, the non-custodial parent gets their child support off set by being allowed to claim a child they rarely see or one that is not visited at all. Does this seem right? Do local judges have the right to just pick and choose who they want to have the tax deductions according to their own personal opinions? What about federal laws and guidelines? Wouldn’t the children better be served by allowing the person raising them to have the deduction? Wouldn’t it make more sense to allow the person who is there every day with the child’s daily needs be allowed the federal tax deduction?
Now even more disturbing to me is a $25 fee that is being charged to the custodial parent for collecting the support. I was told by phone today from the North Dakota child support enforcement unit that this fee is being charged and it is being used to off set the deficit. I don’t understand, the federal government sets up an agency to collect child support from non-custodial parents and then takes some of that money to pay the deficit. Why would the federal government work to collect child support to help the children than take it away from them to offset the deficit? I was told this was being done according to a federal law. I question a federal law that takes the deficit and places it on the back’s of the children.
I question our government more and more. What’s next?

Obama,
You say that your daughters are two of the most important things in your life, yet you support abortion. What if your wife had aborted your beautiful little girls? Do you not care about the millions of other little girls (and boys) that are aborted? You say you support "women's rights"... what about the rights of the unborn women? Do they not deserve rights just because they are BABIES? Abortion is murder... Obama, you support the murder of innocent babies.

You seem to be quite against the war in Irag. America is one the most fortunate, so what is wrong with helping out the underdog? Yes, it may be hard for some people to comprehend why soldiers are over there when it is not benefiting OUR country, but it was the soldiers' choice to volunteer. I would be willing to risk my life for anyone, not just my country, but I am not yet old enough to enlist. I hope to get into mission work when I grow older.
