think that Nicole is a wonderful person and i wish the best for her, stress is hard on somebody, but she is strong enough to deal with it...What a totally amazing woman Nicole is! She is so gorgeous and so sweet. It is so true that she has become an icon I cant believe all the cr*p people say about this woman.Have always liked Nicole Richie. I am just glad that she has finaly set straight, thoughs who only have negative things to say about her. It was very disturbing to see what she has to deal with everyday.

Dear Tyra,
I watched your show with Nicole Richie and I thought that it was amazing.
I have always had issues with how celebs are treated and followed by paparazi. The general public has become so obsessed with the personal and intiment details of celebs life's that it is just twisted. Because of the publics desprete need to know details of a celebs life being a paparazzi has become a sought out job. I do not think that the public gets it. I can compleatley understand what it feels like to be stalked and to made feel like a prisinor in your own home.
I recently went through a horriable divorce. Three restraining orders were placed on my ex husband. He openly stalked me and photographed me constantly. He was trying to get dirt on me for court. My divorce went all the way to trial. I dont have alot of money I am a middle class person and could not understand why it went to trial. But even as I was cleaning out the garage of the family home My ex stood at the top of the driveway with his girlfriend and photographed me. He went as far as following my parents to the dump and took photos of what was thrwn out. He tryed to use that in court. My point is that I was frightened to death that he was showing up in the places I was taking pics and just watching me. He would hide behind the house, broke into the house twice and took photos. he even had his GF following me and taking pics. I drive a school bus and they have followed my bus. It is a horrid feeling to be followed.
The public wants so despretly to know details, unnessecary details of these celebs lives that I feel it has gone way to far. The public feeds off of not the performances celebs produce for us but there personal life. There are so so many average people that go through rehab, drunk driving charges, eating issues but do we look at that in our community? The very people that are picking apart the celebs may have the same issues of weight, drugs, drinking.
The public needs to remember that photo shop is a photographers best friend, but most of all. Celebs have a good life as far as money, desginer clothing, and what appears to be a glamorous exsetence. BUT!!! If you had to wax, have perfect hair, look amazing all the time even when you are ill, keep in shape, be a role model, along with just trying to do their job as a performer think of the stress you would be under. Seriously!!!!! Celebs love to act and perform, that is why they are who they are it is their dream. They bring us joy to our everyday lives by giving us movies and tv shows to watch and music to listen. We and the industry have placed such high exspectations on weight, looks ect that we have obsessed over not a performance and the joy that they bring by making a reality outlet for us but rather than who is dating who, who is going to rehab, what they are bying, ect. For someone to not be able to have a day out with lunch without having a camrea shoved in your face is wrong. If someone did that to another person it would be stalking. Bottom line respect is deserved by all. Celebs eat the same, put their pants on the same, have the same feelings we do but there job is diffrent. Love their performance apprecaite them and there gifts but respect them. Because like you they eat breath, make mistakes, love, laugh and cry to.

It made me very sad to see Nicole being hounded like that when she was out shopping. I hate when the paparazzi seem to have to make celebrities hate to do simple things like enjoying an outing with a friend. It it out of hand.

First off I'd like to thank Tyra for having Nicole Richie on the show. I've gained a new respect for her. Funny thing is I felt the same way about Fergie. Then I saw her on the show. I use to dislike the two of them until now.

I fell in "love" (in a total heterosexual way... lol) with Tyra and her attitude. She's got such a great persona. As do Nicole and Fergie! I respect them now that I know a little more about them.

I love Fergie's music and now when I see Nicole, instead of thinking,"What a spoiled little brat!" I think,"I hope she can take control of her life!" and "I hope all is well with her."

Watching today's show bout staying thin using illegal drug. I wonder where people get these drugs from?? Arent the drug suppliers caught by police?In earlier shows also drug addicts were shown.But what has been done 2 tackle the root cause- the drug supply??

I was so pleased to see Tyra do a show on the stress and enormous strain it must be to have people in your face, watching your every move ever single day. I am a mother and I try to imagine how my daughters would handle having to be scrutinized the way that Nicole, Brittney, and other young women are as they try to learn how to be mothers and mature into adulthood. It astounds me that, although they are celebrities, that their rights to have normal days and everyday moments seem not to exist. I disagree with the consensus that celebs ask for this kind of attention. Publicity is key but the harrassment and lies, the intrusions and stalking are all against the law and I, for one, could never, ever hold up were I expected to live in the way Nicole live. Thanks again to Tyra for the wonderful way she brought this important issue to the forefront in a tasteful and educational manner. Nicole was very articulate and real and I wish her peace and serenitym happiness and success.
