Hi Tyra,

My name is Ky Davis and I am a 30 year old african american mom/wife/entrepreneur of www.kyartworks.com/business woman working overnights at Merrill Lynch. I wear many more hats than that but that is to give you the jist. I am and have always been inspired by you and your entire demeanor. I respect and appreciate the mark that you've set on this world and the difference that you continue to make each and every single day. My point is that I painted a picture that was totally inspired by you Tyra and would love to give it to you on your show. I am a self taught artist that started painting 5 years ago and received my inspiration from my oldest son Terrell. He is now 4 years old and has been through alot. He was born premature ( @ 6 months of pregnancy). He suffered from a stroke, had to have a tracheostomy tube in his neck for two years, he was in the hospital for the first year of his life, he had to have 24 hour nursing care in my home, glaucoma of the left eye,right side weakness/paralysis. I can really write a book but just to let you know with alot of TLC he is doing well and is coming along just great. His little brother Kylin helps him out a great deal too. We are all inspired by your inspiration b/c I follow your strength through your shows such as Americas Next Top Model and I saw the explanation of how it all came together. Bottom line is that you made it happen. Period. That is how I feel about life. If you want something... Then you just have to make it happen. I watch your show The Tyra Show all of the time and I know that you said you read these blogs and I hope that this will interest you enough to allow me on your show. Before any of your shows start airing I would like you to look at it. I Know your a busy woman but all I would like for you(and i mean only you...LOL) is to review a little project poaster I did of you in my summer fashion class at 'The Art Institute of Philidelphia'. I actually just got home today from a trip to NY for ur first taping!! I flew over from Florida...I just wanted to say that I love you even more!! I had a brief exchange of words with you and I was beating myself up afterwards.
I had the opportunity to thank you, to thank you for being a guardian angel and making a mark by touching, inspiring soo many lives.and I froze!!
But I want to tell you..thank u for saving my life! ALthough u may not know me, we might not be friends, and you probably wont put a face to this note..u deserve to know wat you have done.
To make it short..I have always hated myself, the way i look, everything from drugs,to anorexia, to bulimia, to suicide..I tried it. Weeks before the first show of confronting the media aired, I had gotten worse, but my suffering continued silent..suicide once again crossed my mind..then,as always, ur show cme on n i tuned in. like a guarian angel with perfect timing.
Do I absolutely love me? not yet. am i transformed? in a way, I am and I owe it to you, Tyra. i can truthfully n honestly say i am probably still here b/c f u. the pages arent long enough and words cant xpress my gratitude..I hate I didnt get the nerve or chance to tell you this in NYC but hopefully u see this and if ever u feel ur not making a change or impact..remember my name and know, if someone you have impacted, its me. so, thank you!!

We are the midwest steel magnolias and we want to come to the tyra show. We are four middle age best friends who have never had an adventure outside of our county. Kim, has been undergoing breast cancer chemo and will soon have a radical masectomy. The taping will be a wonderful break for us all from that horror. Tonya, just started hormone therapy following a total hysterectomy. Janie has the most controlling husband in the world and fights to get out from under his thumb and enjoy life. And me, the momma, I have recently put on a big bunch of weight (couldn't be from the stress of having high maintenance friends or anything (lmao) and need to feel pretty and adventurous. HELP US TYRA. We have had a hell of a year. You have inspired each of us on different shows and the trip to NY would be a first for us all.

Hi Tyra,

I have emailed you before and in that comment I wrote how my friend and I want to become models. Well, the person who was my friend, is no longer my friend. She and her other best friends recently told me that they hated me. Needless to say, I was crushed, but that did not change the fact that I want to become a model. I am a 105 lb. 13-year-old girl (not trying to lose any weight!) and I feel like I was made for modeling. Have you ever noticed how people walk around with their feet pointed out? Well I have. My whole life I've walked around with my feet pointing slightly inwards. Apparently that is really good if you wanna be a model. But that's not why I want to become one. I want to become one because of your show America's Next Top Model. The activities you do in there, though they are most definitely harder than they appear (I have practiced them!) have turned out to become natural to me. Please give me a chance to become a model now instead of having to wait for five years to go on your show. I beg of you!!!! Please.

There wasn't a "Department" were you could suggest topics for the show so here goes. Since only people 18 and over are allowed to your show then you should have one show with preteens or your younger fans. Im 122 [turning 13 on March 7] and I, like other girls, would really love to come on your show. The show could talk about the everyday life of a preteen/ teen. Especially peer pressure. Problems with girls living in low income families and dangerous environments. Many girls weren't as lucky as you and I to have someone for support or to come to. The issue with young girls dating. I live in NY as many other younger fans of yours and it would be the awesomest thing if we could come to your show. I don't think I could call myself your number 1 fan but there are so many girls out there that just worship you and watch your shows every time its on, even if it's a rerun. It's not only the adults Tyra. There's us too. We try to be like you everyday. And on behalf of your younger fanbase THANK'S.

Hello Tyra, thank you for being so real with your talk show. I live in New York and your show use to be on at 9am in the mornings. Ofcourse I was alway late for work watching the show which, was okay!!! I am usually not home at 5pm but when I am off I do watch and catch up. Anyway, I was off yesterday and saw the show that you are coming to NY and would like to attend a taping. I was actually skeptical with you having your own show. I thought it was going to be another wanna-be Oprah Winfrey. But of course, I was proven wrong, your shows are amazing. The topics are so much on reality and so down-to-earth. And I'm so shocked during your shows, when I learn all these things about people, culture, fashion and etc. I live in NYC [represent!] and since you were coming to here I was like WOO-HOO! But when I was gonna get tickets online it said only 18 yrs old or older. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT. Can't you at least lower it down to 16? With parental consent or something? I love your show, and now that your coming to NYC I SOOO WANNA GO. AND SO DO MY FRIENDS! Please please pleasssssse lower the age! If not, then lower it down when the topic isn't adult or something. PLEASE DO SOMETHING. I'm dying to go to your show!
