The Tyra Banks Show is packing up the runway and moving to the big apple CLICK HERE for your chance to attend a taping at Chelsea Studios in New York City.

Hi,

I went online about three weeks ago to fill out for tickets to your new NYC location for an October 4 showing. I still have not heard back anything as of yet. Not even a sorry we can't accomodate you that day would you like another day? I guess people who don't live in NYC are not on your preffered list.

Hey! Tyra, I would like to be on your the show as a part of the audience when you come to NY. How do I go about getting tickets. I'm not getting through on the website. Thank You! Look forward to seeing you.

Hi Tyra! I just wanted to say I love your show! I have a very important message I would like you to see. Im not comfortable posting it on here though :( its very personal. I know you cant contact me yourself but if one of your staff could I would be happy to tell them my story I tried posting it on your Be On The Show section but its not working :( and this is something thats very important to me so if one of your staff members could contact me about it that would be great! thanks :)

Hey Tyra my name is steven capers, I am writing this on the behalf of my aunt Ms.patricia plair. we wanted to give her daughter(kenyetta adams) a sweet sixteen she could remember and cherrish with some of her friends and family.
kenyetta's father, kevin adams, is in the army and he is only able to visit her once a year, which has a huge impact on her life.
Tyra can you help us give kenetta a birthday to remember, by spending a day on your show with some of her friends and family?
thank u for taking your time to read this request, and may God bless you.

Hello Tyra!

Its Tina. I have quite a problem. Since the Tyrashow has moved to New York and aired September 10th, I've been missing all of the shows. I don't want to miss anymore based on what I've seen on the home page because it looks really, really interesting-especially the one with Vanessa and Lauren because Im huge fans of them..and you!! For some reason, the Tyrashow hasn't been playing at the right time or on the right channel. The only other channel that it plays on is Oxygen! and those are usually re-runs, and it takes a while for them to finally air the new ones. On my tv it shows on the schedule that your show has been replaced with a court/judge show. I finally have a chance to watch the full hour show when I come home from school around 4:00 and thats when the Tyrashow usually plays, but now I'm so confused and lost about when it plays and what channel!! Tyra, can you help me? I was wondering if you knew when the Tyrashow plays in Naples, FL.
Thank You, Tyra!
I LOVE YOU!!

Hi Tyra;
It was my pleasure attending your NY taping of Travel 101. I was lucky along with 3 of my cousins all from NJ. We waited on line for about 3 hours becuase of some maintenance issues with ur studio and had to use Marthas'. Your staff was very compassionated through out the entire time and promised a great show. Even though there were some mishaps, we did not regret a second. You r beautiful inside as well as outside and we were very honored to be there. Not to mention all the give aways. Yes, the entire audience were compensate with a 3 nights 4 days trip to either Aruba or Cancun. We cannot wait to go to Aruba and to re-visit your show.

Luv U Tyra u r wonderful. thanks for moving to NY. PS this was our 1st taping and an experience to remember forever.

Thank U.
Joy, East Orange, NJ

We should all be registered, because next year is going to be huge. We have an opportunity to possibly have a Black Man or a Female as President, both are long overdue!!

I read the most interesting article on Obama and His Healthcare Proposal on this new magazine website, VassarMagazine.Com.

You should check it out!
Get educated, and get registered!!!

I’m writing to complain about my experience as an audience member at the Tyra Show. I attended the August 17th “Do-It-Yourself” taping with my mother, sister, and best friend. We live in Virginia and drove five hours to New York expecting a rewarding experience. Let me start off by saying that we are big fans of Tyra Banks, The Tyra Show, and America's Next Top Model.
The Tyra Show sent us an email a week prior to the taping revealing the studio policy. The policy clearly stated that cell phones would not be permitted, and that the studio would not be responsible for the storage of our items during the taping. They assured us that the rules would be strictly enforced. We realized that this was going to be an inconvenience, being out of town, in the city, and without a cell phone, but we honored the policy and left our cell phones behind. When we arrived we noticed that several other audience members brought cell phones, and the phones were allowed in. Watching this was frustrating, because we followed the rules, only to see that they were not enforced.
. During the taping, Tyra was VERY disconnected with the audience. During the commercial breaks, the producers would play music and she would either just stand there singing to herself, stare around blankly, or walk off to the side. She wasn’t doing anything important, just literally standing off to the side, almost hiding from us. She was also very disconnected with the actual GUESTS on her show! While the camera was on she was all over them, but as soon as there were commercial breaks, she paid no mind to them. I was embarrassed for the guests she had there, as they sat there for sure feeling awkward at Tyra ignoring them. The taping felt fake.
I enjoyed Tyra WHILE they were taping, but whenever they yelled, “cut!“ she was not fun at all. It was like she was a different person. I understand that they had a show to film and maybe the priority was not to be all buddy-buddy with the audience, but even the camera crew made the time and effort to connect to the audience, and they do more work than Tyra. It’s a shame that she couldn’t do the same. I mean they ‘re filming a show, Tyra just reads a teleprompter! Contrary to Tyra, the studio staff treated everyone with kindness and respect. The Stage Manager was exceptionally nice. She would whisper little jokes to the audience every now and then throughout the show. The only time Tyra said something to us was during one of the last breaks, where she felt the need to share useless information about some time that she spent with Beyonce.
The funny thing about it all is that the production staff kept telling the audience that Tyra loved New York’s energy. They informed us that one of the reasons the Tyra Show left Los Angeles is because the LA audience was not loud enough and they did not cheer as much. I now understand why. They were probably annoyed at Tyra’s stuck up behavior.
At the end of the show, she high-fived a few people, and they shut off the cameras. She asked us if we had fun and if we'll be coming to see her again. Yeah right. You're lucky the tickets were free, because I would not pay and drive five hours to go through that again. She said bye and left.
We were saddened because watching The Tyra Show at home, we believed Tyra to be genuinely down to earth and friendly. Next time Tyra, have a little more respect for your audience. Without an audience, you wouldn't have a show to tape. We expected an experience of a lifetime, instead we left feeling used.

**P.S. i see that another girl, by the name of Julia, made a post about how she was disappointed as well..I was going to give Tyra the benefit of a doubt..like maybe she just had a bad day that day..but i see sadly..thats just the way she is. You're right Julia watching the show will never be the same and the camera DOES lie :(

hey Tyra
Im not sure what to say but that you seem to be a humble and fun person. I enjoy watching you because you seem like a round away girl, even through all this fame. This allows people, in particular african american women to relate to you. Have a good and blessed day.

hi ms. tyra banks,

I would love to attend a taping of your show in New York. The guest I would like to see on the show is MAXWELL. I would also appreciate it if you did a show on the improtant profession of Social Workers, I am a Social Worker with a Masters degree and a license. Our profession gets no respect, but our roles are soooo important. Please shine a light on this profession once and for all. You will get great respect for shinning a light on a field that gets no respect. Much love to you, and good luck in the big city. Please stay grounded and not let this fast moving city eat your soul. If there are any other Social Workers out there reading this please write in to get Tyra to spotlight our profession. Peace&love Sharon Flores, LMSW

hi tyra, i love you and your show. i think that your very positive and a very good role model to woman in the 21st century. with that being said i am also upset at the fact that i requested some tickets to see u in new york 3 months ago and yet no one has called or email me about them. im still hoping and praying that u write me or send me those tickets for your premiere in new york. later

Tyra, if you are planning on having anybody on your show to talk about being overweight and losing weight I know I would be a great person to have on your show, especially since obesity in teens my age is growing. Im not scared to discuss what I've been through because I know others have been through or are going through it and I know that if I were to talk about it it would help them. I wrote to your show before I lost about 80 pounds...now I am at about 195. I'm 16 and I was my own inspiration and I would like to inspire others who think it is impossible to lose weight. I have been overweight ever since I can remember and I just kept gaining weight and losing who I was. Now, I am still overweight but alot smaller than I used to be. My confidence has went up considering before my weight loss I didn't know what that word even ment. I lost my weight in a healthy manner (exercise, healtier eating). I never thought I would be under 200 pounds in my life...but look at me now. I was the type to be depressed but put a smile on my face for everyone else's sake, but when no one was around I would cry. I don't think anybody knows how much my weight used to get to me. Well before this turns into a real long story...I would just like to thank you for taking your time to read about me. As you see, I have been through so much when it comes to my weight and if I were to talk with you about it on your show, we would be able to inform those who havent been through it and encourage those who have and are. Obesity is all over. It covers all races, ages, and sexes and can make you feel worthless. The people going though it need help and inspiration...I can say that for a fact because I been there. Thanks Tyra and all your great staff :)

p.s. Im from Syracuse NY and I know my mom would be able to take me down there should you want to discuss this topic with somebody like myself (we both love Tyra)

TYRA!!!
You had a show topic about being a tomboy and loving the yankee's... I could totally pull that off. Im the girl with a group of guys at a sports bar, all the guys think of me as one of their boys, and im the girl that will sit every sunday in front of the TV watching football. I've written to you before on this subject but I would just die if you had me on your show when you do something with the yankee's. Even if I was in the audience and got a chance to see Alex Rodriguez (my fav. player) I would just die. Im tryin to plan a trip to New York next year to see a game but everything is so expensive... I really hope something works out.
