Before After When it comes to finding the perfect pair of jeans, you might need to invest a lot of time in the dressing room before locating the pair that satisfies your denim craving. Don't be discouraged, with a little effort and patience, there is an amazing pair of jeans that will make you feel bootylicious!

The following is a list of tips to remember while on your quest for jean nirvana:

NOTICE SHAPE, NOT SIZE: Each style of jean is made for a particular body type and sizes can vary from brand to brand. Keep these syle factors in mind:

Tapered: Avoid jeans that taper or have bellbottoms if you have a pear shaped body. This style will make you look shorter and bigger. Instead, opt for straight and bootcut styles or jeans with a slight flare.
Stretch: Curvy girls should choose jeans with a bit of stretch so they’re comfortable, but if you don’t have much booty, avoid baggy jeans and styles that stretch because they flatten the bottom.
Pocket Placement: Let’s be honest, the perfect pair of jeans will make your booty look FIERCE! Placement of the backside pockets is a huge factor in how we feel about the fit of the jeans (how high or low the pockets are changes the look of your booty). If you have no booty and want to create the illusion of more junk in your trunk, don’t wear pants with low pockets. Also, chose something with flap pockets, which add texture and thickness. If you have a bigger booty, choose jeans with large pockets. Small pockets will just make your booty seem larger.

WARNING: When wearing low rise jeans, don't forget to wear low waisted underwear. Nobody wants to see your panties when you bend down, so do yourself a favor and pick up a pair of hip hugging, low rise underwear!

hi tyra!!
im 14 and my mom still buys jeans and clothes for me, but when she buys for me my pants never fit[im 5ft.4 an weigh 107 and im all legs..]so yeah im on the thinner side but when i wear jeans they fit everywhere else except the waist and my booty..any good pair of AFFORDABLE jeans i could buy so i wont look like im wearing my older brothers jeans??

Hi Tyra,

I am 5'4 anf weigh 133 pounds. My biggest problem is my tummy and hips. All jeans fits my legs but not my tummy. The jeans slips from my tummy and settles in the lower portion and its seems to be hanging.size 9 looks good but looks tight on my tummy. Size 11 is lil big and I cant wear without a belt. What shape should I wear.

I am a 20 year old who is almost 5'1 i never in my life had a good pair of jeans that fit me properly. They have alwasy been wayyy to long or to tight around the waist and baggy inbetween the legs and behind under my bum. Ive tryed paying 200$ for jeans all the way to 20$ for jeans the prices still dont make a differrence. What the hell can i do?!

Hey Tyra,this is Olivia.I am 6'2 and my sister is 6'3.I wear a size 2 or 3 and she wears a size 6.As you probably know,it is very hard for us to find pants.When we do find pants,they are like 100$ When we search for pants on the internet the longest lengths are 36 inseam.
