What Have You Always Wanted to Do?

Hi y’all,

I love making wishes come true, so if there is something you have always wanted to do - tell me about it! The crazier your wish, the more likely it is that I might make it happen!

Tyra's Signature

hi tyra my biggest wish in the whole world is to become a actress and especially a singer, it is being so hard for me right now because its hard to find a agent that is real about helping me out. i pray alot about it and maybe i need to be a little patient or try alittle harder, i just wish god could bring me someone to help me become one

Hello Tyra

I'v always wanted to be an actor or print model, eversince i was a little boy. I was the little boy in the family that everybody alway's want'ed to see, sing & dance. I'm 41 now but look early 30's. When some people see dress'ed up, they always ask me am i a Model, i always say i Wish i was. Thank you for listening to my story Ms. Tyra Banks,
love you and you SHOW.

Hi Tyra!
My name is Ajolique and I am a junior at the University of Maryland. First off let me say that as a woman and more importantly, a woman of color I admire your strength and beauty. You have always been a personal role model and hero of mine concerning my modeling and charity aspirations. I love your business savvy and undying confidence which has influenced me and I'm sure plenty of other young girls. Since high school I have been involved with an amazing organization based in the Washington DC area called Gapbuster Learning Center. This program works with minority youth and empowers them with the necessary tools and skills to compete with their white and asian peers academically. Through this program I have had the opportunity to be a Youth Ambassador and receive HIV/AIDS peer education training. In 2005, I was able to travel with the organization on their annual trip to South Africa to educate South African youth and communities about the HIV virus, other STI's and prevention methods. This work is so important in South Africa due to the high HIV incidence rate and the unbelievable myths. There are some in South Africa who believe that they can cure their HIV by having sexual intercourse with a virgin and some stoop as low as to rape infants. That opportunity changed my perspective on my privileged American life. Although I have had to struggle it seems insignificant compared to what many South African youth have gone through. Children in South Africa idolize Americans and even more so celebrities. My wish is for you to collaborate with GBLC to plan an event in South Africa when they travel there in Dec. 2008. I think it would change and inspire so many of their youth. When we went they treated us with the same admiration that they would celebrities so you can only imagine what it would mean to them to see and meet a real celebrity. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this request and hopefully I will hear back from you. Thank you for playing a significant role in the African American and global community. God Bless!

Dear Tyra,
Hi my name is Alex and I'm recently 13 years old. I always wanted to become a model but I don't really know where to start. I think I have the cofidence but I don't really know. i know if i really try and think about i'll accomplish alot but i have high doubts of ever becoming a tremindous model like you. all my life i would wonder what do i want to do and model is always the thing that pops up. i'm scared cause i don't want to let go of my dream of becoming a model. because it's something that i know that i would enjoy. i have watched every season of Americas Next Top Model and I like to write down all the things and advice you say at panel. I wish that i would have the experience on a photoshoot or know how the life of modeling really is. it would mean everything to me, if you would grant me this wish.

Tyra,

All my life I have wanted to be a model, (I just never got the height for it). However, one day I realized that petite modeling could be the job that I've been looking for! However, I don't have the money to get the portfolio I need to jump start my career and I know that as soon as I graduate from college in two years, that dream will be gone forever!!! Please help me to achieve my dream!

Hi Tyra,

I have pondered about writing you for a while, since you are the first celebrity who has really touched me in a special way! I love people who are real, confident, and comfortable with themselves; I believe you represent that! It is so important to have societal role models who are able to accept and love themselves flaws and all, understanding through God's strength they are perfect, whole, and have all the available resources to accomplish their dreams.

I am in the process of setting the foundation to accomplish my dreams through education and strategic management of my time, networks and available resources. However, you asked how you can help and I believe that God will send me all the help I need to accomplish my goals! Hey you might be one of his options!

The two main things I would love help accomplishing are:
1. Getting recognition as a fashion consultant (meeting your team and other established experts in the industry)
2. Starting a mentoring program for young adults to advise them on pursuing their passion through self empowerment and actualization.

All in all, I really love to help people realize and actualize their true potential and God given talents.

Continue to show the world that anyone can accomplish their dreams, so they should never stop dreaming or believing!

HI! MY GREATEST DREAM IS TO HAVE MY OWN STORE THAT SALES DESIGNER PRODUCTS: shoes, accessories, hand bags. MAYBE MY DREAM MAY NOT SEEM AS GREAT AND AS SPECIAL BUT THAT IS WHAT I DREAM FOR IN LIFE. ALL I WANT IS TIPS AND COMMENT THAT CAN HELP ME GET STARTED. TYRA I LOVE YOU. AND I WOULD LIKE WORDS OF WISDOM!
please comment back it will mean so much to me.

Hi Tyra,

I love your show. You are so down to earth and you make so many people feel good about themselves. You keep it real and that is what it's all about
You are a beautiful young women who is more that just a model for a lot of young girls to look up to. You are a success.
I write children stories and I'm in the process of trying to get one published. I also design womens clothes and would like to design a dress especially for you. Maybe you can start your own clothes line and let me be your ghost designer.

Continue showing the love.

I live in the Uk and would like to travel... anywhere, im not picky, i just want the opportunity to see the world.

o an just so uno everyone at my school loves ANTM, we get ur humour, ur a good role model which is rare in the media these days, and i respect ur calmness when interviewing people with such strong views like the phelps family... who its hard not to get frustrated with as there views just seem so wrong to anybody with a sensible head on there shoulders!

Dear Tyra,
I am a 34 years ald woman. I love your show. My dream is to have a beautiful smile and model even just one day on your show. Every where i go people ask me if i am a model and i tell them no, and ask them why and they say you are beautiful.I get a happy feeling when i hear that because those words were the most beautiful words that i never heard in my childhood. i grew up in Africa and so many people used to say i was not part of my family because i have darker skin than my brothers and sisters. One day i was pretty young and i talked to my mom on her ears away from home and one guy asked my mom who i was and she replied my daughter and he told her no she is not i know your kids they are beautiful. i felt hurt inside but couldn't say nothing. and another guy who was my class mate and i started school at 5 years old which was very unusual at the time and i was the smallest and youngest student from my class. one day we had pictures taken for the 12'th grade certificate and he saw my picture and said the picture gave a pretty picture to the ugly girl! i was so devastated and just kept quite because i couldn't say nothing but embarrassed in front of my classmates. I never felt and told pretty until i came to the US.Now i hear the word Model in my ears every minute and i would want to live the dream for just one day. I also have a crooked teeth and say how can i be a model without a good smile? any way i am old with three young kids and i am not getting the model question i used to get but it would be a nice feeling to moder before i get much older. Please Tyra make my dream come true for just one day!

Sincerely,
Mehret Beyene.
