Dear Ms.Tyra
I really enjoy your show an d look forward to meeting you, hopefully one ANTM 2010. I've always had ambitions to model, and now I am attending the John Robert Powers School for modeling and acting, and some dancing. The only problem is I want to be a runway model and I've always been insecure about my legs. I have a mild case of something called Tibia vara which is a condition characterized by disturbance of normal growth in the inner part of the upper tibia. Tibia vara causes a bowlegged gait, and can impair the knees significantly, which is why i don't own very many shorts or skirts unless im at dance practice.

I've always wanted to remodel my kitchen, bathrooms and to landscape my property. On 2002 I came home to San Antonio, Texas (my hometown) after losing my husband to cancer in 1995. I drove two 26 ft trucks with my belongings to come home. I bought a house and got busy helping my sister remodel my Mother's house. I was here a little over a year when I was diagnosed with lymphoma in my back. It took three trips to the emergency room to finally, after being persistent, to get them to find out what was wrong with me. They kept telling me I had picked up something heavy, or hit myself or slept wrong etc. They kept sending me home with pain pills that would only work for a couple of days then the pain would return excruciating--I felt like I was in Labor and I knew I was not having a baby. I felt like my back was being split in half. At 2:00 am they took me for an MRI and called in an Onchologist, Dr Gregory J. Guzley, who after checking the MRI saw something just not right on my lower left upper part of my hip. Dr Gregory J. Guzley from the
Cancer Care Centers of South Texas saved my life. On 2 July 2004 was my first Chemo treatment. Had this cancer not been found I'd be dead now. He is the sweatest most caring person I've ever met. He is this way with all his patience. The nurses are also so caring and always concerned to give the patience the best treatment. Long story short. I went through Chemo from Jul-Oct 2004. I was left very weak and have had a long road to recovery. I've had so many people praying for me. I never got to paint the inside of my house or remodel my kitchen or bathrooms. I was not able to landscape outside either. I am Cancer-free now. I have a lot to be thankful for. I am disabled now and cannot work, but I'm alive. I have a Son, who is serving in the Air Force, stationed at Ramstein AB, Germany. I have a daughter too. After they lost their Dad to cancer I was so glad I was able to survive so they would not be left alone. The most important message I want to pass on to people is not to dismiss back pain as maybe being cancer. Had I done that I would not be alive now.

I have always loved writing song lyrics, and would love for them to be read by someone in the business so that I could know whether this could become a career. I am almost 38 years old and am dealing with Endometriosis, as well as just recently being diagnosed with Bi-Polar and ADD. I am now, finally, on medication and am doing well. It would make me feel great to have a career that I love and be able to support my 5 1/2 year old daughter. She has been through a lot with me because of incorrect medication due to incorrect diagnosis. We have been from shelter to shelter in this town and might be finally getting on our feet. I would like to buy a home for us someday, and I am soooooooooooooooooo sure that my talent is in writing. I would also love it if someone could sing one of my songs on your show.

This is a huge dream, but you asked so here goes. My entire life I have wanted to build a "Country Bed and Breakfast" I live on a farm and I have many animals in Kansas (just outside of Wichita) I have had this dream since I was a child, a family taylored bed and breakfast with one of every kind of animal possible. That families could come and stay and truly get a taste of how WONDERFUl country life really is. And be able to interact with farm animals, especially handicaped children. My husband and I both work full time jobs and take care of our "small 20 acre farm" the dream seems impossible, so I thought I had nothing to loose by entering. Hi Daniel , Thank you for your kind email. The breeder is in
Akin S.C. We thought we could trust her because we had bought one
from her before. The previous one is registered with AKC , but I
don't think she belongs to anything else.

I first took him to my regular Vet. Dr. Grey Did not x-ray him but
did a good exam and said the thought it was OCD of the shoulder. From
the start I kept saying that they way he walks made me think it is
his elbow. No one else agreed. They put him on anti-inflammatory
medication to see if it helped. After that prescription ran out I
called the Vet I used before I moved here, to get her opinion. Her
name is becki Shelton. She is a very good vet and has a mobile unit
so she drove up here to see him. She agreed with the first Vet and
changed his medication to Deramaxx. She didn't x-ray him either but
wanted us to see another Vet In Gainesville that specializes in
shoulder surgery. We took him there and they sedated him heavily and
took the X-rasys. The should x-rays didn't show anything so they did
the elbow. The Vet felt that the elbow is the problem. All of the
Vets say the breeder had to have lied. They said that this had to
have started by 6 months of age and that she had to know. Jaci told
me that she got him back from the original owner and had him several
months before we got him. She had him in the pen with her female
adult dogs. She swears he was eating but he is so nervous and timid I
don't believe he would have had the courage in with those big dogs.
For the first week I had him he only hate what I held up to his
mouth. I left the bowl full for him but he was afraid to eat from
it. he has come a really long way since we have had him. At this
point we have paid Vets near $2,000 and his medication is $50 a
bottle. I will not take him back to the breeder because I believe she
would put him down. We love him so much! At the present my X-rays
have been mailed to another vet in Roswell GA that specializes in
elbow surgery. he is going to look at the films and call me and let
me know what he thinks.

As for him being muted we are not positive this was done but the vet
said they would know if his cord were cut when he is put fully
asleep. For weeks he made no sound of any kind. Everyone has always
teased me because i talk to my dogs so much they end up being big
talkers. I have worked with him and he began letting out moans like
he was saying good morning , when he got up in the mornings. Now he
barks a single bark occasionally but it is rough and he sounds
hoarse. I read that if they really try they can still bark a little.
The vet said that if he wasn't muted eventually he might bark. It is
obvious he has been dealt with harshly, if you just say, "sit" too
loud, he bolts and runs. he is very sensitive. I have had him since
Thanksgiving and he is just now warming up and beginning to play .

Another thing that concerns us is that my first Bernese papers said
her mother was 4 years old. When we went to get Toby we ask to see
her so we could take a picture and she told us she had died. We were
shocked and ask from what. She said , old age ! All we know is the
papers say she was only 4 yrs old. If you want any more information i
will do the best I can. We didn't pay much for him because of his age
but we felt she should give that back at least to help with the
bills. We love him so much and we will not let him be put down.
