my name is katie.i am 13 years old and live in a really little town.my DREAM is to meet you.i know that thousands of people write to you saying they want to meet you,but i really really need to!i have wanted to meet you ever since the first season of the tyra show.the past three years have been truly rough.i have lost a person that ment a lot to me in 2006.she was my aunt and the only person that i told everything to.and this past year my town went through a huge tragety,on october 4 2007 three teenagers died in a car accident two of them were freshmen and the third was a senior.this really hurt me even though i really wasnt close with any of them.i remember watching your show the day they died and it made me laugh your show was the only thing that cheered me up.not only have i lost people in the past three years but my family went through an extrem rough patch and your show was always the only thing that cheered me up.a few weeks ago one of my sisters asked me why i wanted to meet you so bad.i said i dont want to meet her i need to and she makes me happy and i dont even know her i just see her on tv what would she do if i ever got to meet her and talk to her.my freinds always say that they want to be there if i ever got to meet you just to see how priceless my face would be.so PLEASE tyra you have know idea how much it would mean to me if i ever got to meet you.so if you would just take like one hour out of any day you would seriously make my everyday.PLEASE TYRA MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!!

Hey Tyra,
My names Lindsey and i watched your show for the first time today on the science of love. I loved it and i actually learned from it. It really made sence, all of the things that the your guest speaker was saying i noticed that i did do that slightly when i was looking for Mr. Right; which i found one year ago march 23, 2008. We have been together as i said earlier for almost one year. Will makes me so happy, I never knew that i could smile and lauph so much in my life. He is so good to me, I never touch my own doors, i dont carry anything unless i tell him that i want to. Although here is my problem we have been living wiht my parents for about 6 months because his dad stole money that was suppost to pay hims credit cards and pocketed it for himself while will was over sea's in the Army. So now he has five cards to pay off and hardly enough money to make ends meet and i am a strugling student at Chemeketa Community Collage, and part time at victorias secret; but the main problem for me is that i have a messed up back my doctor thinks i have fibromyalga and never damage in my left arm and leg, which means that i cant do much but sit and even that hurts me after one or two hours so i cant work very much really anywhere and i want to work so i can help him pay his bills off so we can save to move out and get married i have tests to find out whats wrong with my body and my doctor said that there are many other things that he wants to look at but we can only do sertain things at this moment of time. All im asking for is to help us get out of this rut and help me find out whats wrong with me, why i alway hurt no matter what im doing. We want to start our lives but we cant manage to get out of this huge bump in our lives. What do you recommed? I just want help is that too much to ask. I want to help him but i cant without getting a good desk job but im only 19 and people dont want to hire me because of that one factor. I want him too be happy he is getting so down because he feels like he cant do enough. You have to realize that he works 40+ hours per week and has worked his butt off getting two promotions in less than a year of working at his job and he wasnt suppost to even consider looking for a promotion until at least one to two years of working there and he is number 2 across the board in his entire site of about 600 people who have been there longer than him. Can you help us get out of this credit card and medical rut so we can actually make a life of aour own thats all we want.

My name is Kristen Cosnolo and I am 19 years old and I am writing to you to share a very sad and compelling story about a family that I have come to know and love very much. I met a women by the name of Diana Cantu age 36 and her family of believe it or not but 15 kids. I met her through a close family member of mine earlier this year. When I first found out that she had 15 kids I expected her to live in a big house and have a great job. But then we got to talking and then reality set in when she told me her story. Here are the names and the ages of all of her children: Joe 23, Kristina 21, Hector 20, Carlos 18, Timmy 17, Monica 16, Junior 14, Jesse 13, Mari 12, Theresa 11, Ricky 9, Ruben 7, Mylissa 6, Nathan 4, and last but not least Ray 2. I did not believe that she had this many kids until I met them all. I am sad to say that when I first met them they lived in a bad neighbor hood in a two bedroom apartment with bad water and a stove that didn’t even work. So one day she sat down with me and I had asked her to tell me everything she had been through and If I could live with them just for a week so I could have the knowledge of there very severe and sad struggle. This was my week with what I like to call “the over sized soccer team”.

First I would like to start out by telling you about one of the young ladies that has given up her education to stay home with her mom and help out. Her name is Monica and she is 16 years old. She dropped out of high school her 2nd year with straight A’s to help her mother with the kids. She is very intelligent and goal oriented and would like to do big things with her life but Is unable to pursue anything due to the fact that she is a second mother and a third parent to all of the children in the house. Non stop does she work all day to keep the apartment clean and all the kids bathed and fed so her mom (Diana) can start her day after another sleepless night of worries and tears on how they will survive the next day and how they will eat.

When I heard about her story I had sat there and promised that I would everything and anything I can to help them. Non stop every single day for the past couple of months I have gone with her to churches and shelters so they can get food and other necessities for their house and 8 out of 10 times she is rejected do to the disbelief of her story. I have done everything I can to help them out but my help never seems to be enough.

I am asking for help. This family is a loving and caring family and it hurts very much to see them struggle. Its hard for me too see them go through this everyday. Each child has only one pair of clothing and some don’t even have tooth brushes. All of the younger children go to the same school and are questioned as too why they don’t have coats or the right clothes for this winter season. I am sincerely asking for your help I am only 19 and I cant do it alone. This family disserves much more than this. While keeping faith and praying to god everyday keeps Mrs. Cantu fighting for her children but it just is not enough. Please help me in making this family start a new and good life. I hope that who ever reads this opens there heart and sees that this is not something that anyone should have to go through. I do believe that god has brought me to this family to help and I have given my time, money and love but I cannot do it alone. Dear Tyra, my name is Cheryl. I'm 19 years old and my biggest dream has always been to meet Sidney Crosby. I first fell in love with him when he represented team Canada. He now plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I have been to a couple games in Pittsburhg but i've never been close enough that I could meet him. To me he is the best hockey player ever. I am Getting maried in june to a wonderful man. and I work 40 hrs a week and so does he but a wedding is expensive so thats where most of our money goes. I ve been in several relationships before Joshua and all were very bad abusive men that would control me and lie to me Josh is not like any other man Ive met he respects me and the trust we have for each other is unbelievable, He is truley something special. I have been struggling for a while. I have been laid off for over a year, I have a medical condition with no medical insurance and am seeking work; I have a p.t. job but I have a mortgage and bills so no extra money!

I used to be attractive. I am overweight now due to medical condition but my main concern is my teeth. I am losing my beautiful teeth and cannot smile and feel I am not getting jobs because of this. I need work done on my teeth and I have huge bags under my eyes so I wear fake glasses to hide this!

I feel if I could have work done on my teeth and find out how to hide the dark bags I would at least have a chance to find a job so I dont lose my home and maybe be able to find love again.

My dreams & desires aren't at all crazy but just seem out-of-reach and kind of hopeless at this point. You see, there are many things I want, but I can't afford to do any of them! I've spent most of my short 35 years helping & caring care of others, including my disabled mother. Despite having some health issues myself, I still must press on!Being employed in the healthcare field, I see people everyday in worse condition than me; but I'm in need of a blessing, too! God has given me a generous helping & giving spirit, to the point of neglecting myself at times. I have indeed learned a valuable lesson in helping others (which I love and never regret) but God bless the child that has her own! My wishes for my life at this time is just this....To pay off all of my debts, go back to school to further my education, possibly someday start my own small catering service, have plastic surgery ( a few nips/tucks to remove excess skin/fat) since losing over 100 lbs. after gastric bypass over 2 years ago, own my own home, as well as be able to still help & make a difference in the lives of others. SEE, NOTHING CRAZY...JUST REAL LIFE STUFF!!! Can you? No. Will you help me? PLEASE?!?!

hi tyra my name is eliza i'm 17 years old i turn 18 in march on the 13th, i live in Tucson Arizona. I really love the Tyra show and your show Americas Next Top Model ever since i was 15 years old i always told myself the day i turn 18 i'm gunna apply to try out for america's next top model. All the time people come up to me tell me how beautiful i am and how i should be a model. I do have alot of confidence in myself and i belive i do have something very unique about myself that noone else out there has and i believe i can make it to be America's next top model. I am up for it and would put in all my effort to make it! when i was 15 i got signed with and agency john casa blanca, they told me I'm gorgeous and i could make it as a top model. My parents put so much money into putting me in there modeling school in Scottsdale Arizona and sadly i went nowhere i graduated from there school got signed for two years at the age 15 and they told me i need to get a photographer to take my portfolio, more money on top of the money my parents already put down. Ever since then they never called me back. Yes my heart was crushed but that is NOT gunna stop me from trying to make it as the top model i wanna be and u taught me that! thank you so much trya for that! im about to be 18 now in two weeks this new season of your show already started and i will be watching it waiting for my chance to make it on your show.
