I love making wishes come true, so if there is something you have always wanted to do - tell me about it! The crazier your wish, the more likely it is that I might make it happen!

tyra,
i have a best friend, her name is cleopatra higgins.
she is a big fan of your fashion work, she feels you
are very full of taste.
cleo will be turning 18 years old this year,i am trying my best to make it that she could get to meet you one day. she feels just because we live in the 'hood' she thinks she will never have the chance to read to you on your show her poetry. she always talks about how much she will love to just
have the chance.. and i know you dont like when your fans have no hope.
hopefully if you have the time just to hear cleos poems i know she will love every moment of how much you made her dream come true god willing. keisha

Hello Ms. Banks!
I've always wanted to do runway...but unfortunatly, i'm only 5 EVEN! I think it's just NOT fair that there is a height requirement for mainstream runway modeling. Why is there one? I modeled between the ages of 9-13 (i'm 25 now) and it was only for ads. When I tried to further my career i was always told i was too short for runway =( Perhaps you should do a Shortest ANTM on your show...lol. No really. I would LOVE to be a contestant.
signed,
America's Next Shortest Top Model =) (from Delware)

God Bless.

Hey Tyra! First I would like to say that I am a huge fan of your shows(The Tyra Show & ANTM). The thing that I've always wanted to do is go on an hot air ballon ride and to take my daughter to Walt Disney World. I started taking my daughter on vacations when she was just 9months old, and for the first time last summer we were unable to go b/c I had to quit my job do to terrible migrane headaches. I hope to hear from you and hope to see you soon. I hope you can make our dreams come true.

Hi Tyra, am soooooo addicted to your shows and articles; it’s like I’ve known you all my life.
My name is Miss Chika Iwuoha, Nigerian. This is my story; IT’S KINNDA LONG…BUT PLS TAKE OUT TIME TO READ IT. I promise,IT WOULD BE WORTH IT.
I’m 23, a university graduate (2006). I studied geology and mining (my father’s dream) but I discovered that I had this unflinching passion for beauty. While I was in the university I nursed a big dream of becoming a beauty goddess someday. I have an unflinching flare for beauty and skin care so after my university schooling, I enrolled and graduated from a Cosmetology institute and a Makeup School (both here in Nigeria). Day after day, my soul soared to provide scientifically advanced skin treatments that are completely customized to the special needs of the African/African-American woman. This pulled me to further study on the skin types of the women of color and their responses to existing cosmetics and I found out that destiny has reserved a special seat for me: to produce high-tech ingredients and extraordinary fast-action formulas. Where Acne, skin tags, freckles, pregnancy pounds & mask, age spots, darkspots and crème discolorations enters the blemish-free zone while a newer more even skin tone emerges! My dream is to build a world-wide string of beauty empires that give products & services which target the common concerns of the Women of Color such as dark spots/knuckles, chemically damaged skin, blemishes, protection against environmental factors like temperature extremes, Pollutants, diet, stress , oily shine control etc. I have a strong passion to be the very best in what I do (Make up and total skin care for women of color). I have got some professional makeup skills and skin care expertise, but I want to take up my profession in cosmetology and professional makeup artistry; to the next level. Sometimes, my country of origin and people’s opinion about the ‘downside’ destiny of women of color seem to discourage these big dreams of mine. But when I listen to and read about inspiring women like you,It re-energizes me and assures me that these dreams can come through.
My ultimate goal is to own my own Beauty Secret, Skin therapeutic and Facial enhancement Product; a beauty empire that has it’s Product basically suitable for the various skin types of the African woman- the product will offer ‘tried & proven’ content reasons, why the African woman should prefer it to the existing foreign beauty products. I am not necessarily inventing something new but through thorough research and study, I plan to work on what already exists to completely satisfy the women of color. To produce the best-selling cosmetics and beauty products and advices that completely suits the various skin types of the tropical lady (the African or African-American woman). To be able to positively influence the fast-growing female generation: to be a role model, influence, direct and courageously strengthen them through God’s word and good morals thereby harnessing the potentials and abilities in them.I believe that, by getting a thorough training aboard(preferably in the United states and coming back to africa to establish a better institute than I saw, then am graciously contributing to building and improving the feminine gender like you do.
You and I know that for this dream to be reality,I need to studied intensively aboard. My parents cannot afford to send me abroad for this training. Pls help this dream come true. Some of my friends say I talk and act like you do, I tell them that you are my mentor from afar off! One of my life wishes is that you call me or contact me personally! You have improved my life and so do I want to do to other young women, Please help this wishcome true by mailing or calling me.
Pls do contact me ASAP! Pls don’t watch this dream die. Please help this dream come true by mailing or calling me. I’m very willing to be taught and trained in the beauty industry.
I would be expecting to hear from you. I would be immensely grateful.

Hey Tyra, I commented you a little bit ago with info i found about a hand cream, which i hope helps! and as i stated in the message, it really does mean a lot to me, as im sure it does most every woman, that you care so much. to have such a strong female to look up to, and no matter what age the woman, can look to you as a role model. and the things you talk about, most wont dare, and thats great to! I love that you dont care about stating your flaws and sharing them, talking about things that most would just hide from the world. so... although im not sure as to which "wish" i would want "granted" as some say, as im honestly not really expecting anything back from this, not to mention i have many things im wishing for at the moment, i feel that im okay with speaking up, and telling my story. well, my family's story.
For starters my name is Tiffany, my Fiance's name is Daniel, and im 41 weeks pregnant with our son, whom is going to be Daniel II, and dan has a three year old daughter whom is named mackenzie.
Daniel is in the army, and is serving in iraq. he has been deployed since october, and i must say it is the hardest thing i have had to deal with. to handle him being so far while im pregnant with our son... its honesly taken a toll out on me. But, i wouldnt trade it for the world. we are very proud to be having our son, and im very proud of daniel for what he has to go through everyday. he is the love of my life, and i stand by him of course.
we werent able to get married before he deployed... so we are going to on his r&r, and we are very excited =]
we arnt sure exactly when he gets his r&r, but had decided we were just going to marry in a court house. he wanted it to be a big nice wedding, said that he wanted to do it right, but in all reality we decided it was best to not. we dont have the money, and we have a family to take care of. and, even though we both wish it could be nice, it isnt about the wedding, it is about the marriage. about us joining as one. spending our lifes together as man and wife, raising our family together, thats whats importnant. and we are so happy with that of course.
i am at the moment staying with family, so that we could save money to hopefuly get a place to rent soon, so that we have a home for him to come home to for r&r and ofcourse for when he comes back for good as well.(when i say for good i dont mean that he wont ever go back, i just mean that that tour will be over) we so badly want to have a place to call home, and since we could never afford to buy one, we hope once we have the money, there are desent ones open for rent that wont cost to to much.
one thing that im really wanting is to maybe loose weight and maybe find somthing to lighten my stretch marks after i have the baby. this pregnancy has taken a BIG toll on my body, and i would love to maybe loose some of it before dan comes home on his leave. it hurts so much how people are about my weight gain. its the most joyus time in my life, im carrying my child, and yet complete strangers can put me in tears. and although thats partially due to being so hormonal when you are pregnant, i dont think any woman could hold back tears when they are asked if they are having twins, or triplets, or you have people saying things like your a cow, or you wont ever loose that weight... even if they arnt saying it to be mean, it really hurts so much. i was 105 before i got pregnant, and i am honestly, and this hurts physically and emotionally, 181 now. i was told that daniel II is 8 lbs 15 ounces, and they arnt inducing me until march 6th, so he will be about 10 pounds when i have him. i have stretch marks everywhere. people look disgusted when they see them, and that hurts so much too. to just see it in there eyes. they are all dark red and purple. and on my belly they go all the way to about 2 1/2 inches above what used to be my belly button, and then i have them all over my butt, and inside my thighs, and then my chest. all the weight gain is not just my belly, as im sure you knew, i have exsess weight everywhere. i deffinetly need help with it. with me going to basically be a single mom until dan is home, i wont be able to go to a gym. so it will be so hard. and i just... so badly want to look okay when dan comes home for leave.
and of course our number one priority is the kids. We, as every decent parent does, want the best life for them.
i guess in the end it all runs together, my wish is that everything will work out, and our family will have everything come together to make us stronger. maybe make the rest of the deployment a little easier for the family.
I really dont expect you to do anything for us, its all up to god, but i felt if you could talk about your problems in life, then i can share mine too. after all there are many out there with the same problems as me, and even more out there with worse problems. and we know in the end we will make it through anything.
Anyways i want to thank you again for all you have done for me and for many... you have helped everyone in one way or another, even if they havent realized it yet. Thanks again!
Sincerly,
Tiffany & internally kicking Daniel II =]

Hey Tyra,
This is Sweneda chillin' out in my hometown of p-cola Florida. I need to, have to, must have one moment to shine on a stage in front of a crowd and do what I love ....SING!. Since I was little I have loved to sing and write poetry but I always just saw myself as the skinny girl with big glasses and never really let myself go for my dreams. Well I think it's time I crawl out of my shell for myself and for my 4 year old daughter, synia. I don't want her to think she can't reach for her dreams because mommy was to afraid. So hey if your looking for someone to sing a tune on your show of "wild dreams" then I hope I'm your gal. Peace and Love. Oh, and I really can sing!!!!
Sweneda aka Tookie!!

Hi, Tyra! I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your show. I watch your show almost everyday, since my early retirement, in November 2006. It would be nice to meet you someday! I've never had the pleasure of being in New York and my greatest wish is to be on your show and get to meet you.
I am allotted a very small pension for my retirement income, so I would ask humbly that my traveling expenses be taken care of so I would be able to come see you. I would also like you and I to hangout together and go to a Broadway Play or Musical Performance while I am there and I’d like to go to your favorite resturant.
I am a cancer survivor since 1999. God has blessed me through my ordeal with six weeks of radiation treatments. Two of my doctors advised me to go through a regiment of chemo-treatments and then six weeks of radiation treatments; however, I opted not to. I made the choice not to have the chemo treatments! I am so glad I told those two doctors that I would NOT go along with their decision to have both treatments. I suggested to only go through the radiation treatments, especially after the Kat-Scan proved that cancer cells were not in my Limp nodes. Let me tell you with the support of my friends and my family praying for me, I am cancer free! God is so good! And thank goodness I had a positive attitude about all of this. I just kept the faith and knew that I would be cured!! By having a positive attitude, keeping the faith in my Creator and Healer, made the experience of going through this cancer nightmare much easier.
So if I might ask for a trip to New York to be on your show and having the opportunity to meet you would mean so much to me. My family and I thank you very much. God Bless and keep you, Tyra.

I would love the opportunity to show my appreciation for my life all the people (so many with great contribution) that set theirselves aside for me. I am at the point of my life where all of my feelings of worthlessness mean absolutely nothing.. i've had this complex f wondering why people have been so drawn to me and are willing to do the most outrageous things for me when I have NOTHING no money not even a decent job. but I realize that those were experiences I needed in order to recognize that things or my job don't make ME and I think It's grand for sooo many other people to have seen that in me and treat me as such I would love to show my gratitude to all of them the young black married couple with 5 kids (and on on the way)that gave me a car for a tip when I didn't even know their names. I don't come from having a lot so for me there is nothing I personally could afford to do to show these types of people how their vision of me is the only reason i've been able to go on and live. I want people to know that I haven't and will never forget the affect a single person can have on another. Thanks.

cleo will be turning 18 years old this year,i am trying my best to make it that she could get to meet you one day. she feels just because we live in the 'hood' she thinks she will never have the chance to read to you on your show her poetry. she always talks about how much she will love to just
have the chance.. and i know you dont like when your fans have no hope.
hopefully if you have the time just to hear cleos poems i know she will love every moment of how much you made her dream come true god willing. keisha

Hello Ms.

God Bless.

I hope to hear from you and hope to see you soon. I hope you can make our dreams come true.

Dear Tyra, I love your show and what you do. I am a 28year old woman from Tanzania East Africa currently living in America. I got my BA in Social work and sociology. Tyra, I have always wanted to work with agencies that help eliminate poverty and help eliminate the impact of diseases around the world. I was born and raised in the third world country so I lived the experiences of being poor, getting sick for a curable disease and not having the means to get help. I want to help other people have a better life. Tyra, I would like to work with any agency that help other people or just be a spokes person for them. Please help me find how I can do that and rich my goal. Thanks in advance.

I now evry single song and lyrics to all of the songs from High school Musical,High School Musical 2, and Hairspray. I am his biggest fan!! Its even hard to explain in words!! All my friends always get tired of me singing or even talking about him. If you grant this wish, it would be the best day of my life just to meet him in person. PLEASE try and make my wish come true!! Even though I'm only 12 years old I speak my heart out for many things and this is one of the many things. xoxo

Dear Tyra, I love your show and what you do. I am a 28year old woman. currently living in America. I got my BA in Social work and sociology. Tyra, I have always wanted to work with agencies that help eliminate poverty and help eliminate the impact of diseases around the world. I was born and raised in a third world country so I lived the experiences of being poor, getting sick for a curable disease and not having the means to get help. I want to help other people have a better life. Tyra, I would like to work with any agency that help other people or just be a spokes person for tham. Please help me find how I can do that and rich my goal. Thanks in advance.

Thanks.
