I have always wanted to know about this one part of my family.....my mom's dad, derald dean fortune, he had nothing to do with my mother since she was born but i think it was because my grandmother didnt want him to know about her....i have been looking for him since i first learned his name....all i really wish for is to know who my grandfather is and learn more about him...all i know about him is that he's from ohio....i dont know if hes still alive or if hes dead i just wish to know more about my family because i dont really know anything which makes me feel as if im a nobody...it would make me really happy to know what hes like and to let him know he had a daughter and has three grandchildren out here looking for him hoping to meet him one day

Hello there Tyra, first off i love watching your show especially when you make wishes come true for those in need. That is why i am writing i am a 31 year old mother of 5, 4 boys and 1 girl. I have led a wild life and for that i lost my kids, i recently got back my littlest son and i have been sober for 4 years. I know my children are going through alot and where they live now they don't have alot, they are lacking clothes and shoes and toys to play with and school stuff, i am not working right now i am living with my parents and i have been trying to get my life back to where it was before the partying and wild stuff. I am now attending college for the first time in my life trying to get myself a better education to get a good job and show my kids that i can take care of them, and maybe get a place of our own and start our life over as a family. Also i just wish that they one day forgive me and know that i am truly sorry and hope that things change back to how it was, thank you for atleast getting my letter.
