hey Tyra....my name is Ashley and i was writing you because you said you "love making wishes come true" so here it is.....my aunt Neashell is 28 and she is a single mother of 4 when she was little she got really sick with something called scarlet fever which caused the enamel on her teeth to decay....with her only having medicaid she could only do little to fix her problem....so basically I'm asking can you help my aunt fix her smile!!.....it would help her self esteem...it might seem like something small to you and ever one else that don't have this problem but it is big to her and all of her family an friends because we see how it effects her self esteem. my mother also has a gum diseases called periodontal which basically means the diseases is slowly eating away at her gums....shes 35 with 3 kids which included me...she also only has medicaid...i think there both to young to be worried about there smile..i think there beautiful either way but this could truly make a big difference in there life....my granny bends over backwards for all 7 of her grandchildren ,my mother and aunt...there is nothing wrong with her (Thank God!!) but i would like something special for her like a day at the spa or something small like that but all of us are living check to check so if you could please help us it would be greatly appreciated.........thank you for your time either way it goes....love Ashley

Dear Tyra,
My best friend, Marisa, and I are 15 years old and both in the tenth grade. Her and i both have a dream that might not seem so CRAZY to adults, but to us as teenagers it seem very hard to reach. We really would love to go overseas, preferably in Africa, and preform community service. We have wanted to do this for so long, and yet the prices of programs like this are very high. I live with my mom, brother, and sister, and with my mom being a single working mom, it would be very hard for her to pay for a trip like this. Sometimes I catch myself getting wrapped up in the moment of a lot of materialistic teens in my community. I have been given such a beautiful life, and i really, truly, want to give back. I love the feeling of putting a smile on someone's face by doing a simple favor for them. This would make me feel so accomplished, and it would remind me that there are a lot of people out in the world who have tough lives. Thank you so much for reading this, all I want to do is give back and create good relations with children across the world, because in the end, the future is in my generation's hands. The only person she know as her father is me and that’s the way we will keep it since we ended up getting married. But My wife and have been married for almost a year now and we have talked and decided that this is something she really wants to do is have another baby. As her husband I want to make my wife happy but we have done the research and this is a very expensive surgery. It is anywhere from 4,000 to 7,000 dollars. Money we can not seem to start saving because of the need to take care of our family we have now. We have even looked for insurence that will cover this and have no found any. I am a 17 year old girl who has always dreamed of modeling. Its a huge thing for me. I don't think anyone really knows how bad I want it. Its not like I don't have the looks for it. I am not saying I am gorgeous, but I am skinny and tall. The other day in school a girl I don't even know told me I should be a model. Tyra I have a couple problems though. I don't have the money to make a portfolio to get started. Another problem is I dress modestly. I only wear stuff with sleeves and that goes to my knees. I also only wear bathing suits that cover my stomach. Tyra I know that if someone would help me get stared I could show people what potential I have. Carol never really has any down time at all. She goes to work early in the morning then comes home to herchildren. And to take a little stress away from her mother, Sy'Era stays with her gandma. But she servives off little to nothing, compared to her 3 brothers and little sister. Sy'Era hardly ever asks for anything, unless she absolutely needs it. And Carol hides her pain in smoking and ocassionally drinking. I think they both really deserve a much needed vacation. Because Sy'Era is like my little sister, and Carol is like my secoond mom. So if you would make my wish come true, to see them happy, relaxed, and stress free for a day or two, it would make my day for years to come.

i don't know where to start. First of all, i just want to tell you that you've been my ultimate inspiration since foreverrr. Matter of fact, i ' m watching america's next top modl right now, cycle 1. I love both your shows , i love your work as a host and a producer. I ' m fourteen and i have big dreams to become something that i think i can pull off, but i never told anybody. I secretly wanted to be a model and after that i want to produce some movies or something , but i don't know where and when to start . My close friends and even my family don ' t even know i want to model because my family wants me to go to college and get the moneys worth by becoming a doctor or a lawyer. My mom is working over time alot just to get money to pay for my tuition for college. I want her to save, so i ' m just trying the best i can at school to get a scholarship. You show really motivates me about not reaching my dream, but chasing it. Like you said at the BET honors, by the way congratulations(: , you said ' even if the door was locked with a padlock and with a combination i get up again and open it' . You've opened so many doors and you've made it easier for young girls like me to pursure their dream faster and i thank you for that. You've done alot and been through alot. My childhood hasn't been that bad , but my parents are divorced and i could barely remember when i was really young that my parents fought alot. I barely see my dad now, but i see him once in a while. Living with my grandparents while my mom works at night, was nothing different. But they had raised me every since my parents split up .I love them alot. My grandma is pretty old now, but looking good , but we told her ro retire , but she doesn't . She thinks about us more than herself because she still wants to support us and have a better life than she had in the philippines. My family means alot to me and i feel so lucky to have the life i have now. Your show always put a smile on my face and how everybody is beautiful in their own and unique way. Tyra, not only was modeling is a dream of mine, but i've always wanted to meet you for a while now. Your such a beautiful and down to earth person, and i love your personality and how you don't care about all the negativity people said about you. hi! tyra my name is luz im a single mother of three,ive been going thru depression now,before I tell u my one wish,I would like to tell u a little bit about me.when I was a young girl I had a dream to become a hair stylist but that dream went down the drain because I got kicked out of school at 15,I met this guy a month after I got kicked ou of school and next thing u know we were boyfriend girlfriend,I thought that this guy was my ticket to getting back to school and making my dream come true,but insted he made me stay home and wanted that I get pregnant I wasnt ready for a child because I was only 15 and I really wanted was to finish school,anyway I end up being pregnat, I got so depress because I knew my life was going to take another turn,because of my depression I gaind a lot of weight close to 60lbs only at 15,I had the baby and I was still depress so insted of loosing the weight I gaind even more,I had suffer ever since because my sons father and I broke up after that and I was so hurt because I didnt want my son to grow up without a father.I have lost all the weight after breaking up that all I was left with was a saggy body.I got pregnant again at 21 this time I madesure I ate right and not gain a lot but it didnt made a diffrence because my body sag more.I try everything that I can think of to fix my body but never had any luck I wanted sugery but didnt have the money to do it,I was alway working out trying to stay in shape but the sagginest of my stomach never change this problem has affected my life,I got pregnant again at 26 and this time again I was depress so I gaind 50lbs,Ive been trying to keep my weight down but what stop me is that every time I loose the weight my breast and my stomach stays the same.I gained weight again now im in my highest after 6lbs Ive gained weight before but not close to 200 I always gained between 160 to 180 and now im depress.I went back to school and got my diploma last yr in 2007 and now im in school training to become a medical asst,I want to be able after I graduate from school that I can confident and feel good about the way I look.I dont want to hide my self from people since thats what ill be doing most with my career.please TYRA hlp me I ran out of hope.
