Hope all continues to be well with you Ms.Tyra. I watch your show and love how you are empowering women of our generation and younger. I admire the relationship you have with your mom, and I'm in need of help with my two teenage girls. They are not 'gone wild' or anything, but I have to admit that our relationship is strained and has been for years. I'm a single mom and it's very defficult to provide for them, hold on to your dreams,keep them in line, and somehow manage the day to day stresses of life. I know this isn't spectacular story, but maybe them meeting you and your mom,can somehow give us inspiration and hope that we can one day have something similar. My oldest will be off to college in less than 2 years, she's not giving her grades her all.I'm just a concerned mom reaching out and hope that this too will come to past..God Bless you and continue to bless this world with your spirit!!

Okay so really what is up with the outrageous cost of a college education? I wish that I wasn't finishing school with so much debt in student loans, I mean I want to go on to get a masters but the cost of my bachelors is damn near ridiculous! I have dreams to eventually start a women's ministry, but it scares me to even go there because, before I can, I've got this necessary evil to take care of. I mean to have no worries of college fees either you gotta be on that Rockefeller status or living under a rock to get any sort of help. And seriously with all of those stupid scholarship websites out there that are giving students false hope, student loans end up being the only way to go. Yea, yea it's an investment, but dag!!! Oh don't think I'm lazy, I work, and just recently moved out of my momma's house, trying to take some personal responsibility for myself (um so what was I thinking), it's kind of like you said in that Essence article, "my fear drives me a little bit." Being a failure, not making rent, defaulting on student loans, or still paying on them in my forties keeps me working and planning. Even if I can't do anything about it now, complacency is NOT an option.

I just got done watching a show about women who are addicted to plastic surgery! i would like to know what happened to these women that they thought that they were so ugly that they needed to change that much about themselves. I would love to fix one thing about me and thats my teeth, but to have 10 or more surgeries to fix my face or body is horrible. One lady was even $100,000.00 in debt, and still wanted more done! That's crazy! Why are people like this? I would love to see a show about this!

Hi Tyra you are a good Inspiration to myself and my wonderful children.Tyra i am 42 years old and things are really heard for us i lost my dad a few months ago and my life as torn apart ever since things are not the same i am back up with my mortgage because of funeral expenses it was a sudden death so we werent prepared even though we were struggling for a long time all my bills are piled up and i dont wont to loose our home.my husband work very hard to provide for us.But he fell ant work so he lost alot of time not working and i can hardly make it with my take home pay.So Tyra that would be my greatest wish if you can really help me save my home i wil be grateful.

Everyone talks about how they hate their job, and I don't want to be another one of those kids in the crowd tlaking about how much they hate work. I want to LOVE my life, and EVERY part of it. I have watched your show a few times and really love it. However, I don't always have time being that I am a single working mother with 3 kids. The one wish I am asking for is a very fun but relaxing vacation for me and my kids and my mom! My kids have gone through alot with me in the past 10 years.....I went through being physically abused my thier father and having to practically run away....only to fall into the arms of a guy who stuck my son in the dryer because he wet his pants. It's been crazy and we are finally getting over all the drama but we never really have time (or money) to just get away from it all and spend family time. I ask to bring my mother along because she has been the best! She has been there for me through it all. She has shed tears of hurt and joy with me. When I left my husband she picked up and moved just to be around me and my kids. Now she is there for me and back me up whenever I need it. She has NEVER gone on a nice vacation and I feel that she deserves one. I think the time together will also help my 10 year old daughter who has gone through soooo much and the toll is showing in her emotions. Please help me with this Tyra!

I do have high goals and yes they may not be acedemically but its still a dream that you could, of all people, make come true.I WANT TO BE THE FIRST AMERICAS NEXT TOP TEEN MODEL! I'm 16 years old with a mind like clay haha. i take in so much of what you say..i find myself using your tips on a daily basis.FIND THE LIGHT WITH YOUR FACE AND BATHE IN IT! One of my favorites. :] well thats my dream and i'm trying as hard as i can to reach you. but I wanna be americas next top TEEN model. Dear Tyra, My name is Angela and I just want to start by saying I love all of your shows and that I think you seem like a really wonderful person.
Now for my wish...My wish is that my Quadruplet neices and or nephews will be healthy when they are born in December 2008, since this is not something you can help with I was wondering if you could help us find organizations to help my sister in law and my future nieces and nephews have a wonderful start in life. We are going to need some serious help with all the necessities! So Tyra if you ever get around to reading this, since there are so many...could you help us!?! We would be forever grateful.
