Dear Tyra , I 17 in my senior year , with so much stress. All I want to do is to go to my dream college and get my degree and Graduate with honors and a great career that I love.I worked so hard for this momment my grade point average is a 3.0. I havent really had the life of a normal teen . I have sacrifice my social life in order to focus on school and my part time in which I help my pay for some family bills. Everything is about money now, I have the dream the passion and dedication but my financial status is stoping me. I cant understand how I am not eligible for fiancial aid if my paents can hardly afford to pay the rent. My father has two jobs in order to support the family.We are a house hold of 6 , and everyday as I wake up I almost give up on my dream because there is always an obtacle but at the end of the day something just stops me and I say no I cant fall I must follow it because this is what I worked all my life for and its my time to reach my dream. Hi Tyra, first off I would like to tell you that I love your show...you are goofy at times and you also help others on your show...thats why I love it. If I could have one wish though it would be to meet Taylor Swift. I think she is an amazing country singer, not to mention wears the cutest clothes. Seeing her on tv and on shows doing interviews she seems like a very friendly person. Why I want to meet Taylor is because I think she is not only a great singer but she is a great role model for all ages. While some teens are out partying she is out doing what she love to do..SING. What Taylor has taught me is that if you want to do something you should just go for it. I have always wanted to learn how to play a guitar but never gave it a try. When I first heard Taylor Swift she inspired me to want to learn. So as of now I am trying to save up enough money to buy a guitar and learn. Hey Tyra! It's me Ernesha! I am a 19 year old mother with a 3 year old child. I have wanted nothing more in my life than to become an aspiring model. But of course, having a child doesn't make dreams the easiest to believe in. plus, once I had my daughter I thought that me becoming a model would be impossible. All I could think of was stretch marks and a messed up body and not having any help with my child. But here I am, continuing to believe that my dream is still possible. I made it one of my goals to graduate from high school. In which I did a year early with honors in 'o6. I graduated from Dorsey high school and decided to further my education at Cal State Dominguez Hills. In which I currently attend. I made sure that I would be that one teen mother who didn't use my child as an excuse for not finishing school and have a higher education. Plus, I wanted so much more for my little girl kassidy. Everything that my life wasn't. There have been times that I looked in the mirror and cried. Thinking that my dream that i've dreamed forever would never come true. And it hasn't. But what makes me deal a great deal is that this little person who seems as if she'd been in this world before is right there telling me," Mommy don't cry, it's gone be better." And I believe her. My 3 year old daughter. I wish that I can give her so much more. And all I want is for her to see me as something different than "My mom who had me at age 15." And to persue what I've dreamed of that seems like an eternity! Tyra, when some people ask me so I still want to be a model and I tell them yes. I can see that they don't have any hope for me. But everyday I keep in the back of my head that dreams do come true. And I hold it together with this little statement "mommy don't cry, it's gone be better." Dear Tyra,
I never really believed in doing something like this, but this wish really is close to my heart. My best friend and I are seniors at our high school. With graduation coming so quickly, we both finally realize that going separate ways is right around the corner.
We both live in Washington state. My friend is going to stay in Washington, but I plan on going to Boston. We will literally be across the country from each other. The hardest part is that I will only be able to come home from Christmas and maybe a couple summers. But, during most summers I want to nanny in New York City. Both of us know it will be a tough parting, but we have to.
Because this might be our last whole summer to hang out together, we wanted to do something special. So, back in October we decided we would take a trip to England, maybe taking the underground train to Paris. Now we see that we can't afford that. All of our work money will be going toward books for college and what not and our parents say that won't give us any money to go because of all the upcoming expenses.
I guess what I am asking you is to help me and my best friend enjoy our last summer together. Even if the trip is short we could make it memorable. I hope you can help us out!

Dear Tyra, First I enjoy your shows. You are so very talented. As for the comment of what is it I would really want to do? For several years I have been ill. I had Ulcerative Colitis. Then, the doctors made a mistake which took me into a new demension. I nearly died several times. All of this time my 2 kids were in high school watching me. Somedays they would come home from school only to find out that I almost died and at the hospital ...again. While I was ill, I wanted to show my kids that no matter what was happening in your life that you always could be doing something of value. I wrote a poetry book, a book about my mother-in-law's life, my father-in-laws life, and my mothers life as well as did a lot of scrapebooking. But, I also wrote a children's activity book on manners. More than anything I would like to publish this book but it is too expensive for me to publish because of all of the doctor bills that were added up. Not to say that I'm poor, I'm rich in many ways. I would love to see this book published if anything to show me, my family and the world that no matter what is happening to you in your life, you can do something special that will effect many people. I have great confidence that someday this book will be published. I am just getting older. My kids are now married, I am okay, but only can work a few hours a week as a sub teacher as well as an entertainer (I'm a magician, ventriloquist) but that's not what I 'm writing about at all. I just would like to see my activity book published. It would certainly make me feel the times I missed my children's activities etc. and the times they came home to an empty home somehow validated.
