Hi Tyra, My name is deanna Beals i'm 22years old and i live in Nampa Idaho. My biggest dream is to start my own dance studio for all kind of people and mostly for people that has a disability. To make the story short in 2006 I was in this relationship that i thought that was great but it went horrable wrong. The guy that I was with turn out to be abusive and i was with him for about 2years will i ended up getting pregnant I had six missages loosing them left&right it was horrable he kept abusing me. 2007 i found out that i was pregnant with my 7th pregancey i had a hard time with this one my daughter Cheyenne was born 4 months early Aug6/2007 she wasn't to be born till November 27. I was in the hospital for 3weeks trying to keep her in & their was this doctor that kept telling me that she was not going to make it, but in my heart i knew that this one is spacial and that i wasn't going to give up on her. The doctor asked me to pull the plug and i refused she made it but she will be compleltly brain dead and that she woun't be like other kids. I gave her up for adoption and i want to do it for her. My mother is my hero. She is my optimism when I’m feeling down, my shoulder when I need to cry. She has sacrificed many things throughout my life to make me happy, something that you don’t see very often anymore. I’m extremely thankful for all that she has done for me, for all that she is to me. Everyday I pray that I can come close to repaying her for all that she is.

About her life
My mother was pregnant with my sister after her first sexual experience at the tender age of 16. As the world was a different place back in those days, when she told her parents her news she was not only kicked out of their house, but withdrawn from school! Her right to an education was pulled from underneath her, crushing her hopes and dreams. My sister’s father wanted nothing to do with the child, so my mother was on her own in the world. After a few years of staying with friends[which had dwindled due to the birth of her first child] and at times even in tents in the woods because she had nowhere else to go, she met my father. They loved eachother from the beginning, and within two years I was born and my brother was on the way. Shortly there-after my father began to have an alcohol problem, being verbally and at times even physically abusive while drinking. My mother stuck around for thirteen long years trying to hold on for us, the children. In October 1995 their divorce was official.

My mother started driving a truck as she was uneducated and needed a way to make enough money to support us. She often worked 16 hour days 6 and 7 days a week to keep the bills paid and food on the table. She has been a hard-worker her entire life, struggling to give us everything we needed. Her only dream was to eventually own a home. To have her name on the title of a place she would never have to run from- a sanctuary if you will. She finally purchased a mobile-home in October of 2002- the day the papers were finalized was the happiest day of her life, I swear. She had two mortgages on the home and struggled to keep up with it, but she managed to keep her head above the water. Then, in 2005, the mobile home was severely damaged by a hurricane. The house was condemned due to the finding of mold in the walls from the wind breaking the seal and allowing water to get into the walls. She immediately contacted FEMA, but they advised that since she didn’t have home-owner’s insurance they wouldn’t be able to help her much. They got her a loan with the SBA to purchase a new mobile home for the lot and within a few months she was able to move back in. Now still paying on the two mortgages from the old mobile home AND the loan for the new mobile home she found it tough to keep her head above the water, but she succeeded for some time.

In June of 2006 my mother’s beloved 13 year old chow-wolf mix Crystal was diagnosed with cancer and given only months to live. We had this dog from the time she was 3 days old, bottle feeding her until she could eat on her own. This dog rode in the truck with my mother, and was more like a daughter than a pet. My mother was heart broken. Then, about a month later my mother was diagnosed with breast, lymph node, and lung cancer. Surgery was done to remove her affected breast and lymph nodes. She was scheduled for 3 months of severe chemotherapy and 6-8 weeks of radiation. Due to the almost daily doctor’s appointments my mother was unable to continue driving over the road which is all that she knew. Luckily, the company she works for put her in the office offering her ten dollars an hour. She knew that she could not pay her bills with her measly weekly check, but also that she didn’t have any other choice. She worked throughout her entire chemotherapy and radiation, rarely complaining of the pain and nausea she continuously endured. Towards the end of her chemo we had to put Crystal to sleep. It was a very sad day for all of us. Throughout everything I never saw my mother lay down and succumb to her illness- She is the strongest person I’ve ever met.

My mother has since completed the chemotherapy and radiation and was deemed a survivor last year. It was one of the happiest days of my life. She has underwent many reconstructive surgeries, the final to be completed this summer. Her hair is growing back, but she can’t seem to find a comfortable length. Through everything my mother lost a lot of self-esteem and has yet to gain it back.

I don’t believe there is anyone in this world that deserves a make-over or a day to be pampered more than my mother. The strength and courage that shines through her persona every day is truly amazing and inspiring, and pushes me to pursuit my dreams as I know that this is what she lives for.

My biggest dream of all time is to become a model.I am 12 yeras old.I have wanted to be a model sence I was 6 years old.I love every aspect of modeling.Modeling is a really big passion of mine.I wish I could live and breath modeling all day.I have done so many modeling contest.But almost all of them were scames or they just cost so much money.One contest I went the woman was saying the whole time that it would not cost any money.Then I got a call back saying that that I won.Then she asked me and my mom to come down and sign some papers and pick some papers up.She said it would cost 5,000 dollars.It would cost 5,000 dollars just for the dress 2 plain tickets a hotel room.It was a little to much.My mom said she would support me with what ever I do.But we just have not found the right place to look for.But my mom said that she would support me with what ever I do.Modeling is a life long dream for me.I want to take that that path and head on that journey.Because I am going to be Americas Next Top Model.Wach out for world because I am here and here to shine.

My name is Daneel, I'm a 19 yr old PROUDLY South African young lady and I'm hoping you can help me out... (Highly unlikely...but I’ll try! :)

I've been designing ever since I can remember; it's my greatest passion in life.

The problem is that I can't seem to find any institutions in SA that offer bursaries for fashion design and the courses here are extremely pricy (especially because I have to pay for it myself).

Currently, I'm working full time and studying bcom accounting part time (not because i like it but because i know it will secure my future financially)

I've done a lot of soul searching recently and I’ve come to the realization that by NOT doing what we were born to do is a sin. We all have passions and talents and dreams and if we don't follow our hearts and just do it...then who are we really??

We were all born with a purpose in life; I believe that by following my passion, I can help a lot of people who are in my situation.

My wish would be for you and maybe some celebrity buddies to bring attention to the fact that the laws in this country make it impossible for someone like myself to go back to work after becoming disabled.
