Hi Tyra,

I want to set up a summer program for male and females and use it to motivate them to go for their dreams. I could really use your expert advice. In my part of the program I would like to combine a fashion show and hair show. There are a lot of inner city youth that aspire to be fashion designers, models, cosmetologist, make up artist, photographers, and beauticians,. I want to establish a program where they can take the skills and passions that they have and get training and direction and just go for it. I would like to set it up with some teachers to train them, and mentors to guide and motivate them, and a good old fashion contest at the end to see who is the best of our best. Let them compete, sort of like your top model on a smaller scale and Fashion Runway. The problem is I have no idea of how to start… can you help me? I want to help them become young entrepreneurs. Have professionals come in and show them how to start up a business, create a portfolio, market them-selves. I welcome any suggestions you can offer… I would be elated if you would grace us with your presence once we have set it all up. If not in person, just some helpful advice. I know we are trying to take on a lot, its just that we believe in our kids and want them to succeed. Thanks for all you do to inspire our youth.

I never thought I’d ever have to go to someone to help me with my dreams. I’m the type that wants to peruse it on my own, but I don’t believe I would ever need acting classes, because I believe God knows.. that every since I was little.. everyday.. of my life. I make acting a reality in everything I do. I’m hopeless and in need of help. If this help from you is what I have been praying for comes true.. it will definitely make me happy. Who doesn’t say oh I want to be a singer or actress?? Like me.. am I foolish to say? It’s a BIG dream.. and very hard. I believe my talent is real and not like one of thoughs people like… I can act and sing.. but really like horrible at it. Noo, I would save my time and embarrassment then to sit here and write this to you of how I feel. Its easy to say, but hard to show. MY heart is telling me to go for it.. I believe God is telling me hey go to tyra, because I have no where else to go. By the way, Im a teenage mom to a 3 year old daughter. Being so young with a child is hard, because I cant seem to find myself when everything that I do revolves around her. They don’t believe in me and I want that feeling of someone to look up to like you and believe that this dream will come true. I love to see how close you and your mom are. She supported you threw modeling and I wish that I would have had a mom to look at me and be positive and influence me, help me to further my dream as a career. My mom puts me down and is Always negative. I hate doing this… but in my heart God keeps telling me to go to you. I don’t have support from my parents. I’m the worm far down in the dirt. If that expresses enough of how I feel. My life now, is about my girl and seeing to her. I don’t have time for actual drama and theatre. I don’t want your money.. I just want someone to listen and take a look at me and say hey she’s got talent. I just need help into how to get there?? With the agencies. I WILL pay for it most definitely. If its any trouble for you in the cost? I will pay you back. Its never about the money.. NEVER I promise. LIKE NEVER!! I Want to fulfill my DREAM MY LIFE MY ACTING. Because I cant stop! Its haunting me. I love it! Its my personality! MY boyfriend says I would be a good actress, because when were fighting my voice and emotions change a lot. He can say I’m emo.. but being so many different personalities and even a comedian is apart of my lifestyle. MY boyfriend pisses me off so much, because he knows I’m so good, but he want help. Its all about HIM and him and his friends sing and have all kinds of stuff to help them further there careers. They even went to myspace music page with it. Left me, out. I love to sing also.. but he ignores me and does what he wants. That hurts living in the life of someone else and hiding all my talents away and I have put up with this going on 2 years now. I see him living his ways and making it about himself.. and I feel like I’m so much better… like I will show you one day. Its not about revenge or like showing off, but its like showing myself to thoughs who don’t have faith in me that I CAN DO IT!! SOO WHAT!! SO what! I love saying that to him… good confidence there. Truthfully, this is all real and I love your show, btw how do bigger women wear sexy clothes??? I watched that one episode but I go out to the mall and cant find my size in these stores that I love so much!! And soo I break down and cry. I used to be so skinny till now.. and it took less than a year to go from 130 to 190-95. That’s bad, because I have a lot of bad stretch marks that don’t lie.. and I can’t feel sexy and my boyfriend says my legs look like elephant legs. Well I said SO WHAT?!? But that’s my insecurity. But im most Confident in My talent in acting! If you don’t reply I understand.. I will one day be on your show and tell you my journey as a young mother that dreams can come to thoughs even if help is hard, but the spirits and the soul itself never dies… I will continue on this dream.. till I make it. howdy, My wife has always wanted to ride on a dog sled. She hasn't been able to get to Alaska. But we heard there are some in Michigan and used to be in Idaho. My name is Kimberly, I dropped out of school at 13 years old. I am going to be 17 in August of 2008.
I have always wanted to be singer. In fact that was the only reason I wanted to go to school at all because I was in choir. I was in choir since the 3rd grade and it stayed that way until I left school. I left school because I was the geeky girl who loved school and never got detention and never got anything lower than a B on a report card. I was also the fat girl.
I was suppose to be in a magnet school but my parents didnt have the money.
To this day I sing sing sing.
The fact that I was made fun made me a whole lot stronger and the person I am today.
I love music, and I want to help young girls and teens like myselg through music. Girls who v-get made fun of and girls who dont fit in. Singing 9snt about how much fane and money you have or can recieve by becoming a vocalist, its about the message you send out through lyric.

I want to say I really do adore you, you are so inspirational. I am 27 years old and I have always been very insecure about my body. I had three boys by the time I was 21, and my body is out of shape and it really brings me down sometimes. My dream is to have a tummy tuck and lipo. If I ever won the lottery or received a lump sum of money that will be the first thing I do, even before I take care of my handsome boys. I'm a full-time student majoring in Medical. I haven't had the luxury things in life and I have never won anything in my life, and sometimes I feel I'm a failure in everything I do. I struggle day to day but some how by the grace of God I make it thru the days. If you can make this happen Tyra I would really appreciate it and I wouldn't let this go to my head, it would build my coinfidence. my name is dena i'm an 18 yr old female from Boise, Id. When i began crawling it was the same day i started dancing. When i was 8yrs old i have always practiced dancing in my room in the dark from the moment i woke up for school til the moment i went to bed. when Ciara came out with her first single "Goodies" i was determined to learn that dance, and i did in less than a week. Three years ago i performed the dance to goodies and 1, 2 step as well as a song written from my sister called "twisted". that was the last time i danced. From the first day i started working i have had no time for play just school and work. I have recently gained 60lbs and am very determined to get in shape so i can feel confident to try out for some auditions, even if it's a Tyra Bootcamp workout, I'll do it. My major dream is to be a back up dancer for Ciara, Chris Brown, Beyonce, or even Usher before i have to go back to school in the fall. Wher do i start.
