The one and only abortion I've ever had, the abortion clinic failed to check my pregnancy level and My Stomach Was Left Scared For Llife. I wanted to tell you about the dearest person I know and about what I would like to do for her. By there is just one thing… I need your help. The person that I’m referring to is my mother. Ever since I could remember she has been the heart and soul of my life. She has inspired me in so many ways. My mom is definitely a person that I can always count on. Amethyst (mom) has been a single parent since I was the age of four. She was physically and sexually abused by her own father when she was younger and gotten into abusive relationships because of that incident when she was younger. My mother has shown great courage in the steps she has taken in order to exceed in life. She know that she wanted a healthy life for her children and herself. The very first thing she did was put a stop to all abusive relationships. This included my own father. I remember the very first time I saw anger in her eyes. I was four at the time. We were in the car outside my grandparent’s house. I remember hearing screaming it turns out that it was my father. He had approached my mothers window and screamed don’t leave me. My mom had enough of the yelling and hitting that my dad bestowed on her. As she said good-bye to all the things that bothered her, she finally could say that she had accomplished something that was beyond the norm. Through my childhood she struggled as a single parent. She hated the fact that she had to be on welfare because she couldn’t stand someone else raising her children. For many years she went through therapy. She can now say that she is passed all the anger and grief that she went through. And just for that since of accomplishment for her it was the passage to grow as an individual as a woman. A woman who grow into her own and succeed as a mother. And now that I’m twenty I understand my mom more then anything, she really did gave it her all. She is the strongest woman I know today and for that I would like to do something for her. I want to make her dream come true. Ever since I was a little girl she talked about going on a family vacation with just the four of us. But we never had the money to do such a thing. We only had the time just to dream of what could come. So Tyra I’m asking you to help me make my mothers dream come true. Can you award my mother a family vacation?
