I have seen practically every episode of Top Model, and watched practially every re-run. Not because I want to be a model, but because i have a passion for photography and I understand that models wouldn't be where they are today without talented photographers who are devoted to their job. When i watch your show, I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what the resulting pictures are, and i love the ideas the show uses for themes and backgrounds. I didn't graduate high school, but when i moved to hawaii where we were and still are stationed, i went back to night school and got my diploma, but I'm not quite sure how to pursue my career in the photography industry. I have photos that I would love to send you and get your opinion on, not of myself but of close friends that let me shoot them. I would love to know what programs you use for your photos and speak with you about ways to make my career advance. This is something i am so very passionate about and i have so many ideas to put into photos but i can't just go out in the world and ask people to let me shoot them. Wow! What to say?! I have so many things running through my head right now!
I guess I will start by saying that I am 18 years old, I am enlisted into the Untied States Navy and I leave august 5th 2008. I just graduated high school in December of '07.
The past few months I have been on a journey of self-discovery, which was affected by many things that have been happening in my life, both good and bad!
I'll tell ya, I've been doing my catching up on Americas Next Top Model re-runs and when you said, "when you lay there in bed at night, you take responsibility for yourself, cause no one is going to take responsibility for you....I'm not a victim I grow from it and I learn...Take control of your destiny." Those words have stuck with me, and I've been repeating them to myself constantly.
I have enormous amounts of talent when it comes to singing, acting, dancing, really anything I put my mind to! That’s why I know that I will do a great job in the Navy.
But then sometimes I think to myself,
'I am enlisted for 6 years, and I have such a passion for singing, dancing and I have always wanted to model....'
I just would never want to look back and wonder what else I could have done.
I don't think that I would be in such a difficult place if I wasn't about to leave in 3 months, cause I wouldn't feel like I had a time limit on pursuing my dream.
I have never actually felt stuck before, but I do right now! Not in a bad way, actually a very good way……. I feel humbled that I am stuck in the middle of the road with so many different options. I’m just a little confused right now.
I would love to have the opportunity to share my voice with the world at some point, but right now I am just lucky to be able to share it with you!

I use to think that i have to be really thin to be an actress or a model until i saw your shows of plus-size models and beautiful plus-size women.

At age 15 i was 5'5 and i weighed 230 pounds, but everytime i watched your shows you, and the guests there, motivated me to live healthier to be a size healthier. I lost about 60 pounds naturally with a healthy diet, exerscising and eating right. I now weigh about 160 pounds and I want to thankyou for making such a wonderful show that influence and motivate young teenage girls to try their best to get where they want to and to let them know that anything is possible, no matter what size you are, what color you are, or what race you are.

Tyra, my wish has always been to become an actress. To express myself with acting because i find a great fascination in how a person can transform who they are into a completely different person while letting the crowd into thinking that the character is their own. Acting is my passion and it is what makes me happy. I've tried and tried everywhere to apply but my parents just can't afford it. My father is disabled and my mother cannot work so all we depend on is my fathers disability check and my mothers welfare, which is not enough. I've tried to look for classes or acting camps but they are just to expensive. This has been (and still is) my dream so i'm asking you...the only hope i have left... Please,oh please can you make my wish come true and help me get into the acting buisness to become the actress i have always dreamed of.

I know this may not sound like a crazy wish but this a wish I have wanted for 12 years now. My husband and I fell in love back in March of 1995. By Aug we were married at the court house on what I thought was a silly prank.Well here we are 12 almost 13 years later with three girls.I never had a wedding nor a honeymoon with my husband. I have not gone on a vacation with my husband by ourselves since we have been married. The only time we talked about it was in 2004 to prepare for 2005. My father wanted to walk his only daughter down the asile. Well late in 2004 my father passed away. To this day it breaks my heart that I did not get to do it. I thought I would get over it but my Mom says your father would still look down and enjoy seeing his daughter in a wedding dress. My wish Tyra is a Wedding.
