Weight Loss Tips from the Duchess
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, travels all across America talking about the importance of healthy eating and sensible weight management with the Weight Watchers program. She is quick to point out that healthy eating is not just for those trying to shed pounds. A well-balanced diet and healthy eating habits are important for everyone in the family.
The Duchess offers these tips for people looking to lose weight:
- Eat a variety of healthy foods, regardless of where you are (what city, what country, etc). It’s easy to follow the Weight Watchers program because you can eat real foods and still stay on track.
- Activity is key: keep it simple. Plan your day around activity. Wake up 30 minutes earlier and get in a brisk walk before breakfast or stretch your legs during lunch.
- Don’t be deprived of the foods you love. Eat your favorite foods, like gourmet cheese (my personal favorite) but be mindful of portion sizes.

I just recently lost my mom and all I want to do is eat and cry, I do not take any drugs for depression, I wake up everyday, ashamed of my body, thinking that I am the ugliest person alive. I am single and sure its from not having that body that society excepts, I am just lost, confused and very tired of being me, could u please send me some information that would help me get out of this rut I am in....thanks a billion, Tina

First let me say that I am very pleased by your show.I am man age 26 I have a lady whom I love very much aged 25 and weighs 45kg. She has eating disorder (the show which appeared on date 24/04/2008 channel KTN, Nairobi Kenya). This lady is very beautiful in appearance and character. But she has skinny body with tinny breast. Sometimes she ends up putting on ten clothes on her body. I am disgusted seeing her body and weight. Please help to assist this lady because I intend to marry her.

I'm a huge fan! actually i am watching cycle 7 as we speak but anywho,My name is ana, im 16 years old and I have a weight problem! I am so used to being the skinny girl in the crowd, the one who is never ashamed to show my body, now im packing on weight around my mid section and i dont know how to handle it, im 5'8 and i have to be atleast 130 lbs, how do i handle this? i try to work out and do crunches but im out of shape, im soo young and its easy for me to bounce back but how? i eat healthy but i could be eating too much, just to eat! im not even hungry, any suggestions? im too young to be hiding under big sweatshirts and trying to squeeze into size 3s that dont fit my big booty!, please help!,

My name is renee and 25yrs old and i am a fan of your show.I watch it every chance that i get.The reason for me writing this to you is because i have a serious issue with my weight and my body.I have two children and they are embarresed of me and all my friends are skinny and it stops me from doing the things i love to do.Since i had my daughter my weight really increased and i have had a hard struggle.I suffer from depression from this and nobody can help me.I have been with my boyfriend for two and a half years and we just recently split up becuz romantically i would never want to have sex with the light on and he has never seen me naked and its a big problem for me and him.I really love him and cant work around my weight issues so i am very uncomfortable with this.I am a stna and going to school to be a nurse and my depression is stopping me from finishing it and i have big goals for me and my children it's just that i have these issues about my weight and my body.If you can please help i would appreciate it and would do anything for sum help..i am your biggest fan and i adore you.i love america next top model you are the bomb!!Please help me i dont know who else to turn to..hope to hear from you soon..thanks.

hey, im 16 and i am about 5'5 and either 155 to 160 something, dont really know the real weight because the scales are always different. so i dont really know my exact weight. anyways my problem is i do everything to lose weight i excerise at home + i have p.e at school, i do about 90 sit ups a day because i want to flatten my stomach (do they really work? if not tell me what to do) but im really embaresed of my weight and i dont really lose weight fast i want to lose about 30 pounds. please tell me what to do. i wish that i could be confidence in my body and be able to wear whatever i want without being embaresed about it.

Hi tyra i watch your show when ever i can but im 13 and i wiegh alot for my age but i dont know if its way too much i think it is i dont know how to lose it i wanna lose atlleast 5 puonds . i see all the pretty skinny girls get all the guys i like or just get a compliment i wanna get 1 i wanna feel beatiful my parents make it worst they tell me im fat and when i say you make me wanna cut myself all they say is cut of the fat then =[

Hi Tyra i'm 15 and i'm 5'2. I've always had a problem with losing weight i can last one week and that's it. I want you to help me. I want to know what exercises i should do and how many times a week. My problem is that i have a big belly and sometimes people tell me if i'm pregnant. I just want to lose some belly weight if that's possible.

i lost quite a bit of weight taking the pills but i ran out and found myself addicted so i stoped..
now i cant seem to lose any more weight and get down to a perfect body..
i went from a size 7 to a size 5 but i still feel like im a fat girl.
i have this lil 'pudge' on my lower abdomine or stomache..
i have great upper abs but its all my flab thats making me look and feel fat...
i also have thunder thighs.
HELP!!
