Weight Loss Tips from the Duchess
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, travels all across America talking about the importance of healthy eating and sensible weight management with the Weight Watchers program. She is quick to point out that healthy eating is not just for those trying to shed pounds. A well-balanced diet and healthy eating habits are important for everyone in the family.
The Duchess offers these tips for people looking to lose weight:
- Eat a variety of healthy foods, regardless of where you are (what city, what country, etc). It’s easy to follow the Weight Watchers program because you can eat real foods and still stay on track.
- Activity is key: keep it simple. Plan your day around activity. Wake up 30 minutes earlier and get in a brisk walk before breakfast or stretch your legs during lunch.
- Don’t be deprived of the foods you love. Eat your favorite foods, like gourmet cheese (my personal favorite) but be mindful of portion sizes.

hi tyra, i'm 14 yrs old n needs help. i'm 5'5 n a half in height but 160 pounds in weight, my future weight is 120 pounds but it seems i'm over weight now, i was 35 pounds before, in 3rd grade but up to 8th grade now i've put on weight because i join the track n field team, when i was in jamaica but wen i came to live in ny last yr i started to pu on alot, i tryed starving myself but it doesn't work fr my head hurts n my stomach which makes me vomit. i tryed dieting but still doesn't helps. i want to be 120 pounds but it seems to tht way is only by working out, but i can't get the time to do so. my mom is trying hard to get me on a track n field team because i've being running for 4 yrs n she doesn't like to see me looking like how i am, sometimes i cry every night because i'm over weight n it hurts fr wen you look at others or wen others look at you its an difference. i just want to take off 40 pounds n with some advice ntips fr taking my weight off can you help me i'll appreciate it , fr this will change my life n make me be an example to other children. please help me ....... please.

im 15 years old and weigh 175 and im 5'2.
i absoultely HATE the way i look.
others tell me im pretty and that im ok.
but ive always been brought up to make my own decisions and beleive what i want to believe.
and when those people tell me those things i have a huge feeling that there lieing.
im constantly getting teased about my weight. ive tried almost everything in the book.
diets,exercises, cutting back...none of it works..
im just asking tyra may you please help me
before i lose it

Hi Tyra,
First, I'd like to say my mom and I are huge fans. I'm hoping you can help me. I'm 5'2-163lbs and I'm getting married in a year. I can't seem to get motivated to lose 33lbs. I've been a wreck lately the thought of trying on dresses, nothing looks right on me but I keep eatting since I'm so stressed/anxious. Do you have any advice?
