You probley here this alot but I am a major fan of yours. Iam still in highschool so I am bummed that I only get to watch your show on days that I have off. I always remeber to watch Americans Next Top Model and if for some reson I can't i just watch on sunday night on vh1. Anyway I am also big soap opera fan. My friends at school always tease me about because I guess most 17 year olds don't realy get in to soap operas. The soaps that I love to watch are Young and restless, All my children, one life to live and, General Hospital. My all time favorite one is All my children. Hi Tyra, I'm 16 years old & I just started watching your show a few nights ago. I picked up on it really fast & your words of wisdom inspire me a lot.

Tonights episode (I don't know if it was a rerun or a new one) was about a family corrupted by Hurricane Katrina, they received 150,000 dollars from the low by bills man or something. But I was just wondering why couldn't 1,000 dollars be sent out to 150 familes rather than just one family receiving 150,000 dollars. The thought was wonderful, however, it did not make much sense to me when there are a lot more families out there for need. 150,000 dollars is a lot of money and could buy one family a new home to be finished, but 1,000 dollars could help 150 families build a new home.

You keep talking about how you and your granny, Franie, use to watch soaps together every summer, well my connection with soaps goes past just watching soaps with a family memeber. When I was still in my mommy's belly she use to watch The Young and the Restless everyday, even up til i was much older. Well growing up we shared that together, but that's not all that we shared. Two months ago I had all my regular tests and was cancer free...two months later I have 6/8 weeks to live,
talk about life throwing you for a loop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've used 4 of those weeks already......chemo needs to kick in soon!

my utilities are all being shut off (gas, lights, phone, water, car insurance and cable). I can't afford food if I pay my deductibles or I miss my medicine and EAT OR I pay the bills and DIE from lack of food or medicine!

I have lost 60 pounds so far. I weighed
210 and now I'm 150

In the next 7 days I will be living out my life in the dark, no water, gas, lights, phone cable & computer ( my windows to the world )

My last prescription to help me fight the illness from chemo was $ 1759.00 for a 30 day supply. I COULD BUY ONLY 6 pills. Medical marijuana works best and even if I could get it, I can't afford it

Now 2 house payments behind.
I can't get meals on wheels any more as I can't afford the donation.

Susie my life partner of 28 years is taking great care of me, She is only getting 18 hours a week at work @ 6.95 hour, WORKING A BUFFET LOADING FOOD. We live in a small farming town of 2200 people and jobs are very hard to find.

I just watched your show on Soap Operas. I am the biggest GH fan ever!! Love the show. When I watched your show today I was so into it that I almost burnt my house down! I put some mac n cheese on the stove for my son and got so caught up in your show that I completely forgot the food for like a half hour! I absoultly love you and you even for 1 hour a day give me hope to keep moving on and staying alive. Its been a rough year for me and you give me a smile, and hope.
